I feel like the Equilibrium should have been on this list; mainly because HooH will do anything to make sure everything will be equal, which could range from manipulating other aeons to get the desired results it wants
But in the sense of the cosmos of this story, Equilibrium would be a saving grace, it's core aspect is simply balance, and personally, that means evening-out good, evil, indifference, ect. Which seems more beneficial then harmful
The point of this isn't a matter of intent, but effect in the universe. After all, IX has no particular ill intent toward anyone, but its very existence causes much misery. Likewise, HooH just wants balance in all things. Yes, this means it will encourage good when evil predominates, but the reverse is also true. I suspect this happens on the level of the rise and fall of Paths and Aeons as well. Then again, I think one of Star Rail's major themes is that any path taken to the extreme (even Equilibrium) can be harmful.

honestly same im just watching almost every video I can because its sooo interesting I want to learn more of the Aeons and their followers, I want to know of the different universes and worlds, the genius society etc.
This is just me but the reason why the Star Rail's lore is really interesting is because it's associated on the unknown boundaries of the universe and we humans really have that curiosity to find out the truth of those unknowns. I am hooked to it's lore because I really like sci fi fantasy like Star wars, Star Trek, Dead space etc etc
IX and Mythus are the scariest. One can stop reality from functioning and the other can erase concepts. Aha is close since we don't know to what extent his power can do. Imagine if Aha thought: Wouldn't it be funny if I revive this one girl that the guy that's gonna to kill Nanook likes, and make her die infinite deaths lmao
In a sense IX can destroy space time matter and maybe reality etc since he is in a way a sentient black hole + stop reality is very large and I don’t really understand what it means. He is the nothingness of the entire universe and could easily destroy galaxies and system without doing anything. The nothingness the pitch black world who erase existence itself.
Some speculation. Ouroboros IS the end of the universe that fuli and terminus predict and qlipoth is afraid of. It took dusk wars and the effort of all aeons then to... No, not kill, but to suppress it long enough to build a barrier to stop it (that's why Hertha was so surprised to see ouroboros she paused it). It created an aeon out of the wish to be remembered before being devoured. The swarm was afraid of it after meeting it beyond the broken qlipoth barrier (that would explain why fuli was born precisely then, and why the indifferent wall guy agreed to hammer tayzzironth - nobody messes with my walls).
There might be some truth to that, I seem to recall that qlipoth built the giant wall to keep something out (though might remember this wrongly) and qlipoth was said to have been involved during the war against the leviathans which ouroboros is a remnant of soooo
If I am not wrong, in the SU Swarm disaster secret story, Ena the Order has made a deal with Qlipoth she deals Ouroboros while Qlipoth gets rid of Tayzziroth. I read somewhere Ena has been absorbed by Xipe the Harmony, it explains one of extra heads of Xipe. But Xipe has three heads, one for herself and one from Ena. Guess who is the third one. I suspect the third head is from Ouroboros. Xipe is very dangerous if she has absorbed Ouroboros. 💀💀💀

Dead aeons cannot be interested, right? Also, it took qlipoth - one of the oldest and strongest of Aeons - whole Dusk wars to just hold them long enough to build a wall. That would mean that harmony is even stronger than preservation, which is strange.

Ngl Elation is closer to Chaos, since true Elation can't be predicted, which is the definition of chaos. I'd say ENTROPY is a more fitting term for Destruction, since the concept of it isn't good (Antimatter Legion) or bad (Annihilation Gang), all factions of Destruction just seek the BREAKDOWN of the universe, no matter how fast or slow the approach may be. Phantylia is a good example of Destruction's variety.
Aha seems to be the most dangerous in my eyes. The rest are more or less predictable, because they have a set goal or path that they follow almost religiously, and while Aha does follow elation and fun, what's fun could range between anything any of the other aeons are doing; destroying the universe could be fun in the eyes of Aha. So while we know Nanook wants to destroy us, Aha could be our friend one moment, and our worst enemy the next.
Aha is the "least restricted" because the concept of Elation is different for different people. The masked fools are so scary as a group because you can truly never KNOW what to expect. it's an entire guild of Space Jokers.
There is no such thing as 'destroying' universe in Hoyoverse because its all just one big universe with worlds being blocked by Imaginary Barrier and it's only thanks to the trailblaze path that some worlds can be reached. Besides if there are really universe destroyers, it would be the strongest characters of Hoyoverse that exists beyond the Imaginary Tree such as Yog-sothoth, Thanatos, Azatoth, Zeus and etc.
HooH The Equilibrium should 100% be here as well, he is basically the one holding the other Aeons accountable as if the Equilibrium is broken he will wipe them out of existence in an instance

I originally thought about including it, even as an honorable mention but right now we just know too little about it. The idea that terminus represents the end of the universe is something the omen vanguards think rather than something we know to be universally true. Of course, it could definitely end up that way but for now I feel we know too little about it to be included. Plus theres also a possibility that terminus isnt capable of changing anything and just knows how things will end, so its less dangerous in that sense since itll die alongside everything else rather than be the mastermind behind it all. Again, not saying it isnt just that we know too little about it atm
technically "Finality" in Honkai terms actually works in more of the reverse to what you'd expect. Finality is a "reset" that puts things back to their zero state. Ironically "Origin" is closer to the concept of The End in Honkai as it defies the laws of the Samsara (The Imaginary cycle) and creates new possibilities beyond what Finality deemed to be the end point.

