I did a blow through from the bed for my IB24 ... I didn't want to give up the back seat .... IB sounds incredible and the 24 is A BEAST !!!! If any of yall are thinking IB its the best SQ for real .... and more efficient so you need less power
Your ib setup is crazy, I was thinking about ib for my f150 but I was so afraid to have water coming in when I pass little river or large water area on the road. Well done man.

Nice work, I am planning to do the same setup in my truck, except I plan on putting my subs under the front seats. Few questions/concerns I had before I start cutting holes etc: 1) How is the road noise in the truck at say 30,45 and 75-85 mph? 2) Where did you source the aluminum for the sub-woofer rings. I have a place called Alro metals in my area but I dont think they have that thick of a chunk of aluminum. How much was the piece of aluminum? 3) How do you like the sound of the Infinite Baffle compared to a enclosure in the truck? Can it play loud and shake the whole truck or is it more Sound Quality? 4) Did you build this for a SPL or SQ? 5) Would you do this IB sub setup in another vehicle
1. There is no real road noise when the subs are in place. They actually muffle the sound. I don't have loud exhaust or mid tires either though. 2. I sourced the aluminum locally. As for cost I'm not sure. 3. Infinite baffle (as long as you have the right subs) sounds really good and plays really low. It plays a lot lower than sealed or ported but not as loud. That's why you need cone area. Most do dual 15's or larger. It is more sq oriented. 4. Sq 5. Yes I would. Any vehicle would work and many do it in the trunk of a car.
@@theplatinumcaraudio Just the answers I was hoping for, especially the road noise. I have a 2007 Tundra DC that I am building for SQ competition, I do not have anywhere near the space you have in the rear from the floor of truck to bottom of the seat. I currently have 2 Arc Audio 8" subs in a sealed box they play well but I think to be able to get the truck to be competitive my only choice is the IB setup, as a box for any bigger subs will simply not fit without a lot of modifying or removing things which I cant do at this time.
You have done a super job on the stereo install. I love the aluminium baffle plate for the IB subs.

Man nice! Are u have push more power to them like that or is it normal?
Infinite baffle needs less power than sealed.
Wow

@@9TGSX what subs are you looking to use?
@@theplatinumcaraudio Still shopping around, but the Acoustic Elegance brand is at the top of the list so far in either a 15 or 18" variety
@@9TGSX the stereo Integrity Sql would be a good choice as well
How you liking the amps
I've got 2 gladen 105c4's and 2 gladen 1200's in there now.
Quick question... Are you using an aperiodic membrane on the subs? Or just a weather proof membrane.
It is just a weatherproof membrane.
🔥🔥🔥
Great build man. Give me motivation to do my silverado. Does the bass output change with the windows all the way down?
Thank you for your time.
It is louder with the windows down.
@@theplatinumcaraudio Thanks!
Where can I get those IDMax subs?
Amazon, woofersetc.com and any other online dealer or a retail store who carries them.
What is the website where you got the foam.
Which foam? The deadener?
