    "The right amount of glue" is a very subjective term, and depends on whether you have long nail beds or short ones like me.

      Have you tried it yet? Just make sure you really want them on that long bc gel glue is very secure 😅 well, with the right prep and everything they could last a month.

    I have trouble making the nails look real, they always look like they r going to pop right off and they are not very blended near the cuticle, any tips?

    • @beetlesgelpolish
      @beetlesgelpolish  3 месяца назад +2

      Here are some tips to help you achieve a more realistic and seamless result:
      Nail Preparation: Ensure proper nail preparation by gently pushing back the cuticles and lightly buffing the nail surface. This creates a smooth canvas for the application of the artificial nails.
      Nail Size and Shape: Select artificial nails that closely match the width and shape of your natural nails. This will help them blend more seamlessly and appear more natural.
      Nail Glue Application: Apply a thin, even layer of nail glue on the artificial nail and press it firmly onto your natural nail. Avoid applying excessive glue, as it can create gaps and make the nails look raised.
      Blending at the Cuticle: Use a small brush or an orangewood stick dipped in acetone to gently clean up any excess gel or polish near the cuticle area. This will create a smoother transition between the artificial nail and the natural nail bed.
      Nail File and Buffer: After applying the artificial nails, use a nail file and buffer to shape and smooth the edges. This will help create a more natural and seamless appearance.
      Top Coat Application: Apply a thin layer of top coat over the entire nail, including the artificial nail and the natural nail. This will help blend the surfaces and provide a more cohesive look.

    The glue never flows to the top of the nail, even when I put excess. Why please?is there a reason

    • @beetlesgelpolish
      @beetlesgelpolish  10 месяцев назад +9

      Hi, this is because your natural nails are too curved. Please try to add suitable glue on the front of the nail, and then put some glue on tip to apply it.

      Also it is a gel or gel glue, not just regular nail glue, so it is a different consistency!

    What is the difference between a flash cure and full cure? Is a full cure supposed to make it 110% dry and flash makes it somewhat? Like it’s tacky?

    • @beetlesgelpolish
      @beetlesgelpolish  7 месяцев назад +6

      A flash cure and a full cure refer to different stages of the curing process for gel products.
      😀A flash cure refers to a quick curing step that partially dries and hardens the gel, but it may still have a slightly tacky or sticky layer on the surface. Flash curing is typically done to create a stable surface for further nail art applications.
      😀On the other hand, a full cure indicates that the gel has been completely cured, leaving no tacky or sticky residue. During a full cure, the gel is fully hardened and dried, achieving its maximum durability and strength. This is the final stage of the curing process.
      🥰🥰Hope this help!

  • @no_war_2023

    It looks great! But why do my nail extensions are looking up? I went to this Vietnamese nail salon a few days ago and they did a new set for me that included nail extensions + gel that was supposed to look naturally, so when the work was done my nails looked up, not down like yours. I feel like my nail tech did them totally wrong, despite that she used the same method as in your video 😢

    • @beetlesgelpolish
      @beetlesgelpolish  7 дней назад

      Thanks for your feedback! It sounds like the extensions may have been applied at the wrong angle or with too much product, causing them to tilt up. 🥰

    Those kinds of nail tips won't work for my nail-bed. While most ppl nail-bed is outward, mine go inward. So, the curvature does not lay flat. (I also have a short nail-bed)
    It kinda inda sux, but I've since found nails that work for me. 😊

    • @beetlesgelpolish
      @beetlesgelpolish  6 месяцев назад

      You can use the same nails for both acrylic and poly gel nails. The main difference lies in the application process and the type of product used.

    Hi my gel nails are too large for my pinky and there’s no suitable sizes for my pinky do I cut the gel nail to make it smaller and if I do how do I cut it?

    • @opheriayu
      @opheriayu 2 месяца назад +1

      1. You can file around the edges of the nail base. Near the cuticle area and side walls until you have the right size.
      I'm assuming you mean the size is too large.
      2. Another way is to move the tip toward the middle of the nail. As long as it covers the side walls so you don't have stress points.
      Then, you can fill in from near the cuticle to the tip to hide the end of the tip and balance the nail 😊
      After that, you can cut down the tip to the right length and shape as needed.
      I hope that helps you. There are other channels that show these options 😃

    Can the beetles top coat work as the “nail glue” from beetles? Anyone tried that before that works? I completely spaced out on ordering my 5 in 1 beetles nail glue, but in videos they say it’s just clear gel or top coat, any suggestions for substitutions or does top coat gel polish work as the glue for the gel extension nails??? Please 🙏🙏🙏 someone help!

    • @beetlesgelpolish
      @beetlesgelpolish  7 месяцев назад +1

      While the Beetles top coat may provide some adhesive properties, it is not specifically designed or recommended as a substitute for nail glue. Using the top coat as a substitute may not provide the same level of adhesion and could result in premature lifting or detachment of the extensions.😁😁Hope this help!