Meaning that Terminus symbolises Finality itself.. Aka he is The END. From what ik... There is no Aeon of Origin.. And in HI3 it is said that Origin Betrayed Finality.. Possibly meaning that.. Origin is derived from finality itself. Meaning that Finality itself is the Begining and the End.. The Alpha and Omega.. Also.. Finality simply means that something has ended, and when something ends, it's the Origin of something new, it is completely neutral. What is the end of every fairy tale? They all live happily ever after. In fact this is why Honkai 3rd part 1 ended with a good ending, Kiana, Mei and Bronya realised the Truth of Finality, that it is a new Origin, allowing Kiana to relate to the Cocoon of Finality and reflect upon it, becoming the Herrscher of Finality, basically the Emanator of Finality, saving the world by bringing the crisis to Finality.
Also the reason Herta warns about IX probably has more to do with the way sim universe works than the aeon's danger level. If Nanook kills tb Herta can just reboot the sim universe or inject you back in the code. If you meet IX even if in the sim universe you start to lose the will to live which Herta can't just reload. If you get bored and don't want to test sim universe anymore then the project is down until you regain the desire. Granted I don't think any of this is confirmed anywhere but it's what makes the most sense. You can hardly get more dangerous than destruction itself.
Personally, i like to say that HooH is the strongest aeon that exists, they are the one who keep the balance of the universe. If they want tho they can ascend a new aeon. But sadly they have a shackle called "balance". They wont interfere except something is trying to destroy the balance of the universe.

Hooh is based on the concepts of Karma and Yin Yang, these are completely neutral laws of the universe. In fact they would likely be your ally if the universe is in danger, they would balance it out. Karma states that the more negativity you put into the world, the more you get back from it, the same as positivity. Just do good and you'll receive good. Yin Yang means that light shines the brightest in the darkest night, and the brightest light casts the darkest shadow, if the world is in darkness, become the brightest light instead.
The video is pretty good ngl, I liked the theory of the loop idea making IX depressed and that probably is why they ascended, never thought about that and there is also the fable of Aha climbing the imaginary tree and seeing that the universe is "false" and the end of all things would be nihilism. Also THANK U for recognizing that Aha and Mythus are actually more dangerous than they are given credit for, I think Aha themselves holds immense power, but as they just use it to entertain themselves it could be fine for a long time until they decide it would be fun to just erase everything. But I would like to point a things for future videos! All the Aeons use they/them pronouns in english, the few times it doesnt happen is an error in translation, in the or8ginal text in chinese they use a special set of pronouns used only for deities so it would be like a they/them version of it, or more like "higher beings arent bound by mortal rules".
I think aeon of nihility IX is the most dangerous and strongest aeon. That aeon can swallow everything and can destroy every existence to nothing. Imagine that Acheron is emanator of IX. She would be the strongest Emanator.

From a subjective standpoint, I do agree with Mythus being in the list IF the IPC doesn't exist. IPC being the greedy organization we know of, they'd just enslave the confused people of an almost destroyed civilization under their hands by making them drowning in debts. And other factions are also extending their own hands like how The Family was able to save and acquire Penacony. Mythus can only confuse to death people that are in the corners of the universe that other factions aren't able to discover or reach.
Pretty sure Mythus can confuse even Nous. Probably the reason why more important worlds haven't been affected by Mythus is because they're protected by other Aeons.
The worm wasn't about suffering, Aha as it does, wanted to troll Nous to see if it'd take the worm in as a genius society member but just as Aha is funny incarnate, Nous is reason incarnate so it was never going to let a worm into genius society. Aha then didn't see the funny anymore and just left. The worm also wasn't just doped with a buttload of power but specifically was made an emanator a being with essentially the same power as an aeon, direct access to its path for as much as the aeon allows. The way Aha was born is also a massive troll. It saw a baby drop and found it so funny its laughter echoed throughout all existence ascending as elation.
The worm got killed, Aha got bored of it after it didn't join the genius society. Aha then took back all of the powers from the Worm, which then killed it.

It wanted to do a funny and have the smartasses of existence take a worm among their ranks.

fun aeon facts: Nous is not a giant robotic eye, its giant robot head in profile, and only known aeon created by human. Aha is not circus stuff, there is silhouette behind, and Aha ascended when he saw child fall, making him laugh so hard it echoed across universe. Nanook youngest out of all aeons. Tayzzyronth ascended to aeonhood because he was lonely.
I feel like Ena the aeon of order was also a strong and dangerous aeon. Its just that Ena's path was the same with Xipe so Ena fused with Xipe But herta gave a huge emphasis on how strong ena was when it was still alive.
Yaoshi is androgynous, and they have been consistently portrayed that way (e.g. the lore very insistently refers to Yaoshi with they/them pronouns). Also, just my opinion, but the talons on their hands and feet and the red eyes that open on their body like wounds mar Yaoshi's beauty. 😉

we have The Arbitrators which fully agree with HooHs thought of balance. they actually try to change the world into equality by themselves and in the factions in the data bank you can even read that HooH knows that the mortals can do nothing. Basically they are living an unreachable dream

