I have everything except the maple syrup oh well I'll just use vanilla extract and a bit of water, my protein powder is quite sweet thankfully. I'll report back how it is if I don't forget 🫡.
Yea this is crack, just started to freeze it. You really don't need the maple syrup since it's pretty damn sweet, I needed a bit more popcorn but besides that yea very good recipe. (I'm using myprotein brownie flavor, good if you don't have salted caramel like me)
@@RahulKamat try it! it works great! i'm working on maintaining 130 lbs off. maintenance is tough! so i count every calorie. doing it in the microwave, you can use as much oil as you want. even without it, it's not too bad. (jen)
So glad you drank the syrup. I have been telling my aduly son about you. He was watching and laughed. Your tandoori chicken was fantastic. Love your recipe book.
Wow! Off to the store to buy popcorn for the first time in 2023! I am down 32 pounds since Jan 1…and this protein bar might become my goto bar! Thanks for all you do for us!
i also eat popcorn everyday! I just buy kernels from the store and pop them in a non-stick wok at home without any butter or oil. I like to add chill powder, salt, and zero calorie syrup after and its so good and very filling!
Nice! I find it's easier to explain to my clients that it's 10%+ rule for protein to cal ratio. If they are bad at math, just remove the last digit on calories and protein needs to be greater than or equal to! So, 450 cals becomes 45 and protein better be at least 45g! Super simple ;)
Rahul i came across your channel and i love the content! Me and my girlfriend are cutting and are going to try a lot of your recipes (she actually makes the banana cacao brownie/cake every week xD) Keep up the good work!
Made this today, very tasty! Popcorn isn't quite as crunchy as I'd like...I think the recipe would be even better with cheerios or puffed rice, it'll probably add some calories though. If you could make the end product a little less sticky I think it'd be great to turn this recipe into a caramel corn of sorts.
Can some explain how he gets 387 calories? My ingredients are 210 calories for 48g of PB2 120 for 1 scoop of protein powder 30 for the yogurt 30ish (at least) for 60g of syrup (15 calories per Tbsp, idk how many tbsp 60g is) 60ish (probably more) for the popcorn. That puts it at 450 calories for the whole thing, and im pretty sure I'm underestimating the syrup and popcorn. Its probably closer to 500 calories for the whole thing. Am I doing something wrong here?
@@RahulKamat They’re so good! I rolled them into balls after drizzling the chocolate on them and hardening a bit. So easy to grab for a treat. I also just pop my popcorn in a brown paper bag on the popcorn button in the microwave. Making them for the second time. I love the chewiness! Thank you Rahul! 🍿 🍫 🥜
Hi Rahul I have been watching your videos for a while now and I have to say your recipes are amazing!! Do you have a raw cookie dough recipe that is Low cal?
did you add more liquid to turn it into that thick consistency? what did you add? it would never just get that way if I was doing it with 1 4th of maple
Hi Rahul, your recipe is nice but as a Type II Diabetic who takes NO meds, i.e. Insulin or Metformin, I follow a Keto diet plan. I was a bit saddened to see that your bars have too many Carbs per bar. I would love it if you could come up with a Protein bar that was more Keto friendly. I bought some raw nut mix which I will chop up and add it to the recipe in place of the powdered PB. I have protein powder from GNC that I will also use nuts that are high in Fat like Macadamia nuts. FYI, I have found that Trader Joe's has a great selection of raw nuts at great prices.
@RahulKamat- love the recipes just came across your channel. thanks. Careful on the microwave popcorn . The bag has toxic chemicals when microwaved linked to cancer and the palm oil causes inflammation in the body which causes tons of disease. Even natural syrup sugar can cause inflammation. I thought this also in my 20s , that high protein was the way to go and didn't think of chemicals or even sugar and inflammation in the body. At the ripe old age of 30 wound up with pretty severe gut/ inflammation issues disease. There's a lot of great keto doctors , those that explain inflammation/ natural cures on RUclips. Dr Berg is one- give him a try sometime.
Not the protein or the syrup. Here is my list. Protein scoop: 120 Cals PB2: 200 Cals Sugar Free syrup: 120 Cals Fat Free Greek yogert: about 20-45 Cals
Is act 2 a scam too? I looked this up and couldnt find any pop corn with a label below 23 calories per cup. How could their pop corn have 15? Please reveal the secret! Love your videos by the way, amazing job!
Strawberry. I got a container of ON’s Strawberry and it tasted so bad, I almost vomited from the smell alone. It was so artificial-smelling, and artificial-tasting, it reminded me of strawberry milk medicine
Never use that crappy bought popcorn or specially don’t pop it in those bags! Make your own on top stove in pot or in silicone popper In microwave is safer than those just saying😉
Me it’s none of ingredients accept for popcorn and maple syrup so here recipe if you don’t car about calories or don’t have many ingredients 3 heaping tablespoons hot choclate powder add 1 table spoon milk add two teaspoons maple syrup mix then add popcorn put in a dish and freeze boom hits

You can just buy popcorn kernels and pop them in a glass bowl with no added oil in the microwave. There's no need to buy the prepackaged stuff.
Good point! I’ve never done that before

You are one of the few channels I watch at normal speed. Subscribed after watching your crunchwrap video. You have great hair too.

No plans for a physical cookbook but you could print the pdf!
I made it today and it came out great! Also, love your cook book!!🎉❤🎉❤
Woohoo I’m so glad!
I get so excited when you post a new video! I love that you used great value powdered peanut butter too. It’s way cheaper than PB2 and you get more! 🎉
It’s cheaper and has less sugar in it! Win win

Such incredible macro friendly recipes. I look forward to trying all of them out myself
You’ve read my mind once again 😳 I’ve been trying to think of a way to use popcorn for protein bars!

Can’t wait to try this & yes popcorn is the best snack. Will this be added to the cookbook as I redownloaded it & has not been added?
Yup I’ll add it!
Great idea with the pop corn

You’re right. My calcs were close to 450 too but with a little higher protein too. Still a great recipe :)
This looks AMAZING
Love this idea! Any reommendations for dairy free substitutes for the greek yogurt? (preferably not another yogurt)
Do they need to go back in the freezer when they are done or do you just put them in the refrigerator to keep them nice and solid?
I keep em in the freezer

Hi Rahul I have been watching your videos for a while now and I have to say your recipes are amazing!! Do you have a raw cookie dough recipe that is Low cal?
Thanks for thinking about vegans with the protein powder, would you use soya milk as a sub for the greek yogurt?
A soy yogurt would work better as a sub instead of using milk
You get goat status for this one. 🐐
Appreciate you 🫡
Yum!!

Nope just keep mixing, whey protein turns into that consistency and you don’t need to add more liquid

Okay, but I'm just gonna eat this in the bowl. lmfao. I have all these on hand. Gonna make it!
kiwi protein powder doesn't go with pb, or blue raspberry

PB2: 200 Cals
Sugar Free syrup: 120 Cals
Fat Free Greek yogert: about 20-45 Cals

how many grams of popcorn is 3 cups, exactly?
