Watching this Series AGAIN in 2022! 😌 I’m single for the 1st time after a 17 year long relationship. I met my Ex husband at 18yrs old, Married at 23. Then, suddenly single at 34. This ending has been one of the MOST challenging things I’ve experienced but I forgive Him, I am claiming healing & deliverance from things that are not healthy for my heart, mind & spirit. This one and ESPECIALLY the single, but not alone sermon is absolutely fantastic. I went through a 3 year relationship, it ended mutually and was great the whole way through but it was time to go our separate ways. Afterwards I had 6 hard years of SEEMINGLY bad stuff going on all the time. I say seemingly because in hindsight it was one of the greatest things God did for me was out me through that. Once it all turned around, the single but not alone sermon pretty much describes the last 5 and a half years of my life. Staying single and not dating ANYONE this entire time so I could figure out who I am again and I have spent all that time with God and it has done WONDERS for me on the inside.
I don’t want another relationship if it doesn’t remind me of God.
I know that right, God has the best person just for you, and they won't be perfect.

Mm. Wow wish I’d stuck to my standards or made sure they were secure. Didn’t even KNOW they weren’t secure before I got in. Didn’t know how insecure *I* was before I got in. it’s ok, but now I’m still looking when I’m older because of this. 🙄
@@elizabetho395 you are exactly were you are for a reason, I have learned that things get sweeter as we get older. We are wiser more patient less anxious and sure of who we are. I think that we can see clearer on the type of man we choose to give that precious time to because we have done the work on ourselves so dealing with anyone that choose not to work as hard as you to better themselves is not worth your time. ❤

I genuinely thought I was destined to be alone or that God wanted me to be alone. I thought no one would ever want me or that I wasn’t good enough.
Joanna I feel the same way. I have had best friends walked out of my life and been rejected constantly. So I blame myself. I really needed this.

This is my first time listening to one of this guy’s sermons and when I tell you a service hasn’t touched my heart the way this did ever before. I’m a 17 year old obsessed with the thought of being in a relationship with worldly desires and worldly expectations but that me is over. I used to wonder and sometimes cry when I saw all of my friends in relationships and say why not me Lord? Why am I being left out? But I’ve realised I’m not ready yet. I’m still insecure about my image I still don’t know my purpose I jump outside of my parameters I haven’t grasped my identity and I haven’t fully let God take the pen and write the book of my life. This video opened my eyes properly for the first time and I am so thankful to the Lord for showing me this and for creating such an amazing preacher. I hope that one day I do have my other person but I also pray that before that person I am ready.
Hi Bertheli, I know the feeling when I was younger. I'm 23 now. I know you may feel bad about not having a relationship right now. Just continue to be the best person that you can be. Get to know different quality guys with good families. Get to be their friend first/ well that can be best. You may never know how the relationship may blossom. If you plan to wait until marriage, DO that. Do not falter. You don't want any regrets. It may be hard now but just try to keep the faith.

(KJV) which is sunset Friday to sunset Saturday, was "sanctified" or "קָדַשׁ" which means to 'set apart for holy use' Gen 2:3 "And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it..." (KJV), and thus Adam and Eve kept it holy. Sin is defined as transgressing or breaking any of the 10 commandments as per 1 Jo 3:4 "..sin is the transgression of the law." (KJV). So, when Satan sinned, he actually broke the 10 commandments for indeed angels also have to keep them in heaven Psa 103:20 "Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments..."(KJV). Infact, the saints, described as those that "..keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus." (Rev 14:12, KJV) will keep the 10 Commandments when the new heavens and a new earth are created including keeping the Sabbath holy by e.g gathering to worship the LORD as per:
Isa 66:22-23 "For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make...it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD." (KJV).
Heb 4:9 "There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God." (KJV); The word 'rest' is translated from the ancient or traditional Greek Manuscript word 'σαββατισμός'
(Sabbatismos) - A Sabbath, Rest. The 7th day Sabbath still stands active today for GOD'S people to observe.
I am not going to force you to keep Shabbat holy, however, if in disagreement over this matter, i highly encourage to do a study on it so as not to 'end up coming short in the end' (if above the age of accountability) as per:
Heb 4:1 "Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it." (KJV).