Mythos and Nous are literally polar opposites. The fact that Mythos is considered and incalculable variable by Nous proved how it can literally eliminate knowledge to the extent where Nous couldn't predict. It's in the event of Gold and Gears btw
i wonder if nanook can even destroy IX, unlike the other aeons IX is a blackhole that ascended to aeonhood so ya prolly something bigger n prolly more physically dangerous than phoenix A...plus it forces nihilism on others. oroboras and ix might look similar but they are infact different as one has physical body with a stomach like a black hole while the other is a black hole. Also I think Aha would be the most dangerous, he might not seem that strong but he reminds me of nyarlathotep from HP Lovecraft. He might be even able to fool or trick other aeons into killing each other n having the last laugh. And one other thing, since its a hoyoverse game, in genshin we saw archons as the strongest but then we were introduced to celestia who are higher gods and also the dragon soverigns...so could there be entities higher than aeons in HSR then?
I believe AHA won't have the audicy to trick other aeons into fighting each other, otherwise AHA will be deemed as an aeon that try to shake the balance of universe by HooH. You guys know right that HooH is literally the big boss of the aeons, since every aeon ascended is related to them.
IX is not a black hole. Because black holes are a thing and they exist. They are zero dimensional singularity with infinite density. IX is absolute nothingness. IX is probably a true vacuum instead of a true black hole. Because true vacuum would have same appearence as a black hole. But instead of having singularity it would have nothing (not even fabric of the universe) in it. As for why it's called a black hole is most likely done by history fictionologists. Otherwise it doesnt make sense for Aeon of nothingness to contain something inside them.
the big question I still have is that we have an "Aeon Of Finality" in Terminus so doesn't that logically imply that there SHOULD be an "Aeon Of Origin" too? since like you can't have an end without a beginning....Or in this case something that uses the end as a beginning. also on that note Terminus (assuming it plays by the established rules of what Finality is in the Hoyoverse) moves "Backwards in time" because Timelines in Honkai are cyclical Samsaras that end and reset over and over again (which is what Finality actually does) until one day "The Honkai" decides they're failed enough to drop them from the Imaginary Tree to feed the Quantum Sea and keep the balance between the 2. so then, Star Rail doesn't seem to HAVE Honkai energy or at least has very small amounts (since Welt's powers do seem to still work just greatly reduced) it's conceptual law the Universes/Timelines/branches...whatever word you wanna use...REQUIRE Honkai energy for worlds to sustain evolving life since that's just part of the tree's design...Meaning that on the Surface at least Star Rail LOOKS like an already dead/dying Universe...Unless something bigger has decided to intervene.
Some corrections: It isn't Honkai energy, its Imaginary energy. And while the caccoon is much older than many Aeons that we know of, it is entirely separate from the mechanics of the Imaginary Tree.

They might be the same, depending on the general state. Since aeons represent concepts once Finality is through it may be the starting point for its counterpart and vice versa.
I think equilibrium will certainly try to ensure Nanook wont destroy everything (and try to make sure he just destroys half of everything) but if that were the case then what kafka mentions when she was interrogated wouldnt come true, where nanook ends up destroying everything meaning that a future exists where equilibrium couldnt stop Nanook
Players, the aeons of perseverance Even it means destroying the inaginary tree, they will do what is set in the story, or in their goal I guess you could say it would be the strongest bc it literally encompasses what paths are in the first place The believe in something and persevere through any means necessary to reach what you think Literally all aeons persevere in their own interests... Except for IX but he still destroys thing that is not fit with what he thinks so i guess thats perseverance, as well other aeons
Lan's slightly religious "Anti Abundence" crusade across the universe might seem good on the surface, espesially once you see what the Luofu had to deal with, but there are probably plenty of other worlds that might not be that badly effected by the power of Abundence, and it might be even saving their civilization. yet I can easily see Lan and his troops still attacking and killing them because they are "infected with abundence"
The most dangerous Aeons? Well, please allow me to give my opinion on each Aeons prospect of dangerous capabilities. All 18 Aeons; Akivili the Trailblaze, Qlipoth the Preservation, Nanook the Destruction, Yaoshi the Abundance, Lan the Hunt, Nous the Erudition, IX the Nihility, Xipe the Harmony, Ena the Order, Tayzzyronth the Propagation, Oroboros the Voracity, Aha the Elation, HooH the Equilibrium, Fuli the Remembrance, Mythus the Enigmata, Long the Permanence, Terminus the Finality, Idrila the Beauty. If we’re going off of the Danger an Aeon itself possesses, and not it’s influence, then we can cross off; Ena, Akivili, Long, Tayzzyronth, and Idrila since these Aeons themselves are already gone and can no longer pose as any kind of potential danger. Since this leaves 13 Aeons left … I’ll only be talking about Nanook, Aha, IX, Oroboros, Fuli, HooH, Mythus, and Qlipoth. (This isn’t because I think these Aeons are the most dangerous, but because they are all significantly dangerous in there own way, as well as … not as dangerous as we originally thought.) Nanook is without question the most terrifying Aeon due to their willingness to destroy all of life itself, however … they seem to depend on their factions of Destruction performing this task on his behalf more than himself. We always hear about the Anti Matter Legion and the Lord Ravagers destroying planets and such … but we don’t hear anything about Nanook specifically. I’m sure he’s doing … something of Destruction, there appears to be a limit to this Aeons prowess, what that limit is specifically … we don’t know, but at the same time, whatever limits an Aeon doesn’t stop the fact that it is still an Aeon, so it will naturally still possess much power nonetheless. There is also the fact that we’ve been told that we will encounter this Aeon and stop them, so the Aeon of Destruction can be considered a Soon-To-Be-Neutralized Aeon. IX the Nihility, his existence itself endangers … existence itself. Sounds rather dangerous, the concept of nothingness overpowers the existence of everything. However, IX doesn’t believe in Nihilism itself, but rather an inevitable end of life, being consumed into the void. So … if this believe of the inevitable void is changed, wouldn’t the Aeon of Nihility change alongside it? There are still many mysteries on how Aeons work, Ena proves that an Aeon alongside its Path can indeed go away, so why not change a Path entirely? This is what the Doctors of Chaos might be achieving, intentionally or not, of course … their progress in actually achieving this is rather … nonexistent … but it is still being practiced nonetheless! (I wonder if we’ll even be there to witness it, if it does indeed happen to occur!) Oroboros the Voracity, now … this Aeon is … one I’m really intrigued by. Their existence is an ancient one, and may even shine light upon a time before Aeons were a thing, however, what intrigues me the most about this Aeon specifically, is their disappearance. Evidently, the last time this Aeon was ever seen, was when Tayzzyronth was killed, afterwards they just simply … haven’t been seen since then. From what we do hear about this Aeons Dangerousness, is that apparently it’s appetite can combat against Tayzzyronths reproduction, and that alone says a lot! Currently however, this Aeon is truly MIA, and not only that, but … the Path of this Aeon goes with absolutely no significant mention. (I wonder if the Path of Voracity is connected to the Leviathans since the Aeon is considered both at the same time?) Qlipoth … do I even need to say anything about this guy? Fuli, now this guy, I do have a few words about. He is always described as someone who will Preserve this world, but we know from Ena that … a minor Path is assimilated into the major Path, if both Paths are of the same subject … but Fuli and Qlipoth are still not assimilated, so whatever pursuit of Preservation Fuli is attempting, is different from Qlipoth’s Preservation, and that is such a suspicious thing. (I might also be biased about Fuli’s dangerousness, since I theorized that Fuli created the Stellarons.) Mythus the Enigmata, we’re told about the dangers of the Enigmata, but … we also have to realize that the Enigmata is simply put … the epitome of Falsehoods, he isn’t actually endangering life specifically, but rather the History of Life. This is still rather dangerous in itself, don’t get me wrong there, but also … it isn’t a lethal act in itself. HooH, now this Aeon I’m not too certain about, since we haven’t heard of anything bad about this. Even in the Simulated Universe when Equilibrium is practiced, everyone is in complete agreement of it. Implications of Equilibrium suggests that the most dangerous thing this Aeon can ever do, is simply Stand By as certain crimes were committed. It’s also suggested that they have such balance over the universe, that it maybe doesn’t ever need to do such things, and that everything will always be in perfect Equilibrium, and … the Aeon themselves is currently just … existing as is. Their presence itself has already done all of the work. … if I continue thinking deeper into it, I’ll be sending myself to the Asylum. In which case, this Aeon is actually dangerous enough to endanger us … the players mentality. XD Aha the Elation, always seeking out the next Joke/Tragedy. A very uncontrollable Aeon, but then again … what Aeon is controllable? I dont believe this Aeon is a danger, but rather a severe risk of danger. Always chasing for the next Elation, they’ll go to any length they think is necessary to achieve such Elation … so what if that length is shortened? What if we appease the Elation, wouldn’t the increasing risk of danger essentially cease to be? The Elation can be countered, I can go further into the true dangers of Elation, but I feel like I’ve already typed way too much, so I’ll be letting y’all go now.
Maybe aeons ascended in aeonhood ( higher dimension than the universe of star rail ) and they can descend with an emanator or something like that or just they descend when they want to. I mean either nanook is in the aeonhood and he gives order to his army through emanator to destroy etc or either he is blocked by hooh to prevent the destruction of equilibrium of universe or he is in the universe and he destroys multiple galaxies at the same time but we don’t about it. Either way it’s indeed strange that we don’t know where he is or what he is doing.
I have my doubts about Qlipoth and Fuli. The prior because there is nothing major it has done that can be considered as dangerous in an universal scale. It has only built a barrier around the cosmos, presumably to protect it from something beyond the existing universe, and I don't think this is as dangerous as wanting to destroy it, intentionally or not. The IPC being corrupt in many cases is not a reflection of its aeon, as there are too many examples of followers of an aeon being not very appreciated by the aeon itself. As for Fuli, it is probably the most impartial and unproblematic aeon. It has not involved itself in any major conflict or disaster, since its only purpose is to record the events of the universe. You could argue that its presence could be considered as a foreshadow of something major happening, but that's on any other external factor, not on Fuli itself. A scribe is not the instigator of a war.
Whats interesting is that the swords of Izumo (edict edges) seems to be a direct throwback to the herschers so I wonder if the concept exists within star rail or the aeons indeed are this universes version of the herschers

