I am getting a divorce that I did not choose or ask for. I just found myself trying to take responsibility for my soon to be ex wife’s problems. That relationship is over after 24 years. She stole $110k from our business and got me $410k in debt and kept the $. I didn’t want a divorce because I made a covenant commitment. She ended it and it was a horrible relationship. I have been using this series to make sure I don’t ever get back into a situation like this.
Some once told me if you don’t walk away from the relationship when god give you a sign then he gone make the relationship walk away from you and that really stuck with me♥️

To know your purpose, it’s the dream you have that aligns with his word. To recognise god’s voice I recommend watching Robert Morris’s videos on god’s voice
I’m asking these same questions.
Me and my ex we started our relationship without God, we did things we were not purpose to. We realized it but read the Relationship goals book by Mike Todd and it was really convicting. I personally thought we can work things up and walk with God but He broke up with me yesterday. My heart is really broken and it’s not easy but l pray that God will restore my brokenness

One really good sign that a relationship needs to end is when it's abusive and toxic with no signs of any changes for the better...Such relationships are NOT of God and they're NOT His ideal.
If you're in such a relationship...Get out as fast as you can and never look back, get closer to God and let Him guide and direct all of your steps, words and actions.
God is all you need!
What if you are married and figured out how toxic and abusive it really is? My fault for marrying without God being number 1 or even number 10 in my life then.
I cried, I laughed, I listened, I pondered, and was encouraged throughout this entire series. I thank God that he allowed a friend to share this message with me. About two hours ago I was in my bfs car crying for a whole 2 hours because of issues we were having.. and I was just praying to God to tell me if this relationship was meant to be. I had felt like God never listens and was frustrated asking him to just "speak" to me. Literally. Once I calmed down and finished my tearful prayer Or really breakdown. I came inside and got on RUclips typed in "when to know when a relationship needs to end" and this video wasn't even the first but a couple videos down... i don't know why or what told me to click on it but TRUST AND BELIEVE God listens because this has made me feel so much better and I truly feel like God directly spoke to me. I am grateful and have now subscribed! I will take this word and use it in my very own relationship. May God bless us all

I had a boyfriend who I started taking to church and after we broke up he continued to go, we went separate ways and didn't talk for a while but a few years later we met up and found ourselves in the same position, the same amount of time sober and both following our walks with God, he's a great lifelong friend now and if the timing is ever right I know God will make a way for us too of it's in his will. I’m the bad person in this scenario. I had a wonderful person and I didn’t reciprocate the same love. I can testify, as the bad person, just how much sense this makes. I was definitely number 3, a red flag. I gave myself to God last year and I pray for a second chance. 🙏🏼

If I watched this before. I would probably not feel the pain that Im feeling right now. From now on, I won't enter a relationship without God's permit. I saw this right after the 21 days of fasting and prayer, but GOD was speaking to me during the 21 days that it was time for it to end.
My bf left me through text messages lol. During this Coronavirus quarantine smh. But to God be the Glory, I got Confirmation by Fasting and Praying!! God knew he wasn't my heart's desire for a Man. I finished this amazing series on yesterday! I prayed and asked God to reveal any relationship that wasnt for me. Not even an hour later the guy I was dating called and told me he cheated on me. He was watching this series also and it made him want to tell me the truth. This heartache is temporary and I know God has better for me. I will not get in another relationship God hasn't put me in. I will continue to enjoy my singleness until God brings who has for me to me!

I found this video 2 days after my bad relationship with someone . And it relates so closely .. my ex partner was avoidant , didn’t want to communicate or be honest with me when something was wrong . They’d keep saying nothing was wrong when i wanted to talk so for 7 months they kept up this behavior and our relationship ended horribly . I remember weeks before the breakup I prayed to God that i was hurt my partner was confusing me and I asked him to reveal to me if the relationship would work or not .. and it didn’t 🙏 Relationships need to end and that’s ok

Believe me god brings clarity, for couple months I was confused as to what my relationship was and today I woke up with prayer asking God for clarity and simply the answer to my question "what are we and to let me know if this is worth it" .....couple minutes later my now ex and I got on a call and my questions were answered.
Thank you for this I am in shambles but this brought me peace. God I trust will bring me to a place and I will enter no more relationships without him. To anyone hurting including myself LET GO and LET GOD

I know how you feel because I was in the same situation. I was in a friendship that robbed me of my voice. But believe me, you have enough courage in you to take it back, since you are much more powerful than you think. What gave me the courage to stand up for myself and end it was me being physically distant from the person. We didn't meet or text as much, which was intentional from my part. This made me realize how happy I was in her absence. But when we met, I was sooo annoyed. This feeling increased the more I saw her, so much that I was just done with the friendship. I was so done that I wasn't scared anymore to say something. I was so done that if I had had to meet her one more time and acted like everything was cool while that wasn't the case for years, I would have gone crazy. So believe me when I say you can do that! All of you guys can!

