Hi everyone, thanks for tuning in! We've seen many of you asking about how to remove polygel nails. For guidance, please watch our removal tutorial video at ruclips.net/video/RWENfvD79JU/видео.html. We hope you find it helpful! :)
@@chimerewalker Absolutely, you can use the products you mentioned prior to applying the base coat. However, if you don't already have them, there's no need to go out of your way to buy them. Just ensure that your nails are clean and free from any oil, dirt, or moisture with alcohol before applying the base coat.

This is a REAL TUTORIAL for beginners! Very thorough and you explained the actual method. It was common sense to wait for the slip to evaporate before sticking that glob of gel on to the nail but I didn’t realize it until you’ve mentioned it in your video. I would’ve been scratching my head why everything’s wasn’t sticking. I just ordered a kit and I wanted to see if I can even do it. I’ve watched so many tutorials but this one is the most informative one I’ve seen so far! Thank you!
Yes definitely wait until the slip solution evaporates, or else you will have little bubbles in the gel too. Thank you so much for your order! We cannot wait to see your creations :)
🤯🤯 so you start the form about 1/8 away from cuticle, and slide ever so gently, and then a light seal down at the end?!?!!!! I saw it and I can’t wait to try that on my friend tomorrow! Thank you so much!
This video was very beginner friendly, thank you. I jus decided recently that I'd like to have my nails done and beautiful but after going to a salon and getting told that what I wanted done would cost around $70 😮😮😮 I got my stuff, thanked them and left. Started watching videos on acrylic nails and poly gel and started ordering a few things. Gonna be trying this out this week when my poly gel starter kit gets here.
Indeed, polygel nails are quite suitable for beginners. If you're looking to save money on salon visits and enjoy some personal time doing your nails, I highly recommend learning this skill. It's a great new ability to acquire! ☺
Avoid acrylic if u can. I used it for years. It's hard to work with and even harder on your nails! Gel is easier on your nails, lasts just as long and looks great. It also doesn't smell like rotten asshole, unlike acrylics lol.
This is the best application of hybrid gel that I have seen and I do believe I have seen almost every video about hybrid gel. I am learning and want to see how many people do it. This video is the best at talking you through it. 😊
the best tutorial I've seen thus far. I've done Polygel on my hands three times and they haven't lasted more than a day because I would press the gel on with too much pressure. I, now, understand that I don't need to press it all the way down. I can't wait to try again.
We're happy to hear that you found our tutorial video useful. Indeed, it's best to gently press the polygel onto your nail for secure application. For more insights, please watch our next video on troubleshooting polygel application here: ruclips.net/video/OrlBthKXHl8/видео.html

@@KiratAujla820 Hello and thanks for subscribing! 😊 It's a fantastic question. The thickness of the polygel really depends on your goal. Are you aiming for nail extensions or just an overlay on natural nails? 🤔 For extensions, you'll use more polygel. HI Natasha, it's great to hear that you found our explanation helpful and that you enjoyed our video. We hope that you'll continue to find value in our content and stay tuned for more helpful tips and advice. Thanks again for your kind words! 😃
Thank you for this very informative video!! When you mean cure it for both sides, do you mean flipping the nail so the under part gets cured for 60 sec too?!
Yes, you can cure both sides by flipping the nail. We usually recommend this to beginners, as they might apply too much product and may not be sure how to check if it's fully cured. If you're just starting your polygel journey, curing both sides ensures thorough curing. Once you gain some experience and know how much polygel to apply to each nail and the appropriate curing time, you can cure just the front side since you'll have a better sense of the correct product amount. Hope this clarifies your question :)
Hi, great tutorial! I have a question: If the dual form is really curved on the underside and it leaves a gap between the nail and the gel after curing, am I doing it wrong or is it the dual form?
It could be a few things! If the dual form is too curved or not the right size for your nail, it may not sit flush, causing gaps. Make sure you're using the right size and shape for your nails. Also, if you're not applying enough pressure when placing the dual form, it can lift, so try pressing down evenly but gently. Lastly, check the amount of gel you're using-too much can cause the form to shift, leading to air pockets. Try adjusting these and see if it helps! 😊 That’s why we offer both flat and curved dual forms-flat ones are great for those with a flatter nail. You can check it out here: glowtips.co.uk/products/flat-style-dual-nail-forms?srsltid=AfmBOorEhEAvw936irhFFHRLKPF4eRrP6AmMg1FGtQN1FoofS6lcPjx6
Hey there! Thanks for the compliment on the video! 😊 We typically cure polygel nails under our nail lamp for 60 seconds. Can't wait for you to get your kit and start creating!

