It may not be one of the most highly regarded films ever made, But it's one that I personally enjoy! Kenan Thompson's performance as Fat Albert was just phenomenal!!!

Hi! I had this comment on the original video when I discovered you posted this just yesterday. So I’ll just copy and paste again lol:
Growing up, I watched the Fat Albert Movie before discovering the Tv show (ran from
1972-1985)and I absolutely loved both. Fat Albert never grew out of me even as an adult.
Unlike some folks, I don't have an issue with the characters transitioning to live action. If the movie was mainly in cartoon or live action form, the characters would've still made it fun to watch. It was definitely made for the young demographic which was also the case with kids in the 70's.
However, I do feel that there's some minor things that we're missing in the character development. Some noticeable, others not so much. For example, Bucky never had a lot of screen time (he and Mushmouth were the only ones not giving personal episodes in the show). Since the characters got to develop their personalities in the real world (ex: Dumb Donald became smart), maybe the film should've had Bucky pull a "Stefan" card and get more attention/popular.
The other being Rudy (My fav). They changed his personality completely without any buildup, though I don't mind him being more well mannered and chivalrous. In the show, he's known as the arrogant one, so perhaps the movie should've played with that more with Rudy if they're already having the characters change in the real world.
Nevertheless Fat Albert ( show and movie) will always be part of my childhood. Lemme know What do you guys think 🙂

12:00 "and what's up with that sock puppet??"
sounds like Mementos was about to rewind the videos to see that puppet who was never part of the video only to find out that was gone and wondering if that was a real thing or some fabrication of his imagination
