Everyone, read The Song of Achilles if you haven't, I know the hype is huuuge but it's for a reason I promise (and after it breaks your heart, which it will, read Red, White and Royal Blue, it's a perfect recovery)

@@rosakq2 it's a re-telling of a Greek mythology story. It's about the romance between Achilles and Patroclus and most of it takes place during the Trojan war
"The Midnight Library" is genuinely amazing. As someone who has struggled with similar things as the main character, it is such an interesting perspective and has an amazing message of living without regrets!
I feel like you would enjoy “The Invisible life of Addie Larue!” The main character, Addie, does what she has always been told not to do, make a deal with the gods that answer after dark. Addie sells her soul (“you can have it when I don’t want it anymore”) in return for being immortal, free from a forced marriage, and from the small town she has been living her life. The devil gives her what she wants but makes it so no one can remember her (the moment they walk away, the forget she ever was there). It is 300 years until Addie stumbles into a hidden bookstore where there is someone who remembers… This book follows multiple timelines (Addie’s past, and her present), and is definitely a book that I feel like you would enjoy!!!
@@isabellaa.4643 I agree, the main character had like no personality and the book was only interesting when it focused on one of the other side characters.

The Sky is Eveywhere by Jandy Nelson (author of I'll Give You the Sun) is heartbreakingly beautiful, All Your Perfects by Colleen Hoover is also another heartwrenching literary masterpiece
I absolutely love ‘The Family Upstairs’ by Lisa Jewell it was so good. It is told in 3 perspectives, 2 in present and 1 in the past which explains why these things have happened. Ava has the literal best book taste, and like i always love her recs...VIBE
I said it once, and I’m going to say it again: The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern. The structure. The writing. The characters. The beauty!!! It is my favorite book ever.
Agree! I read this book recently and it was amazing! The writing is so lovely
Im sorry this was months ago, but do you have any reccs for books like that because it’s my favorite book too!😭
perfect music for the background so whimsical and calming
I haven’t even finished the video about to recommend Orbiting Jupiter and then I see your shelf and literally bawl!!! I love that book so much! 😭🤍
The Sky is Eveywhere by Jandy Nelson (author of I'll Give You the Sun) is heartbreakingly beautiful, All Your Perfects by Colleen Hoover is also another heartwrenching literary masterpiece
Any Kristin Hannah books are so good!! Specifically Winter Garden, Nightingale, Homefront, and Four Winds
I absolutely love ‘The Family Upstairs’ by Lisa Jewell it was so good. It is told in 3 perspectives, 2 in present and 1 in the past which explains why these things have happened. It was so good and I read it so quick. I really recommend it. It is a thriller/mystery which gets really good by the end.
All the bright places will always have a place in my heart!! I read it in high school & felt so struck by it as it was one of the first books that had ever made me sob 💙
You should read Red Queen! It’s the best Ive read. It’s SO suspenseful and has a crazy ending! You are the best ❤️
Yess! Another book video!!
I love this video Ava! Definitely cool to see other people’s book recommendations. My all time favorites is “Frankenstein” by Mary Shelley (this book isn’t that cheesy Frankenstein story we grew up hearing, it’s much more meaningful) and “The Stranger” by Albert Camus (existential theme)
adding all these to my list! also you should read red white & royal blue and the a court of thorns and roses series, they’re my favorite books right now
“The light we lost” and “one day in December” are books you pick up and cant put down. I 100% recommend
What is the light we lost about?
The Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren was super good! Gave me Beach Read vibes, so I think you would like! Also loved Daisy Jones & The Six (Taylor Jenkins Reid), The Hating Game (Sally Thorne), Happy & You Know it (Laura Hankin), and Such a Fun Age (Kiley Reid).
Yes the unhoneymooners is such a great book and the seven husbands of Evelyn hugo is also such an amazing book.
A book that broke my heart was A Thousand Splendid Suns. Highly recommend😭
AVA THR FILM BROKE MY HEART I WAS SOBBING AT 4AM IT WAS SO GOOD YET HEARTBREAKING

A THOUSAND BOY KISSES is the best and most heartbreaking book ever❤️🥺
just finished the handmaids tail and have to say it’s a worldwide bestseller for a reason, it was so well written and it covered so much yet introduced some super interesting ideas, first book i’ve given 5 stars in a long time
I would recommend " Maybe you should talk to someone" , because I feel it has something for everyone. I believe it just resurfaces some important messages we need to hear from time to time and helps us connect more deeply with ourselves and others
Yes! I finish it today and I second that. Amazing book.

"Where the forest meets the stars" by Glendy Vanderah. I just finished it, and loved it. It's got a mystery, a romance, some thriller vibes too. It's very emotional and poignant as well. It's quite popular on Amazon, but I rarely ever hear mention of it on booktube. It's probably one of my favorite books I've read this year. I very much recommend it.
I swear Ava has the best book recommendations and honestly I could use some good recommendations right after now
Ahh I can’t explain how much I love books.
It’s so extremely nice(