If you have to do a second coat of polygel for spots you missed do you have to put the base coat on top of the existing polygel or just add the polygel on the already cured nail?
You can definitely apply the second coat of polygel directly without a base coat. Even after curing, the polygel remains slightly sticky, so it should work well. I hope this clears up your question! :)

I’ve bought the polygel kit from glow tips and I’m waiting for it to arrive, the one thing I’m worried about is the nail sizing! The video says that it needs to be bigger than the nail but then it also warns not to get polygel on the skin, but if I choose a dual form bigger than my nail then the polygel will cure to my skin - do you have any tips, please?
Hello, thank you for choosing Glowtips and showing your support! We appreciate your order, and we hope it arrives promptly. When it comes to selecting the right size for dual forms, we suggest opting for a slightly larger size, especially if you find yourself between sizes. The key factor to consider is that the dual form should adequately cover the side walls of your nails. For a visual reference, please check the video starting from the 3:51 timestamp. During the application of polygel onto the dual form, it's important to apply gentle pressure. Pressing too firmly could result in the gel overflowing onto your skin, which is why we discourage using a small dual form that doesn't fully cover your nail. By choosing a size that provides proper coverage, you can achieve the desired results without the risk of excessive gel spilling onto your skin. We hope this explanation clarifies any concerns you had about selecting the right size. If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please don't hesitate to ask. We're here to help.

Hi, you could use your slip solution to wipe it off too. Slip solution has alcohol content in it, so after you cure your polygel then dap your slip solution with a lint free cotton to gently wipe off the tacky layer. Hope this helps :)

The other thing i didnt realize was placeing the nail 3/4 on and THEN sliding it up to the cuticle 😅 i keep being left with extra exceess pushed out the sides lol. And last very helpful tip ill be using is making the sides thin and ghe middle thicker. Thanks for doing this video for us

@@glowtipsofficial subscribed! Thank you. Could you show in the video how thick the polygel has to be? I think I do it thin or too thick.
@@KiratAujla820 Hello and thanks for subscribing! 😊 It's a fantastic question. The thickness of the polygel really depends on your goal. Are you aiming for nail extensions or just an overlay on natural nails? 🤔 For extensions, you'll use more polygel. Check this video ruclips.net/video/LcTzTwpIL_M/видео.htmlsi=DcI2oij8r4AGc87Z&t=246 to see our method for extensions. For overlays, take a peek at this other video ruclips.net/video/g4FvxL7Zd9Y/видео.htmlsi=6_jxwIIdtu9RBcSy&t=279 .
Practice makes perfect, and soon you'll nail the right amount for each nail. If you apply too much, just remove the excess, and if it's too little, add another layer.
Also, our troubleshooting video here ruclips.net/video/OrlBthKXHl8/видео.html might be super helpful. Keep at it, and you'll be a pro in no time! 💅

Thank you for watching, I am glad that you love the result on your first trial already :)

Hey I love your Polygel great job on this kit ❤️
Thank you so much
Hi, great tutorial!
That’s why we offer both flat and curved dual forms-flat ones are great for those with a flatter nail. You can check it out here: glowtips.co.uk/products/flat-style-dual-nail-forms?srsltid=AfmBOorEhEAvw936irhFFHRLKPF4eRrP6AmMg1FGtQN1FoofS6lcPjx6

Hey there! Thanks for the compliment on the video! 😊 We typically cure polygel nails under our nail lamp for 60 seconds. If you're using a lamp from a different brand, I'd suggest checking with them for their specific curing guidelines, as it can vary between manufacturers.

@@glowtipsofficial my order came! Im finding that no matter how little I use, my poly gel never cures in the middle of my nail, the top cures but it’s squishy inside - I’m not sure why though!

What kind of alcohol do I need to wipe off the sticky layer from the polygel? I bought some polygel myself and it has a tacky surface even after I cured it 3 times, I also use rubbing alcohol instead of slip solution as I do not have any, what should I use to wipe off the tacky layer? 🤗
Hi, you could use your slip solution to wipe it off too. Slip solution has alcohol content in it, so after you cure your polygel then dap your slip solution with a lint free cotton to gently wipe off the tacky layer. Hope this helps :)
I use acetone nail polish remover to get rid of the sticky