Terminus is more neutral. The aeon travels back through time, or rather traverse time backwards. Anything that Terminus witnessed had already happened in the future and soon to follow regardless. Terminus does not contribute to destruction and thus being a rather neutral Aeon
Too many the concept of the End may seem evil because it's the end of all life and everything, in reality the concept of Finality or basically the End is pretty Neutral. Once the End of the universe happens, a new cycle will be born.
Ouroboros once completely consumed an entire galaxy with billion of stars just to devour the swarms. And countless galaxies have already been consumed into their body. That alone says how powerful Ouroboros really is.
I don't think it's been voiced in game or official media, so we don't really know yet. I like Nine because it puns with "nein", but I'm not the final arbiter. 🙂

i would also argue that Yaoshi is dangerous (maybe not top 5) but for different reasons. rather than being a destroyer, they threaten the balance in an opposite way by eliminating death and destruction. uninhibited growth is just as dangerous as uninhibited destruction. I would like to a see a massive conflict in which Nanook and Yaoshi are constantly fighting each other to throw off the balance in their desired way, but then HooH the equilibrium comes in and acts as the Rayquaza to their Groudon & Kyogre by putting everything back into balance, temporarily incapacitating both
Is anyone going to talk about how the MC and look so visually similar it's scary. The hair color, the eye color, the color scheme. It only annoying. Not to mention they were the first Aeon to resonate with. I have a theory that they originated from the same planet.

Yes and no while kafka did say the mc is artificial info dumps and your say that aeons don't have physical forms that people can interact with. While I can see mc being created from DNA or data from a home world the problem there is most aeons home worlds are lost or destroyed. In my own opinion I think mc has some closer relationship with akievalie or the remberences because kafka said she used her spirit whisper to seal mc memories but she never show the ability to completely remove them.but mc remembers nothing about there time together.
Wanted to but because we know too little about them I just couldnt justify terminus having done anything dangerous right now, they might have we just dont know yet. If and when we get more lore on them i'd probably revise this video 😁
I think Nous is an highly underrated aeon. The guy literally KNOWS and CALCULATES everything. He probably already knows his death date and who will come to kill him. You cant win against an aeon that is billion steps further than you. He can always drop your IP address in an internet argument. Absolutely terrifying.

