My girl broke up with me after 5 years of knowing each other and 4 years of dating. She cut me off and told me to never talk to her again or try to contact her. The same day I lost my degree and wasted two years of my life chasing something that was taken away. I’m so hurt and lost and feel abandoned. The only thing that has been getting me through life are these videos, I ask if you see this comment to pray for me, cause I’m chasing faith and god now, but I’m in the storm right now.

To be honest if that girl was in my country, she would hv committed suicide cz here if u date a man for that long, her parents, friends, society would be givin her advice to leave the relationship. Since 18, I have been judged by peers due to my singleness. I have been called weird, cold. I was told that “I am wasting my youth.” I must admit that I have been pressurising myself to find a boyfriend, not for me, but to stop those comments.
I’ve always struggled with relationships and I have found the explanation: I just simply love being single. I enjoy my alone time, not having to answer to anyone, not being worried if I’m being cheated on. I like focusing on myself. I will not lie, I eventually do want to marry, and that guy will be special because I will “want” him, not “need” him. That guy will complement my life, not be my life because I simply love being single.
Ladies, it is okay to be single. Do not fall into what society expects from you. If you want to be in a relationship then so be in one, but do not force yourself into it.
Today, at 21, I accept myself & pray to fill myself in so much of God’s love that peoples’ opinion & perception of me will not affect me.

Ignoring other ideas, never informing yourself about other Religions,
let alone Atheism. Thats all very, very bad, tbh.
Even old Texts say it: „Only a Fool drinks Water from just one Fountain.“
Its well known that its healthy to inform yourself
and that its actually resembles more ‚Weak Faith’ if you never listen to
Atheists and other Religions and such. If anything, it shows weak Faith in your
own Religion, if you dont ‚dare’ to question it, question yourself, question those that feed you Info.
And to say it brutally: If you just get fed Info from just 1 Source; your simply naive and gullable. Easy zu manipulate.
So go and check out many Sources and Factions; you live in a Rich, diverse World,
so do not limit yourself and also dont let anyone limit you.

For all my single brothers and sisters watching this, I do want you to know that being content in singleness does not mean it's wrong for you to feel s3xual attraction. If there is one thing God has taught me about singleness it's that that is not something to be ashamed of. Being content in our singleness does not take away our humanity, or even our desire to feel loved, it just means we surrender those feelings over to God and trust that he will give us what we NEED.

The fact that he mentioned the more you’re single the better you’ll be when u get married hit home. When u know how to love yourself the right ain’t nobody can love you less and you settle for it. Once you love God he teaches you how to love yourself, and a person that love his/herself knows how to give love and what to expect from love.

knowing Jesus deeply, is sweeter and more powerful than having the best of the best man here on earth. its just a struggle, I know. cuz we have our earthly feelings and wrong focus/perspective.

"something new". That's the wrong mindset to get into dating. Use your time single to work on your gifts and maximise them, and learn how to depend on God.

For the last few weeks I’ve been a little down for being single. All of my friends were single however they all have met someone but they are settling. In yesterday I was running listening to Steve Harvey motivational speech and this sermon came on (All God). I made a decision to listen to this and I mean I have been made the better! All I can do is say Thank you Lord for my singleness and not settling! Let me keep running and enjoying my singleness and learn who I am so I can know my place, purpose, identity and make parameters during my time. I am so thankful for this!!!!

I never understood why people would always say that ''You have to love yourself first before you can love someone else.'' and i clearly understand that now at this season of my life. I gave up an engagement december 2017 of 2018 and i obeyed GOD. because i wasn't ready me and my ex didn't know our purpose and we was just 2 hurt people, who was rejected , hurt and finding ourselves. i have so much peace now. he is in a new relationship now . moved on quick and im perfectly fine . being SINGLE , FINDING MYSELF AND PURPOSE. I don't need a relationship to feel happiness. the joy of the lord is my strength and i a m waiting for the right one. CELIBATE TOO

Thank you for sharing this! I just ended an engagement and the relationship lasted 5 years, so it was extra painful. Found out the hard way that you are spiritually tied to those you're physical with. It takes much time and healing to get passed. Be careful who you tie yourself to, because that knot sure is hard to undo.

I am 61 years old been married 3 times and they all ended because of me. I immediately go from one relationship to another as I don’t want to be lonely. Only time I had singleness was in college. This sermon hit home really hard. I right now is in another relationship living with them as I cannot be alone. I have caused so much hurt in my relationships because I never had my singleness. Thank you pastor for Gods word.
I am praying that whoever reads this, will be reminded of the love bestowed upon us; the finished work on the Cross- the work of God’s amazing grace. You are loved, always. I am praying that in whatever circumstance or situation you are in right now, that the Lord of all grace will find us faithful, regardless. Amen.

Sometimes you start off loving youself but then after a very long time of being single you start to think that maybe something is wrong with you and that's where the knit picking begins.

I think the essential component to this was not just singleness but rather the component of singleness (whole), that is, 1. One with God 2. One with God. Living the singleness outside of God leads to knit picking. "They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength." So it's not about inability to deal with opposite sex but taking time to commune with The Lord. 🙏
That's what I'm going through right now.....
I'm 36, single, have a degree, own a home but I'm single. God timing is best. I refuse to be ungrateful because God hasn't granted me this one thing. Making adjustments in my.though process and will enjoy my singleness.

