I haven't painted for weeks. Linda this morning I find this video and I want to have a go. There is always something that you manage to inspire in me, your pure joy is infectious. Your terminology is fabulous. So many different methods. Explained so even I get it
Have fun!
Positive lifting is one of the best things that I learned from you. I use that technique in every painting I have done since I learned this and it’s a game changer.
Awesome to hear!!
Kristy, I LOVE COLOR! and do not have a favorite color. This is just the perfect lesson for me. It is at a pace that I can follow 😊. I am going to try my hand at it asap. I love your way of having fun and relaxing way of making beautiful art to be proud of. Please have more lessons like this one. Thank you ever so much.❤
Will do! There are already a couple like this!
I just fell in love with the half inch daggar brush... and daggar brushes in general! Sheer genius.
I hope that you deeply and truly realize just how helpful this video is. It’s just the right combination of providing a technical boost and sparking imagination and creativity. If you have not properly patted yourself on the back for this one yet, do that a couple times. It’s an absolute gem.❤❤❤
Oh gosh wow! Thank you for being so kind! I’m thrilled to know it’s been a helpful video!!
I finally realize press , drag and lift is not fast, also the angle of the dagger brush is very important. I can take my time to make it happen. Starting to get it, Kristi!
Yess it’s def a slower movement!!
On replay. Watching this has made me aware that I paint too fast. Will have to slow down.
No wrong way but it can be eye opening to slow down :)
I watched this yesterday - fantastic! I actually made a birthday card with a rainbow of leaves and a round brush! Now that was so much fun!
Linda H
Wonderful!
My 6 year old granddaughter knows "press, drag and lift". "LOOK GRAMMY, MY LEAVES ARE BETTER!!!"
💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻
Love love love the final piece - almost as much as I loved learning all the new skills you just shared with us❤
I'm so glad!
Great video, thank you it’s so helpful to see the slower movements.
I’m so glad :)
I love this video! My favorite things to paint are "Kristy" leaves? I have so many paintings of rainbow leaves, it's so much fun and so relaxing! You've taught me so much, thank you!
Wonderful!
After finding your channel a few days ago, I am now binge watching them. I am not an artist, but seeing your fun and interesting videos, I now want to try painting for my own personal enjoyment. Learning your techniques have been very helpful. I need help with placement of petals, leaves and stems to bring more interest to the eye. My placement just seems too symmetrical and unnatural.
Thank you for giving me an excitement for a new future hobby.
Welcome aboard!
Thanks again for sharing. I go way too fast for some reason. A ´get ´er done!´ attitude. Gosh I enjoy the slower pace.
I go fast too which is why I started doing these slower repeat vids :)
these leaves are so beautiful, I think I automatically clean my brush each time but I really want to try your method as it's so pretty 🥰🥰
You should!
I love making leaves to relax. Love your bold accents.
Me too! And thanks!!
Painting along this afternoon!♥️🩵💙💗💜
Awesome!!
Thank you for this!!!
You're so welcome!
LOVE! Thank you!
So glad!
Lots of fun leaves love it ❤❤❤❤thank you😊
You are so welcome!
This really helps!!
I’m so glad!
Thank you Kristy!
You are so welcome!
This is lovely 🥰
Thank you! 😊
I learn soooo much from your videos! So fun!! Thank you! I’m going to get these pens! ❤
I'm so glad!
Love it ❤
Am painting along...Press and lift, pres and lift...❤
Yay!!!
Thank you
You're welcome
Stunning! I'd like to learn how to double/ triple load my brush. Is there a video, or two?
You create beautiful leaves that are so colorful!! 🌈🥰
Thank you!!
@@KristyRice You're very welcome! 🤗😍
Really beautiful. I love your style. It’s quite different than mine
Oh thank you!
Love it. I can't get such colors with my paint.... Bought some new ones and we'll see....
Good luck!
Hi new to your channel.. is the dagger brush the only one you paint with? I don’t want to purchase additional items so I’m wondering if I can get the same effect with the normal round brushes?
Also any videos with the round brush?
Thank you !
So I do love a dagger but I use many others. What you’ll find is that you can create the same shapes with a round but likely will need an additional stroke in some cases:)
Yes I use so many brushes especially in the videos from the last year :)
I love the dagger brush, but you don’t explain how you turn the angle of it for different applications. I keep hoping to find a lefty for this type of tutorial. Thanks. ❤❤
For lefties you usually need ti add a small additional twist at the end of leaf strokes to get that fine point :)
im left handed and having a devil of a time getting this down. any tips cuz i can't follow what you are doing exa ctly due to handedness issue sigh
Wanted to know if you were aware that your voice is used in the kuretske Mother’s Day 100 set ad. I was curious because the price is very low. Want you to buy but not sure if secure site,
Umm what!? I was not aware. Could you send me the link? Email kristy@kristyrice.com
@@KristyRice I figured as much. How can I send it to you? And they are selling for 38.00 for the 100 set. That is when I was alarmed.
What is an "ex-beginner", please??
It’s the next level after beginner in my own words lol
🖌🍃💙💚💛🧡❤️💜🥰
😘😘
Have to say I’m not a big fan of the multiple repeats of the same strokes/footage.
I’m sorry but many in the community are so I will keep it going but not in all videos promise :)