Mythus doesn't really want to destroy all knowledge. It's in a sense the opposite of Nous. Nous gives concrete and precise answers to all things while Mythus thinks existence without mystery is boring so it obscures knowledge so that there's always something you don't know and can always be curious about exploring new things. If there already is an enigma then the enigmata's job is done. There is no way to recover a planet truly destroyed, what the fuck are you gonna do fish it out of Ouroboros' maw?
There is no going near it or anything like that. Everything has a little bit emptiness inside them. Even aeons themselves. If you follow this shadow you will be falling inside IX. Thats what happened with Acheron and she survived and became an emanator. But most people arent as unfortunate and literally disappear from existence itself.
Yaoshi is also said to be dangerous and that's why the Aeon of The Hunt became an Aeon, to get rid of the problems and abominations created by the Abundance.
I believe yaoshi doesn't really have ill intention, they just give blessings to everyone who seek it. And it won't even surprising if they don't know their blessings is a curse at the same time.

Definitelly thing Yaoshi should be there instead Aha. I mean Laughterer is definitelly super dangerous, but his prank seems to be on relativelly small scale (biggest harm we know he did was "just" blowing up half of planet. That's basically nothing). Yaoshi seems to cause much more harm just by having bigger sphere of influence and being more delibarate in spreading.
A bit late but might as well. Since the story is leading towards our eventual showdown with Nanook, it would stand to reason that we could face down other Aeons as well. Whether they be Aeons that we draw the gaze of and gain their powers like Qlipoth... or ones that we have to eliminate in order to progress the story like Nanook. Additionally, these fights could be simple tests of power or full-on fights to the death. Me, personally... I want to off Aha. He and his followers seem like fully realized anarchists that will stop at nothing to satisfy themselves. And it's that level of motivation that makes him all the more dangerous. We've heard that Aha has the potential to pull off some really twisted stuff just for the hell of it. And what if one of our comrades gets roped into it and ends up dying? Lan the Hunt would also be very dangerous for me. His sole purpose for existing is to kill Yaoshi the Abundance, and he will stop at nothing to achieve that goal. He hates Yaoshi so much that he will destroy anything standing in his way, and even if you're fighting alongside him, he does not care at all about collateral damage or friendly fire

I think all aeons are dangerous in their own right and the scale is enormous, take tayzzyronth for example, compare to other aeon it should be nothing (I mean it is only an evolved bugs that is admitedly not that impressive compare to other aeon) yet the effect still felt to current timeline of hsr and destroys a lot of planet
I can definitely see HooH being quite dangerous but at the same time, they also uphold order and good things given theyre really only concerned with keeping things balanced. If im not mistaken in the simulated universe after the death of Ena the aeon of order, HooH was said to have taken its place in ensuring the universe order is maintained so like the balance it tries to maintain it will at times be dangerous and other times be benevolent. The ones on this list, at least to me are dangerous all the time because of their nature
GGZ has outer gods. Beings outside of imaginary tree that creates other universes and stuff. But they might or might not retcon them in the future. GGZ is not known well for a reason.

I feel like the Equilibrium should have been on this list; mainly because HooH will do anything to make sure everything will be equal, which could range from manipulating other aeons to get the desired results it wants
But in the sense of the cosmos of this story, Equilibrium would be a saving grace, it's core aspect is simply balance, and personally, that means evening-out good, evil, indifference, ect. Which seems more beneficial then harmful

The point of this isn't a matter of intent, but effect in the universe. After all, IX has no particular ill intent toward anyone, but its very existence causes much misery. Likewise, HooH just wants balance in all things. Yes, this means it will encourage good when evil predominates, but the reverse is also true. I suspect this happens on the level of the rise and fall of Paths and Aeons as well.
Then again, I think one of Star Rail's major themes is that any path taken to the extreme (even Equilibrium) can be harmful.
HooH did evil things on screen. I'm pretty sure empowering everyone evil to counterbalance Trailblazer's growing power is not a good thing.

This is just me but the reason why the Star Rail's lore is really interesting is because it's associated on the unknown boundaries of the universe and we humans really have that curiosity to find out the truth of those unknowns. I am hooked to it's lore because I really like sci fi fantasy like Star wars, Star Trek, Dead space etc etc

Some speculation. Ouroboros IS the end of the universe that fuli and terminus predict and qlipoth is afraid of. It took dusk wars and the effort of all aeons then to... No, not kill, but to suppress it long enough to build a barrier to stop it (that's why Hertha was so surprised to see ouroboros she paused it). It created an aeon out of the wish to be remembered before being devoured. The swarm was afraid of it after meeting it beyond the broken qlipoth barrier (that would explain why fuli was born precisely then, and why the indifferent wall guy agreed to hammer tayzzironth - nobody messes with my walls).

If I am not wrong, in the SU Swarm disaster secret story, Ena the Order has made a deal with Qlipoth she deals Ouroboros while Qlipoth gets rid of Tayzziroth.
I read somewhere Ena has been absorbed by Xipe the Harmony, it explains one of extra heads of Xipe. But Xipe has three heads, one for herself and one from Ena.

I'd say ENTROPY is a more fitting term for Destruction, since the concept of it isn't good (Antimatter Legion) or bad (Annihilation Gang), all factions of Destruction just seek the BREAKDOWN of the universe, no matter how fast or slow the approach may be. Phantylia is a good example of Destruction's variety.

Aha seems to be the most dangerous in my eyes. The rest are more or less predictable, because they have a set goal or path that they follow almost religiously, and while Aha does follow elation and fun, what's fun could range between anything any of the other aeons are doing; destroying the universe could be fun in the eyes of Aha.
So while we know Nanook wants to destroy us, Aha could be our friend one moment, and our worst enemy the next.
Aha is the "least restricted" because the concept of Elation is different for different people. The masked fools are so scary as a group because you can truly never KNOW what to expect.

