    Wonderful video. Just purchased a Z6iii and so excited. Do you usually use the 3D mode for portraits? Do you use VR? If so, which mode? Thanks for sharing.

    God blessed me with a son who I love very much but if I had a daughter, I would want her to be like you! Smart, beautiful inside out, and most of all loves photography like I do! By the way, my son also loves photography like I do. God bless you Lizzie and keep doing what you are doing!

    Upgraded to Z6iii from D750 and I was blown away. I took portraits pics from f-mount 24-120 f4 lens which was not expecting to be so crisp and amazing.

    I've had mine a month now. I have shot two weddings so far. Beautiful Nikon images, great camera to hold and use, focus is awesome. I'm so sick of the "dynamic range" whining, pixel peeping idiots. I have never had a client pixel peep, complain, or even care what camera I am using. Thank you Lizzie for this professional review!!

      One question 😊 is it too heavy to use in events ?

    • @jasonwhinnery4134
      @jasonwhinnery4134 4 месяца назад +2

      @@lior2538 Sort of a difficult question because it will depend on the lens. To me the body is not heavy at all. But I am using the Nikkor 24-70 2.8 which is a heavy lens.

    Lizzie, I’d love your thoughts.
    I just made a huge mistake of watching a bunch of RUclips videos where they review the Z6 III. Conundrum city.
    I recently got a Nikon Zf and I’ve been looking to aquire a second backup body, that's affordable and takes my Z mount lenses. Honestly, I’ve been leaning towards the Nikon Z6II, but with the recent price drops the Z6III is not much more and is appealing also. It would be a financial stretch though, and would leave me with no room for glass.
    However, if I sell the Zf, I could get the Z6III, some more Nikon glass and breathe easy.
    Here’s the thing, though. I really feel attached to my Zf. I sold my beloved Fuji XT5 to get it. But maybe it’s time to move on from nostalgia. I still have my Fuji X100V, which is beautiful and I’ll never sell that. So maybe that’s my refuge if I must have nostalgia.
    I love my Zf, but the Z6III looks like the best camera Nikon has made in years. And I’ve been shooting Nikon since 1984, when I was gifted a Nikon FE for my 13th birthday. Which again, goes back to why I love the Zf. It’s spectacular. But so is the Z6III.
    I really can’t decide. Sell the Zf & get the Z6III or keep it & get a Z6II? I know it’s not the fastest but my subjects are slow moving targets.
    For context, I shoot portraits, headshots, and occasionally a family session. Posed, poised, calculated.
    But my camera pays part of my rent. It’s a piece of my livelihood. And my heart.
    What would you do? Anyone in here give to the Z6 III from the Zf? And anyone in here vote I should keep my Zf and go Z6II? Have both?
    I have analysis paralysis.
    Head : Sell Zf, get Z6III. Move into the present. Get glass.
    Heart: Keep Zf, get Z6II. Rock both.

    I just bought Z6 II and the image quality it produces is much better than my belowed D7500. All lenses works without issues with Z6 II using FTZ II adapter. I do not use a video capabilities so the Z6 II is a game changer for me after using DSLR.

      Hows the autofocus speed and accuracy with the adapter?

    • @BrakDanych-f1w
      @BrakDanych-f1w Месяц назад

      @@aman681 I am using native Z lenses mostly. But I must say that AF accuracy is very good. As an example - my Sigma Art 50-100 f1.8 works very very badly with my Nikon D7500 - it misses so frequently using center AF point that I decided to do not use it with D7500. The same issue was with Sigma 17-50 f2.8. Additionally border AF points causes that this lenses misses focus always. I thought that there is a problem with my AF system in the D7500 body, buy after connection Nikkor AF-P 18-55 (the well known kit lens with stepper motor) all problems with AF magically gone away (tested with few of them as I have 5 of it). After attaching them (Sigma lenses) to Z6 II with FTZ adapter everything changes a lot. There is always room to missed focus - I made some static portraits on an event in the school (lightning condition was quite poor) with Sigma 50-100 f1.8 and almost all photos was in focus - the distance was long but, as I remember only one maybe two shots was missed from more than one hundred taken. Sigma 50-100 f1.8 is a heavy lens and AF motor has hard work with it. All my native Nikkor lenses (Nikkor AF-S 50 1.8, AF-S 18-105) works very well, but You must take into account that these aren't focus speed masters. I thought about Nikon Z6 III but for me, truly, the Z6 II is much more than I actually require. The main advantage of the Z6 II is the image quality and what can be done with RAW files. When I took some night sky photos, using cheap Viltrox AF 24 1.8 lens, I was shocked the quality of the image I get with ISO set to 6400. Is there any place where camera body can block your creativity now? - probably no. I must say that this camera is very good camera. I used it also with Sigma 100-400 on the child football match - 1000 photos taken and not more than 50 missed focus, where most of this misses was caused by my hands and nervous panning what caused the focus point go to the place I do not want to have it. If You have and old F mount lenses it will be good start point using them with an FTZ adapter, but if You have any Z mount lenses, mixing all with the body has some ergonomic issues and this should be taken into account.

    With the A7V, Sony won't even come close to matching the capabilities of this camera and will have another pathetic launch just to avoid cannibalizing their own market. They'll make it so that if you want to shoot in raw video or simply 4K at 60fps without a crop, you have to buy a camera that costs at least $4,000, along with all those other ridiculous things Sony does. I just hope Nikon grabs enough of their market share so that they don't even think about doing something like this with the A7V.

      @@dubenick The fact that Sony limited the video capabilities of the A7 IV to avoid cannibalizing their own video camera market has been discussed for ages. No one has hurt me; in fact, I've been using Sony since the A7RII. Please stop saying nonsense.

    That lens nearly cost more than the camera... You tie that lens to a box of crayons and it produces a work of art. Thats what you need to know. The Z6 ii actually has better dynamic range but with that lens
