Oy NvR ....I hope that's not a serious question! If it is, no, I thin it was manufactured and assembled via an assembly line of workers. This rebuild/restoration was torn down and rebuilt by one man....not only hand cleaning parts and replacing but machining many parts to spec! Thats MORE then ANY Suzuki factory will ever do.

Here goes what he is saying is he went for a plop which takes 3 minutes ish but ended up taking 20 because he watched this video if you have never done this your legs go numb and it's virtually impossible to walk hope this clears that up for you and you now understand no need to thank me

Still time for a new project. You motivated me to do a restore. I did a 1986 CR125, 1995 CR250, 1970 CT70, and now I am doing a 1982 KX80.

WOW...amazing work, what an attention to detail you have. I do appreciate you measuring parts aswell and not just replacing items regardless, if they're in service limits then why replace. The part where you masked up the gasket mating surface I was very impressed with as well as machining the outer clutch basket grooves (i think I'd of replaced personally because of no machining skills like you). Great vieo too shows everything but interestingly, you have a very wide and varied skill set clearly.
Your a craftsman, I did my 125 slingshot back in 98, only thing changed from stock was frame painted same purple as the one within the seat covers pattern, learning curve I dropped mine off the stand also, same deal sanding and repainting under frame. Great video man
I had the same identical bike -1992. Bought it brand new. It was great. Should have never sold it. Great restoration! Amazing talent.

Absolutely phenomenal. I did a 92’ livery on a 2005 a few years ago but it doesn’t even come close to the amount of work you put in here. Couldn’t take my eyes off the screen, man

That is some awesome work. Having the tools and the knowledge of how to use them is what made that bike come back to life. Always thought those gen RM’s were one of the sharpest around from the factory.
The filming and the resto were the best I have seen anywhere....you must have the same disease I do!
Amazing even fabricating some of the parts,you have amazing skills man,as good as the day it come out of the factory,even put the warning stickers back on the mudguard.
I love the wild Graphics kit you put on, and the seat was the cherry on top.

Now this was a pure 'Money no object' restoration. well done.
That's the most thorough and professional build I've seen. I'm just surprised you didn't pressure wash the bike first. That's usually the 1st thing I do cause otherwise dirt gets everywhere!
Please do a KDX 250 or 220 rebuild also a RMX. I have all Three love to see You do these legendary Bikes of Off Road Raceing👍👍👍

Did a better job re-building this looped out POS than Suzuki did building it in the first place! First time I’ve ever even wanted to look at a Suzuki for 20 minutes 🤣 Amazing job!!!

Awesome job man, love that you kept it mostly OEM. It's easy to get carried away and mod these as the resto process goes on. Wish I had filmed the process when I recently restored my 1986 Honda cr500. Was in similar shape as yours was and I completely redid the bike. Only thing I wasn't able to do was get new gold excels and stainless spokes as I ran out of money but everything is done. Gotta love the older 2 strokes!

@@2183valerio I took a bunch of pictures along the way but dont have any video footage. Unfortunatly the bike was stolen back on September 1st. I had only ridden it 15 minutes total since I finished the build and someone broke into my garage late one night. Still hoping detectives find something but it was a bad hit for me. Almost 5 months work and tons of money gone just like that.

It genuinely is thee best restoration video I've seen here and I've watched a lot. you're talented you spared no expense and also used what was salvageable, other than the clutch basket save instead of new (silly expensive I don't blame you) it's like a brand new off the shop floor bike. Props where its due 👌🏼

Fantastic job. I'm doing the same with my 1994 YZ250 with many genuine parts but a lot of them are no longer available by Yamaha so I have to make them on my own using my lathe like you. 👍👌👏