There is no such thing as 'destroying' universe in Hoyoverse because its all just one big universe with worlds being blocked by Imaginary Barrier and it's only thanks to the trailblaze path that some worlds can be reached.
Besides if there are really universe destroyers, it would be the strongest characters of Hoyoverse that exists beyond the Imaginary Tree such as Yog-sothoth, Thanatos, Azatoth, Zeus and etc.

Herta isn't the only one, Fu Xuan also hinted that it might return, Tayzzyronth isn't dead, it's just trapped in amber, Qlipoth probably created a safety measure to prevent the birth of new aeons of propagation, that might be why Ruan Mei's emanator annihilated itself.

I originally thought about including it, even as an honorable mention but right now we just know too little about it. The idea that terminus represents the end of the universe is something the omen vanguards think rather than something we know to be universally true. Of course, it could definitely end up that way but for now I feel we know too little about it to be included. Plus theres also a possibility that terminus isnt capable of changing anything and just knows how things will end, so its less dangerous in that sense since itll die alongside everything else rather than be the mastermind behind it all. Again, not saying it isnt just that we know too little about it atm
technically "Finality" in Honkai terms actually works in more of the reverse to what you'd expect. Finality is a "reset" that puts things back to their zero state.
Ironically "Origin" is closer to the concept of The End in Honkai as it defies the laws of the Samsara (The Imaginary cycle) and creates new possibilities beyond what Finality deemed to be the end point.

Finality simply means that something has ended, and when something ends, it's the Origin of something new, it is completely neutral. What is the end of every fairy tale? They all live happily ever after.
In fact this is why Honkai 3rd part 1 ended with a good ending, Kiana, Mei and Bronya realised the Truth of Finality, that it is a new Origin, allowing Kiana to relate to the Cocoon of Finality and reflect upon it, becoming the Herrscher of Finality, basically the Emanator of Finality, saving the world by bringing the crisis to Finality.
Also the reason Herta warns about IX probably has more to do with the way sim universe works than the aeon's danger level. If Nanook kills tb Herta can just reboot the sim universe or inject you back in the code. If you meet IX even if in the sim universe you start to lose the will to live which Herta can't just reload. If you get bored and don't want to test sim universe anymore then the project is down until you regain the desire.
Granted I don't think any of this is confirmed anywhere but it's what makes the most sense. You can hardly get more dangerous than destruction itself.

Hooh is based on the concepts of Karma and Yin Yang, these are completely neutral laws of the universe. In fact they would likely be your ally if the universe is in danger, they would balance it out. Karma states that the more negativity you put into the world, the more you get back from it, the same as positivity. Just do good and you'll receive good.
Yin Yang means that light shines the brightest in the darkest night, and the brightest light casts the darkest shadow, if the world is in darkness, become the brightest light instead.

Also THANK U for recognizing that Aha and Mythus are actually more dangerous than they are given credit for, I think Aha themselves holds immense power, but as they just use it to entertain themselves it could be fine for a long time until they decide it would be fun to just erase everything. All the Aeons use they/them pronouns in english, the few times it doesnt happen is an error in translation, in the or8ginal text in chinese they use a special set of pronouns used only for deities so it would be like a they/them version of it, or more like "higher beings arent bound by mortal rules".

From a subjective standpoint, I do agree with Mythus being in the list IF the IPC doesn't exist. IPC being the greedy organization we know of, they'd just enslave the confused people of an almost destroyed civilization under their hands by making them drowning in debts. And other factions are also extending their own hands like how The Family was able to save and acquire Penacony. Mythus can only confuse to death people that are in the corners of the universe that other factions aren't able to discover or reach.
Pretty sure Mythus can confuse even Nous. Probably the reason why more important worlds haven't been affected by Mythus is because they're protected by other Aeons.

The worm wasn't about suffering, Aha as it does, wanted to troll Nous to see if it'd take the worm in as a genius society member but just as Aha is funny incarnate, Nous is reason incarnate so it was never going to let a worm into genius society. Aha then didn't see the funny anymore and just left. The worm also wasn't just doped with a buttload of power but specifically was made an emanator a being with essentially the same power as an aeon, direct access to its path for as much as the aeon allows.
The way Aha was born is also a massive troll. It saw a baby drop and found it so funny its laughter echoed throughout all existence ascending as elation.
The worm got killed, Aha got bored of it after it didn't join the genius society. Aha then took back all of the powers from the Worm, which then killed it.

Tayzzyronth ascended to aeonhood because he was lonely.

Yaoshi is androgynous, and they have been consistently portrayed that way (e.g. the lore very insistently refers to Yaoshi with they/them pronouns). Also, just my opinion, but the talons on their hands and feet and the red eyes that open on their body like wounds mar Yaoshi's beauty. 😉

oroboras and ix might look similar but they are infact different as one has physical body with a stomach like a black hole while the other is a black hole.

IX is not a black hole. Because black holes are a thing and they exist. They are zero dimensional singularity with infinite density. IX is absolute nothingness. IX is probably a true vacuum instead of a true black hole. Because true vacuum would have same appearence as a black hole. But instead of having singularity it would have nothing (not even fabric of the universe) in it.
As for why it's called a black hole is most likely done by history fictionologists. Otherwise it doesnt make sense for Aeon of nothingness to contain something inside them.
the big question I still have is that we have an "Aeon Of Finality" in Terminus so doesn't that logically imply that there SHOULD be an "Aeon Of Origin" too? since like you can't have an end without a beginning....Or in this case something that uses the end as a beginning.
also on that note Terminus (assuming it plays by the established rules of what Finality is in the Hoyoverse) moves "Backwards in time" because Timelines in Honkai are cyclical Samsaras that end and reset over and over again (which is what Finality actually does) until one day "The Honkai" decides they're failed enough to drop them from the Imaginary Tree to feed the Quantum Sea and keep the balance between the 2.
so then, Star Rail doesn't seem to HAVE Honkai energy or at least has very small amounts (since Welt's powers do seem to still work just greatly reduced) it's conceptual law the Universes/Timelines/branches...whatever word you wanna use...REQUIRE Honkai energy for worlds to sustain evolving life since that's just part of the tree's design...Meaning that on the Surface at least Star Rail LOOKS like an already dead/dying Universe...Unless something bigger has decided to intervene.

