I have the 9mm uppers from CMMG. I use your conversion mags adapters for that upper I was wondering if you might possibly be coming out with a mag/ conversion kit for the CMMG 40 caliber uppers. I would also like to know if you’re going to come out with a 40 caliber upper, that would use a standard lower.
Okay, this looks like an awesome system but for $1500, I can take a little heat and recoil. Very cool upper though! If I had the $$$$ I would definitely roll one of those. Thanks for the Video!
There are 5 different lifters that you use to tune the rifle, the best choice is determined by the ammo you're using and shooting suppressed or not etc. If you have an issue with cycling changing the lifter can be the difference. I own a 16" of this gun. I had some minor issues to work out and had a fantastic experience working with MEAN on it and got incredible support from them. It now runs flawlessly. The upper comes with 2 lifters but there are others, a lifter changes your dwell time with the bolt closed by changing the angle on the face of the lifter which changes the force needed to actuate the locking mechanism. I built mine out to be pretty fancy and i love it. The endomags work great too. The issues i had weren't related to the upper itself and un the end turned out to be the captured buffer i was using, switching to a normal h2 and flat spring fixed it up entirely. I am trying another captured system this weekend (hopefully), but had an issue with the armaspec h2 captured buffer.
I had issues with the Armaspec gen 4 SRS buffer as well. The small secondary spring is what provides the preload and it wasnt enough pressure to seat the BCG. I made a nylon spacer to sit behind that spring to increase preload and it worked. I ultimately switched it out to a standard Tubbs flatwire and kynshot and that thing is smooth.
@@ZEE0H6 nice, mine was a gen3 H2. A normal flat spring and H2 worked just fine. I now have the unrivaled duty buffer in there which is carbine weight and haven't had any problems so far but only about 250 through it since then.

Yeah, wtf is that about?! Most manufacturers skimp out, use inferior alloys of aluminum (six thousand series) rather then going with 7075 t6, but they can be made serviceable, unlike a polymer handguard. I'm not a big fan of any wear part being made from polymer, just due to the legislation that's been getting passed across the nation lately.

@@blackfacegaming191the CMMG version does not have an ejector built into the mag because there is one in the upper on the banshee. But yes I have worn out the ejector in the standard version of the mag inset too. MEAN replaced it though
Way better alternative to this rifle. The fact they skimped, and went with a polymer handguard is a joke. I'm sure they will use the weight justification, when its really about profit margins. Its difficult to make a rigid, and relieble aluminium handguard; polymer shouldn't be considered for a handguard or any wear part material, especially one with a rail.

The can is moving like it has a piston spring in it for use in a tilting barrel pistol . Can that can be changed to a fixed spacer such as what the Silencerco Osprey uses ?
It's a recoil booster or Nielsen device. Some handguns need the extra boost to cycle reliably with a suppressor. The extra weight on the barrel can even stop it cycling. A fixed barreled gun like this doesn't need it. But cool we got to see it working on this video.

cmmg is a radial delayed system.

I think thats the piston on the silencer your seeing movng.
It appears to be the booster on the can moving forward and back. The barrel.should be a solid mount like any other AR upper.

Are the bearings locking up on aluminum?
No, the bearing engage pockets in our steel barrel extension, which is threaded onto the barrel
