Herbert von Karajan, conductor
Berliner Philharmoniker - Видеоклипы
Karajan is the monumental conductor who gave great happiness to classical music lovers! Almost all of his recorded and or real concerts were all precious and shinny!
I wish I could do absolutely anything in the world half as beautiful as this.
Mike Kevitt what a humble, beautiful and respectful comment. You will, I’m sure.
That's what Tchaikovsky himself had in mind when he was writing this serenade, in his case, for Mozart.
@@Alienapiano I thank you. I just now discovered your reply to me.
I've been starting on writing philosophy, trying to lay ground work right now. Ever see the sub-excavating they do before putting up great buildings? I don't know if my philosophical writing will be "beautiful" like a musical composition like Serenade In Strings, but it is to be of utmost practical use. Actual philosophy is useful, like machines, AND like aesthetics such as music, not like unintelligible meanderings or counter-productive nihilism so often found as philosophy.
And, let's not overlook activities like extraction industries, mining, drilling, etc., heavy processing, engineering and manufacturing, the stuff where a person gets sweaty and grubby all over, not just his hands and pants. That's where all this nicer, more pleasant and cleaner stuff comes from. It all supports each other. It's all productive and needed, including the affirming of values and of positive emotions provided by aesthetics.
Again, I thank you for the positive value of your reply to my comment.

I tried to delete this copy of my reply to you, Ana Sanchez, which I made by mistake. My original, above, is definitely good enough. I can't find a way to delete the copy. (And I don't know how to put an accent on the 'a' in your last name. My apologies.)
what a combination.. world class musicians playing The most gorgeous music.. gotta love Tchaikovsky 🙂 x thankyou for sharing..
Superbe interprétation de cette sérénade, l'un des plus beaux chefs-d'œuvre de Tchaïkovski, Karajan et ses musiciens berlinois sont incomparables dans cette œuvre !

Ummm...Mozart, Bach and Mussorsky would like a word with you lol.
@@nope_no_nunya. He said " one of the greatest composer" not "the greatest of all". So yes he is right, Tchaikovsky is one of the greatest composer in the history.

I think the Russian anthem is based on this song
Improbable
the third movement is played much too fast!

Slow enough for me.