Long the Permanence,

If we’re going off of the Danger an Aeon itself possesses, and not it’s influence, then we can cross off; Ena, Akivili, Long, Tayzzyronth, and Idrila since these Aeons themselves are already gone and can no longer pose as any kind of potential danger.
Since this leaves 13 Aeons left … I’ll only be talking about Nanook, Aha, IX, Oroboros, Fuli, HooH, Mythus, and Qlipoth. (This isn’t because I think these Aeons are the most dangerous, but because they are all significantly dangerous in there own way, as well as … not as dangerous as we originally thought.)
Nanook is without question the most terrifying Aeon due to their willingness to destroy all of life itself, however … they seem to depend on their factions of Destruction performing this task on his behalf more than himself. We always hear about the Anti Matter Legion and the Lord Ravagers destroying planets and such … but we don’t hear anything about Nanook specifically. I’m sure he’s doing … something of Destruction, there appears to be a limit to this Aeons prowess, what that limit is specifically … we don’t know, but at the same time, whatever limits an Aeon doesn’t stop the fact that it is still an Aeon, so it will naturally still possess much power nonetheless. There is also the fact that we’ve been told that we will encounter this Aeon and stop them, so the Aeon of Destruction can be considered a Soon-To-Be-Neutralized Aeon.
IX the Nihility, his existence itself endangers … existence itself. Sounds rather dangerous, the concept of nothingness overpowers the existence of everything. However, IX doesn’t believe in Nihilism itself, but rather an inevitable end of life, being consumed into the void. So … if this believe of the inevitable void is changed, wouldn’t the Aeon of Nihility change alongside it? There are still many mysteries on how Aeons work, Ena proves that an Aeon alongside its Path can indeed go away, so why not change a Path entirely? This is what the Doctors of Chaos might be achieving, intentionally or not, of course … their progress in actually achieving this is rather … nonexistent … but it is still being practiced nonetheless! (I wonder if we’ll even be there to witness it, if it does indeed happen to occur!)
Oroboros the Voracity, now … this Aeon is … one I’m really intrigued by. Their existence is an ancient one, and may even shine light upon a time before Aeons were a thing, however, what intrigues me the most about this Aeon specifically, is their disappearance. Evidently, the last time this Aeon was ever seen, was when Tayzzyronth was killed, afterwards they just simply … haven’t been seen since then. From what we do hear about this Aeons Dangerousness, is that apparently it’s appetite can combat against Tayzzyronths reproduction, and that alone says a lot! Currently however, this Aeon is truly MIA, and not only that, but … the Path of this Aeon goes with absolutely no significant mention. (I wonder if the Path of Voracity is connected to the Leviathans since the Aeon is considered both at the same time?)
Qlipoth … do I even need to say anything about this guy?
Fuli, now this guy, I do have a few words about. He is always described as someone who will Preserve this world, but we know from Ena that … a minor Path is assimilated into the major Path, if both Paths are of the same subject … but Fuli and Qlipoth are still not assimilated, so whatever pursuit of Preservation Fuli is attempting, is different from Qlipoth’s Preservation, and that is such a suspicious thing. (I might also be biased about Fuli’s dangerousness, since I theorized that Fuli created the Stellarons.)
Mythus the Enigmata, we’re told about the dangers of the Enigmata, but … we also have to realize that the Enigmata is simply put … the epitome of Falsehoods, he isn’t actually endangering life specifically, but rather the History of Life. This is still rather dangerous in itself, don’t get me wrong there, but also … it isn’t a lethal act in itself.
HooH, now this Aeon I’m not too certain about, since we haven’t heard of anything bad about this. Even in the Simulated Universe when Equilibrium is practiced, everyone is in complete agreement of it. Implications of Equilibrium suggests that the most dangerous thing this Aeon can ever do, is simply Stand By as certain crimes were committed. It’s also suggested that they have such balance over the universe, that it maybe doesn’t ever need to do such things, and that everything will always be in perfect Equilibrium, and … the Aeon themselves is currently just … existing as is. Their presence itself has already done all of the work. … if I continue thinking deeper into it, I’ll be sending myself to the Asylum. In which case, this Aeon is actually dangerous enough to endanger us … the players mentality. XD
Aha the Elation, always seeking out the next Joke/Tragedy. A very uncontrollable Aeon, but then again … what Aeon is controllable? I dont believe this Aeon is a danger, but rather a severe risk of danger. Always chasing for the next Elation, they’ll go to any length they think is necessary to achieve such Elation … so what if that length is shortened? What if we appease the Elation, wouldn’t the increasing risk of danger essentially cease to be? The Elation can be countered, I can go further into the true dangers of Elation, but I feel like I’ve already typed way too much, so I’ll be letting y’all go now.
Maybe aeons ascended in aeonhood ( higher dimension than the universe of star rail ) and they can descend with an emanator or something like that or just they descend when they want to.
I mean either nanook is in the aeonhood and he gives order to his army through emanator to destroy etc or either he is blocked by hooh to prevent the destruction of equilibrium of universe or he is in the universe and he destroys multiple galaxies at the same time but we don’t about it.
Either way it’s indeed strange that we don’t know where he is or what he is doing.
I have my doubts about Qlipoth and Fuli. The prior because there is nothing major it has done that can be considered as dangerous in an universal scale. It has only built a barrier around the cosmos, presumably to protect it from something beyond the existing universe, and I don't think this is as dangerous as wanting to destroy it, intentionally or not. The IPC being corrupt in many cases is not a reflection of its aeon, as there are too many examples of followers of an aeon being not very appreciated by the aeon itself.
As for Fuli, it is probably the most impartial and unproblematic aeon. It has not involved itself in any major conflict or disaster, since its only purpose is to record the events of the universe. You could argue that its presence could be considered as a foreshadow of something major happening, but that's on any other external factor, not on Fuli itself. A scribe is not the instigator of a war.

