These beautiful Islands are 'exposed' to the elements, but the wintery weather makes the nice days..... all the more special!

I lived in Orkney from 1989 to 2006, watching this it saddens me to see places I recognize but no longer remember the names through time and i've lost the memory, I'll never forget growing up there though, it made me who I am today..

I so want to move there. I'm a writer of fiction and non fiction and I need inspiration to write plus a quiet yet dignified place w/ it's own beauty in nature. Less people too.

I only discovered your work a few days ago via Simon Booth's channel, but am so impressed by your approach to photography... Your passion, knowledge and ethics.
The fact that you don't pump out a weekly vlog seems to give your work much greater value, a bit like Simon Baxter's work.
I now look forward to your future efforts and am envious of your warmer seasons ahead... the current weather here in Scotland is dire,; Autumn seems to have been squeezed into a matter of days, the trees stripped bare of their colour and the bracken and other undergrowth reduced to mush...

go, go, go... when you are doing your island pilgrimage. Tell you what, well stop off there when we head to Lofoton! lol
I still get chills down my spine when i review that aerial drone footage above Ring of Brodgar (Stone circle).
Its a great RSPB place too - right up your neck of the woods!

Hi James's. I use the DJI Mavic - the first one. It has been to the bottom of a lake and still works!!! LOL
