Trooper Jackson (I'll never forget his name) treated me with respect, gave me a ticket for 88 in a 65, and gave me some valuable wisdom. I did some serious reflection and sold the sport bike and got a Harley. Trooper Jackson probably saved my life. Utmost respect. I pray he is well and wished I could tell him "Thank you"

This guy played it smart. Didn't argue, didn't play the fool for the cops. He hired the attorney not to dispute anything. He pays the ticket. The attorney then keeps it off his driving record so the guy's insurance company never knows. The guy just has to not get a moving violation for 60-90 days, usually 60 from my experience. Clean record.

That's a HUGE difference when talking small gadgets, a gun and small equipment. Now for every full second in a quarter mile equals about 10 mph roughly. So I would assume torque (faster time to "top" out) due to engine performance by buying the right sh*t for the Charger is the root of this mathematical problem here verses the weight of a couple small items you listed.. Rule #1, understand what a "sleeper" is on the highway and you'll understand math like a pro....

You see how respectful and calm the guy was when he was pulled over. The police officer seemed mad at first but the second he saw his cooperation the police officer was cool.
This is absolutely true. You can hear the adrenaline in the cop's voice when he first walks up to the window, but the driver essentially pulled himself over. The cop's siren was not working and the cop could not have caught the driver. The driver pulled himself over as soon as he noticed the lights, and acted appropriately. The cop deescalated as the driver responded APPROPRIATELY.
Also, most cops really would rather not arrest someone or even write a ticket if they don't have to. There's no such thing as a quota and both, especially arrests require so much extra work (paperwork mostly for a ticket). It could easily just come down to their mood and how they're treated by you and obviously, the crime.. Some are really by the book, even if they're otherwise very cool and even this approach won't help and a small amount really are just "RESPECT MY AUTHORITY" and do look for anything they can to ticket you on. I think this guy should have been cited, 155mph is insane but given his cooperation and honesty, maybe cite him for a lower speed so that he doesn't get his license suspended or whatever if you want to be lenient which they did at first (cited 98mph) before changing it even further.
I got pulled over after moving back to the states from Germany. Explained to the cop that I had been living over there for a few years and got used to doing 150mph on a regular basis. He was sympathetic and I got off with a warning. Definitely slowed down after learning what the potential punishments were.

They have a job to do, and there's no reason for anyone to make it more difficult. It's likely the reason I've ended up with tickets in fewer than half of those. That includes a warning for 103mph. I also drive a Charger SRT (capable of 180).

He must’ve been the nicest state trooper ever, because he rode my tail all the way until we past an exit, then he just simply left through the exit. I was FREE!! You see how respectful and calm the guy was when he was pulled over. The police officer seemed mad at first but the second he saw his cooperation the police officer was cool.
This is absolutely true. You can hear the adrenaline in the cop's voice when he first walks up to the window, but the driver essentially pulled himself over. The cop's siren was not working and the cop could not have caught the driver. The driver pulled himself over as soon as he noticed the lights, and acted appropriately. The cop deescalated as the driver responded APPROPRIATELY.

Also, most cops really would rather not arrest someone or even write a ticket if they don't have to. There's no such thing as a quota and both, especially arrests require so much extra work (paperwork mostly for a ticket). It could easily just come down to their mood and how they're treated by you and obviously, the crime.. Some are really by the book, even if they're otherwise very cool and even this approach won't help and a small amount really are just "RESPECT MY AUTHORITY" and do look for anything they can to ticket you on. I think this guy should have been cited, 155mph is insane but given his cooperation and honesty, maybe cite him for a lower speed so that he doesn't get his license suspended or whatever if you want to be lenient which they did at first (cited 98mph) before changing it even further.

I got pulled over after moving back to the states from Germany. Explained to the cop that I had been living over there for a few years and got used to doing 150mph on a regular basis. He was sympathetic and I got off with a warning. Definitely slowed down after learning what the potential punishments were.

In 46 yrs of driving, I've been pulled over many times, and always, always, always, speak to the officer respectfully. They have a job to do, and there's no reason for anyone to make it more difficult. It's likely the reason I've ended up with tickets in fewer than half of those. That includes a warning for 103mph. I also drive a Charger SRT (capable of 180).

He said as soon as he heard me get on it he got on his Tahoe “man that thing didn’t budge, we don’t have anyone on the east side of town. You should have kept going.” Got off with a warning it was two of my buddies.
The police office did a great job here. Respectful, could tell he cared about everyone involved, and his demeanor elicited a cooperative attitude from the driver.

He literally put an open bottle of liquor back into his trunk next to a loaded firearm. I don't know if Nevada law differs, but at least from my knowledge where I live possession of alcohol or a handgun under the age of 21 is illegal, and if the alcohol is open (even if you're over 21) in your vehicle, it will most likely be confiscated. This dude seemed cool as hell, obviously worried and excited to start, but as he assessed the situation he was very collected. This kid should thank the officer for being so rational. Also props to him and his gf for both being very calm and reasonable.

Bruh, one time I was in my Lexus ES350, and I was going clean over 120 mph when I past a state trooper. When I tell you the way my heart dropped, I felt like I was going to jail. I immediately decelerated to 70, so the trooper could catch up to me. I looked at him through my rear view mirror, and I swear to god I was as pale as a ghost. He must’ve been the nicest state trooper ever, because he rode my tail all the way until we past an exit, then he just simply left through the exit. I was FREE!! I can relate. I was doing 84 or 81mph in a 45 mph, but I didn’t run from the cop. She was a white cop, only gave me a ticket, and let me go home. Here in Georgia they had just passed a super speeders law, and it could’ve been really bad for me. All I had to do was community service at a recreational center cleaning up, pay about $600 for my lawyer, and wait a year for my court date, and nothing is on my record because of that.
