is the egg valve still on it’s just not recirculating the exhaust back into the engine? trying to do the same thing with my engine but it’s a huge pain to even get to it but i could block off the pipes to the intake manifold and it could work??
It works on some cars as they only have a sensor checking if the valve opens or not and have no way to check if air is effectively going through the valve. On those cars, blocking the pipe is the best way to delete the EGR. Some cars have fancier valves so it might not work on your specific car.

As a state inspector I recommend this even tho it technically isn’t legal it’s a must to keep all that carbon buildup out your motor
