Great to have your take on this van! Will keep watching for future videos. I have converted one e transit to passenger van for my business. Hoping for something soon from manufacturer that will accommodate 15 passengers.
Can you provide information of how you have the second raw seat attached to the bottom of E-transit and where do you get the window installed? I am planning to do the same.
@@kwmlin02 covered entire floor with cargo lining material provided by Ford then covered that with 2 1/2 inch tong and groove pine boards giving me ample areas to secure where I wouldn’t run into battery. used screws into lining where couldn’t go through floor , for keeping things stable. secured better where there was no battery underneath to worry about hitting. have a friend that does window tintingexperienced with window installation Projects did a good job cutting out the metal and installing the windows.windows were ordered from company that sells camper van windows.
@@kwmlin02 ordered my windows from Van Windows Direct. I ordered mostly windows that had sliding open. Their windows are made to fit so no cutting needed exact fit.
¡Excelente! Otro encuentro con Lorena. If the largest battery version really can get 273 miles from a full charge, one could turn it into a great DIY camper. It could give the Ford e-Transit some real competition. I loved seeing Callas! He's a happy pup!
Gracias! Hola, sí, ¡Calla es la estrella! How is your Ioniq doing?

First time I've seen one of these. It'll be interesting to see if any of the van-life converters will try and make a camper van out of it. I'd presume at this point, the biggest obstacle would be weight. Thanks for the video.
I see a fair amount of interest in eSprinter van conversions but so far I don't know of anyone who has tried it. I think the range reduction due to the extra weight of the camper conversion is a major reason why. I've driven my EV from California to Brazil and along the way I learned to maximize range, generally getting 25% more than the rated range. I'd like to try my hand at this in an eSprinter that has been loaded with with extra weight as.some reviewers have done. If I can get acceptable range with a loaded eSprinter it might encourage people to go ahead and build out eSprinters as campers. Did you test drive a van with extra weight in the back? If so, who can I contact at Mercedes who can set me up with a weighted van for a test drive.
Ordering my E-Sprinter 2024 next week for my NEMT business. Will upfit for lux interior. (Need the flashy!) Would appreciate your connection. Why did my dealer quote me 86K?
Wow, that's a huge cargo van , and decent price. Wish they had a smaller option.. and with a pass-thru between driver area and cargo would have made it a good camper van...
Both a smaller sized version and passthrough / separator wall delete are available. At least here in Germany, and I'd expect that to be the same in other markets.
I was so excited to see this van but now that I think about it I’d really like to wait until they come out with a self-driving version of this. It’s hard to believe MB brought self driving to the US first, and now they’re so far behind everyone else.
Pointless. Tesla has only authorized Ford and Rivian to use their Superchargers so far. Why put a NACS port on a Mercedes van so it can't even charge from CCS1 stations?
One of the best EV presenters I have ever seen !!!!!
Continually impressed! 🥰

That would be great! Thanks :)

@@nathanbrumbaugh8545 Thanks. Did you cut your own windows? Or find a company to do so?

Great revue, but I wonder what the range would be if it’s kitted out as an RV

I’ll wait for Tesla’s van.
You'll be waiting a l-o-n-g time.
Disappointed that we’re still seeing new vehicles in the US without NACS charging ports.

Thank you for the nice presentation. Reminds me of @Saabkyle04 :)