Took me a couple of failed relationships that went no where to really realize that putting God in something instead of before something is never going to be the right choice. My current girlfriend and I are having some problems and I was suggested by a friend to watch this series. And instantly was reminded of how I first met this girl. I prayed a whole week after I first met her before persuing her. I had doubts in my head but God like the pastor said, gave me peace and understanding. The problems we have right now are revealing a lot of hurt that I had inside of me because of the way I was raised up. Despite the outcome of what happens to our relationship from this point and on, I know that God meant for us to be together, atleast for a period of time. I am madly in love with this girl and I know I want things to go a certain way between us, but I know that Gods will is bigger than mine. I trust him and am glad in his will whatever that may be. Pray for me y’all!

Amen!!! I really needed this message. I've been thinking I could save my friends but the Holy Spirit is the one that saves and transforms people. The first time I watched this I didn't listen. Now a year later I'm rewatching this series and it helped me end relationships I had too much emotional dependence and gave them power over my life. So now I'm learning to ask God if it's ok to pursue a relationship before getting into one and be completely honest in all my relationships.

Started my relationship with a christian man, went to church, watched some sermons online together, prayed together every night, and it still ended as one of the worst relationships ive ever had. I feel very let down. I really thought God wanted us to be together since he put him into my life, but i came out a worse person and he came out better at least. Perhaps God used me to make him a better man for someone else. I feel forsaken but i remember God is not finished with me yet! Praise God

I have had so many bad relationships because I didn’t focus on God, I really just want to follow God and know when I have truly found the one God has for me. I've been sinning for three years. I was doing fine then I met someone. We broke up. Then I met someone else and recently broke up again. I wasn't seeing the pattern but they resemble each other. Not men that added value to me. They just lusted over me and because of my weakness I gave in. But now I'm feeling so empty. I feel like I've wasted so much time on them. I've lost myself. Literally the same thing happened to me. I've been charged with strengthening my financial health and this journey led me to this series. It didn't seem to link to my situation at first but now I see how my relationships with people, food, money and God really effects me positively and negatively. Funny thing... I had been praying as well about sending my future husband to me and keeping all others away. One night I had a dream about this man who was being nice to me. It wasn't anything weird, or anything, strictly platonic, he was just nice. The man even has these personality characteristics. The next morning I woke up and opened up RUclips... Why was I drawn to this series showing in my feed because Pastor Mike looked like the man in my dream! God is GREAT! KNEW JUST what I NEEDED to HEAR and SEE!

I have been bonded with my ex through a horrible traumatic accident. In the end, it got abusive and totally crushed my spirit and self esteem. I have been crying out to God and I know I need to let the relationship go. These bonds are hard to break. I am trying to let this go. God help me break these chains. My girlfriend and I decided to part ways last night because I came to love God and she didn’t. We had one last sleepover (wouldn’t recommend after a break up and I know it’s not recommended in general, I’m learning), but this morning I got up early, packed her things, and peacefully sent her on her way. It’s tough saying goodbye to someone you love but I know God has a plan for me. Thank you Father Mike for an amazing series!

As a result, I've isolated myself. So from the very first sermon in this series to the last, various aspects of my struggle have been highlighted and explained from a biblical perspective. God's perspective is everything! I believe the healing process has begun!

I just ended a marriage to who I thought was as willing to do as God says and after 6yrs there was no cleaving. 4 years in during a seperation God blessed me with a new job and higher pay in a new city. I was apprehensive to go without my wife and kids. Up to that point I hadn't been able to consistently financially provide ALL needs and because this opportunity, I gave it another try. I moved us all and began fresh but it was the same thing but on a heightened scale. It even shook my belief in form of me going and searching and searching for higher spirituality because i was not seeing any change. I held on and held on and the more I held on the less I prayed the less I read my word. .....it still hurts but the pain in my loneliness started me back to praying. Im still praying as I let go.