If you do not mind me sharing; the Sabbath, "..from even unto even, shall ye celebrate your sabbath." (KJV) which is sunset Friday to sunset Saturday, was "sanctified" or "קָדַשׁ" which means to 'set apart for holy use' Gen 2:3 "And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it..." (KJV), and thus Adam and Eve kept it holy. Sin is defined as transgressing or breaking any of the 10 commandments as per 1 Jo 3:4 "..sin is the transgression of the law." (KJV). So, when Satan sinned, he actually broke the 10 commandments for indeed angels also have to keep them in heaven Psa 103:20 "Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments..."(KJV). Infact, the saints, described as those that "..keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus." (Rev 14:12, KJV) will keep the 10 Commandments when the new heavens and a new earth are created including keeping the Sabbath holy by e.g gathering to worship the LORD as per:
Isa 66:22-23 "For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make...it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD." (KJV).
Heb 4:9 "There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God." (KJV); The word 'rest' is translated from the ancient or traditional Greek Manuscript word 'σαββατισμός'
(Sabbatismos) - A Sabbath, Rest. The 7th day Sabbath still stands active today for GOD'S people to observe.

I'm a Muslim but this was so good! I loved the message and it resonated with me so much. Plan on watching the entire series.
I felt like so much of what he said was what I was taught to believe in, but never shown in practise, because of culture, the fear of being left behind, and judgements of people in society. Thankyou for reminding me that God has greater things in plan.
It is also ironic since I prayed to Him two days ago to send me something that would help me understand why I had broken up with the man I had loved and asked God to bless me with a few months ago. And today I saw this.
In Quran, there is a verse that I was reminded of by listening to this sermon:
"They plan, and God plans, and surely God is the best of planners."

I was recommended this sermon three years ago (when I was 17) while I was going through a rough patch, and I never watched it because I thought, "Oh, I'm too young to be learning about how to actually handle relationships, I'm just going to live my life." I am 20 now, and I still have the same relationship issues and randomly thought back to this message. I came across this message cause I was down just begging God asking him why am I always the one alone among my group of friends in various ways and he finally led me to an answer through this. Thats what the youth needs, their attention span is so short and im sure that young people dont want to sit around listening to a 50 yr old paster humming or shouting. They need modern day preaching and a little bit of entertainment along with it to really listen and understand

Hi there,
If you do not mind me sharing; the Sabbath, "..from even unto even, shall ye celebrate your sabbath." (KJV) which is sunset Friday to sunset Saturday, was "sanctified" or "קָדַשׁ" which means to 'set apart for holy use' Gen 2:3 "And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it..." (KJV), and thus Adam and Eve kept it holy. Sin is defined as transgressing or breaking any of the 10 commandments as per 1 Jo 3:4 "..sin is the transgression of the law." (KJV). So, when Satan sinned, he actually broke the 10 commandments for indeed angels also have to keep them in heaven Psa 103:20 "Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments..."(KJV). Infact, the saints, described as those that "..keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus." (Rev 14:12, KJV) will keep the 10 Commandments when the new heavens and a new earth are created including keeping the Sabbath holy by e.g gathering to worship the LORD as per:
Isa 66:22-23 "For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make...it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD." (KJV).
Heb 4:9 "There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God." (KJV); The word 'rest' is translated from the ancient or traditional Greek Manuscript word 'σαββατισμός'
(Sabbatismos) - A Sabbath, Rest. The 7th day Sabbath still stands active today for GOD'S people to observe.
I am not going to force you to keep Shabbat holy, however, if in disagreement over this matter, i highly encourage to do a study on it so as not to 'end up coming short in the end' (if above the age of accountability) as per:
Heb 4:1 "Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it." (KJV).
Exo 20:8 "Remember..." (KJV).