Whats interesting is that the swords of Izumo (edict edges) seems to be a direct throwback to the herschers so I wonder if the concept exists within star rail or the aeons indeed are this universes version of the herschers

Terminus is more neutral. The aeon travels back through time, or rather traverse time backwards. Anything that Terminus witnessed had already happened in the future and soon to follow regardless. Terminus does not contribute to destruction and thus being a rather neutral Aeon
Too many the concept of the End may seem evil because it's the end of all life and everything, in reality the concept of Finality or basically the End is pretty Neutral. Once the End of the universe happens, a new cycle will be born.

Nihilty or nothingness existed before destruction and the creation of the universe so IX is definitely the most scariest aeons luckily enough this guy is so passive due to him treating everything as useless and meaningless
i would also argue that Yaoshi is dangerous (maybe not top 5) but for different reasons. rather than being a destroyer, they threaten the balance in an opposite way by eliminating death and destruction. uninhibited growth is just as dangerous as uninhibited destruction.
I would like to a see a massive conflict in which Nanook and Yaoshi are constantly fighting each other to throw off the balance in their desired way, but then HooH the equilibrium comes in and acts as the Rayquaza to their Groudon & Kyogre by putting everything back into balance, temporarily incapacitating both

Yes and no while kafka did say the mc is artificial info dumps and your say that aeons don't have physical forms that people can interact with. While I can see mc being created from DNA or data from a home world the problem there is most aeons home worlds are lost or destroyed. In my own opinion I think mc has some closer relationship with akievalie or the remberences because kafka said she used her spirit whisper to seal mc memories but she never show the ability to completely remove them.but mc remembers nothing about there time together.

I think Nous is an highly underrated aeon. The guy literally KNOWS and CALCULATES everything. He probably already knows his death date and who will come to kill him. You cant win against an aeon that is billion steps further than you. He can always drop your IP address in an internet argument. Absolutely terrifying.

Mythus doesn't really want to destroy all knowledge. It's in a sense the opposite of Nous. Nous gives concrete and precise answers to all things while Mythus thinks existence without mystery is boring so it obscures knowledge so that there's always something you don't know and can always be curious about exploring new things. If there already is an enigma then the enigmata's job is done.

There is no going near it or anything like that. Everything has a little bit emptiness inside them. Even aeons themselves. If you follow this shadow you will be falling inside IX. Thats what happened with Acheron and she survived and became an emanator. But most people arent as unfortunate and literally disappear from existence itself.

Yaoshi is also said to be dangerous and that's why the Aeon of The Hunt became an Aeon, to get rid of the problems and abominations created by the Abundance.
I believe yaoshi doesn't really have ill intention, they just give blessings to everyone who seek it. And it won't even surprising if they don't know their blessings is a curse at the same time.
HooH is also a big threat, but also not. They are reason of ALL events that ever happened in HSR, good and bad.

Definitelly thing Yaoshi should be there instead Aha. I mean Laughterer is definitelly super dangerous, but his prank seems to be on relativelly small scale (biggest harm we know he did was "just" blowing up half of planet. That's basically nothing). Yaoshi seems to cause much more harm just by having bigger sphere of influence and being more delibarate in spreading.
A bit late but might as well. Since the story is leading towards our eventual showdown with Nanook, it would stand to reason that we could face down other Aeons as well. Whether they be Aeons that we draw the gaze of and gain their powers like Qlipoth... or ones that we have to eliminate in order to progress the story like Nanook. Additionally, these fights could be simple tests of power or full-on fights to the death.
Me, personally... I want to off Aha. He and his followers seem like fully realized anarchists that will stop at nothing to satisfy themselves. And it's that level of motivation that makes him all the more dangerous. We've heard that Aha has the potential to pull off some really twisted stuff just for the hell of it. And what if one of our comrades gets roped into it and ends up dying? Well, we probably would end up facing him if that were the case.

Still find it wierd that Terminus the Aeon of Finality isn’t mentioned especially we’ve seen the capabilities of the authority of finality in both GGZ and HI3rd
The "finality" here is Nanook because he's the one who ultimately ends the universe in most of the possibilities Elio saw.
So far, Terminus hasn't done anything that causes any destruction to the universe, the only thing they do is move backwards in time and murmur a prophecy

And then Terminus the Finality. He knows when or how everything end, and you can't change it because it already happened. He may not be as dangerous, but he is the true inevitable.

Lan the Hunt would also be very dangerous for me. His sole purpose for existing is to kill Yaoshi the Abundance, and he will stop at nothing to achieve that goal. He hates Yaoshi so much that he will destroy anything standing in his way, and even if you're fighting alongside him, he does not care at all about collateral damage or friendly fire

I think all aeons are dangerous in their own right and the scale is enormous, take tayzzyronth for example, compare to other aeon it should be nothing (I mean it is only an evolved bugs that is admitedly not that impressive compare to other aeon) yet the effect still felt to current timeline of hsr and destroys a lot of planet
HooH and Terminus should be on the list.
I can definitely see HooH being quite dangerous but at the same time, they also uphold order and good things given theyre really only concerned with keeping things balanced. If im not mistaken in the simulated universe after the death of Ena the aeon of order, HooH was said to have taken its place in ensuring the universe order is maintained so like the balance it tries to maintain it will at times be dangerous and other times be benevolent. The ones on this list, at least to me are dangerous all the time because of their nature

GGZ has outer gods. Beings outside of imaginary tree that creates other universes and stuff. But they might or might not retcon them in the future. GGZ is not known well for a reason.