I have a crush on someone and i let it blind me. Hearing this made me think i have to focus on myself. Of course i acknowledge this crush and my admiration for this man, but I won't let him live in my head rentfree anymore. I need to use my singleness to seek God AND find Him. I’m 29 and single. I was in a 5 year relationship and the guy broke up with me on the phone coz of distance and he quickly began dating another lady. He came back and said he was so stupid and at that time I was fasting and praying for a husband. I was prayerful but desperate as well. I just thought that this is it. He is the one for me. And before that I prayed to God saying I will not be intimate with my future partner, I will wait and be pure in His word. But when my ex came back into my life I didn’t commit to that mainly coz I didn’t want to lose him. So I put him first instead of God and sadly I was okay with that. Now he broke up again with me after a year of dating. I just feel pressured now to get married and desperate. After watching this, I praise God that I’m single coz I need to know God’s anointed and destined place for me, purpose, provision, identity and parameters. Thank you Lord.

Currently where I’m at right now after being single for 3 years while drawing closer to God each day and building myself as a young man to take care of myself. When you know who you are in God, you pay way more attention when you date. But out of encouragement to my young people, even though kissing and holding hands to me isn’t a bad thing, while dating be careful because all types of physicality can make it harder to move on and choose whose best for you.
I dated someone for whom I put my dreams on hold for 4yrs. Now that I am single, I am doing all the things that I wanted to do specially working on my self. Ejoying this season, Thank you Yeshua🤗

Edit: Wow, it's been almost 2 years!! GOD IS SOO GOOD, YOU GUYS! I'm still single, but he really opened my eyes and showed me what I need to learn first before being able to be in a relationship. I've been able to grow in my identity and in my purpose, but it's not over yet and I will keep on running the race and one day I'll see somebody running next to me.

I’m 32 and God let me experience to be broken so he can repair me little by little. It was hard but I can say God is with me every step. I’m single and I’m ok with that bc I rather be single and happy than being in a relationship and lonely. God took me out of a bad relationship with a man who didn’t love me. @@joanpearson854 that’s great always keep your faith up. When my ex broke up with me I felt so lost and broken. God has repair and still is. God has given me the strength to keep my self up. I has learn to let go what is not good for me and I am learning to let God decide for me what is good. The best thing is to learn from my mistakes. Now, I don’t let anyone do the things my ex did. I easily walk away from situation that are bad. I feel stronger and I do things more for self. I never stop to think about me and my life I’ve always helped my ex to go up in his life and encourage him to be his best. But I forgot about my self. I’m not sure how old you are but the advices in an older person in their 3rd generation are the best to put us back in line. Life is a blessing. Most are dying to see the light.

I use to be miserable because I was single. When I started working on myself and building a stronger relationship with God I started to love my time alone and take advantage of it. I have learned I rather by single and happy and wait for the right person than settle and miserable with the wrong person and be stuck. Am 22 years old, my mom got married at 22 and my older sister (1 year older than me) also got married at 22, I felt like what am I doing wrong why can't I keep a relationship. The other day I felt so down and "lonely" because I'm not in a relationship right now. I felt like I needed someone in my life, but this message just uplifted me. Singleness is not loneliness. 🙌🏾🙌🏾
I'm in a growth group, and it was strange to me at first because I'm the only single. Yet God PLACED me there for a purpose, not to 'single me out' but because it's what I needed, and what THEY needed. There is no hiding behind 'rose colored glasses' and some of them are on their 2nd marriage, not completely healed from what went wrong from the 1st. I've discovered that THERE'S NOTHING WRONG with having a deep desire to be connected to another person, but I have to ask God daily ' Am I the right person, for You?' We have to learn to stand on our own, our spouse could die unexpectedly... that doesn't make us any less valuable to God. Even if we have the right business partners, the friends, the mentors, a husband/wife, children... we can still FEEL lonely... because we're lonely for GOD! He is the only one we have, in every circumstance!

It’s been years since I have revised this sermon today. During that time, I was looking hard for a relationship. I was always praying to meet my ‘proverbs-31’. And there were moments when I just thought, ‘God if I can have this relationship with this girl now. It will make me complete!’ But God has led me back here, this week, back to this message, and it spoke to me in a whole new level. To cut things short, I am genuinely happy, (for the first time), in my current singleness, and I’m ready to head out to the deep, to what God has called me out to do! Hallelujah!

Why doesn't the church talk about this though? I've constantly seen marriage placed on this holy, otherworldly pedestal and every single person is desperately trying to get out this season like its a terrible disease. I hope messages like this are continued to be preached through out churches and people feel more content in their singleness. Most churches I've encountered have become nothing but marriage breeding grounds where people don't even want to develop as an individual first, which is sad. I have struggled with this myself which has led me to go to a more all inclusive, welcoming church that is not so incredibly focused on relationship and child status. I truly believe God is not so focused on our relationship status and loves us just as we are!
Sadly, it's American society. We do the best we can, and it's good that you know the difference. We must remember that God loves the church and we can't give up on God's vision while we are on this earth, that is not for God.

This morning was extremely tough for me. Just got out a 7 month relationship(yesterday, it’s fresh I know) that I thought I really wanted. I was that female you talked about who wanted to teach him the word, even with his rough past. I wanted to be his healer, I wanted to save him. I prayed for him. Prayed for our relationship. Our relationship needed maintenance. I was ignoring all signs, and praying for things that I shouldn’t even be praying for. You said it best, we date out of depression and not destiny. Trying to fill voids only god can. I really needed this. I’m using this series to help me keep going. Day by day. Thank you.

I was the same way, but God can only fill in the empty void in our hearts. It's not our place to be in a sticky situation, but we do have to pray for those people. I use to be the kind to tend to the broken hearted, but I learned the hard way that bad people tarnish good character
