Even if the opponent had monsters out, you could still OTK with attacks. You just need to clear the Backrow. Chimeratech does not only gain 800 attack for each fusion material, but also an ADDITIONAL ATTACK FOR EACH OF THEM! ...unless the opponent has something like Marshmallon in which case you're outta luck.
GalacticGod you do know it's another way to use the OTK but with a trap. You just need the trap Powerwall. When you are taking damage you can use that trap to send cards to the graveyard to reduce the damage even more. It's tricky but you will just have to use it with the right timing.
this was my deck back in the day, but i would normally wait for 2 turn summon overdragon its effect destroy future fusion and itself and adds one more machine to your graveyard. then overload
Future Fusion is by no means broken for Its effect. Its the milling that made it crazy with combo options. Technically the mill is the cost, special summoning was the effect. I could be wrong, but anyways, what deck would be the most broken if this card was at 3? Considring that you can get this back using Junk Synchron+Fusionsynchronist, I'd assume the deck that can access it the most would have fewer need for It.
I still use this but insted of future fusion i use magical merchant and then have like 2 overload in the deck its acually pretty good since you can search him out with gokipon and danipon
Something interesting I did with the over dragon otk was use the Gadget monsters along with a few support machines ((jinzo, reflect bounder ECT)) and I had two combos ultimate offering along with Gadgets to make 3 utopia along with one Trap Master ((before it was banned)) or used the over dragon OTK it was mean and i had fun with it

I mean you could do this a different way because lets say its your second turn and you set a chain material set and you draw fusion gate just ativate fusion gates eff and chain chain material and boom you go your chimeratech dragon
if you had a black salvo in your hand you can future fusion and make sure you put a mechanicalchaser in the graveyard. blackrose off that and then overload fusion. it makes it safe.
I still play an Overload Fusion in my Machina Gadget deck after some discarding for Fortress and losing any other monsters as materials etc then once my graveyard is full and Cyber dragon is in there I drop it and pull out a 8000+ monster and if I'm lucky play Limiter Removal. It's perfect! (So long as an attack goes through...)
Well it used to use d fusion too back in the day in case the otk failed but that card is banned too xD and if future came back yes me personally believe with Jinzo returner and fortress and black salvo and a few other cards it will be topping again to many plays ot wont be even the new cyber support that will make it good in opinion of this legendary deck :3
The only way I can see you stopping this otk is hand traps, or a very well timed activating of a banish null, ultra-block or effect stopper like skill drain.
i play this now. as a fun deck. i usually otk turn 2 if i have a decent hand. i have made a 26,400 attack Chimeratech before which is the max my deck can do because i play 33 machines. 3 gokipons 3 magical merchant and 1 overload fusion. my deck can. also win without playing chimeratech and more or less beat them down with machina fortress and cyber dragon infinity. i also play black salvo to blow up the field with a black rose before i go for the otk with chimeratech.
Back in my PS2 days i use this deck, chimera OTK. only requirements are overload fusion, future fusion and giant trunade and its GG. and to make it easier i used 2x magical hammer? and 1x reload and 1x card of destruction
Today you can still have a super Chimeratech Overdragon... You have to use the trap Chain Material, banish ANY number of machines from Anywhere, then summon an union monster (who will be destroyed instead of overdragon in endphase), wait one turn and try something to either clean up the opponent's field or have piercing damages on your dragon ! ....But yeah, it takes three turns at all..
What about the Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of Beginning OTK? Normal summon Banisher of Light then special summon Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of Beginning. Activate any 2 cards that inflict direct damage to your opponents life points.Those two then gets banished so activate Primal Seed to grab your direct damage cards and use them again.Since primal seed was banished you can use another primal seed to add one primal seed and one direct damage card to your hand. Activate this effect as many times as you want until your opponents life points are 0. It will work with any nearly every card so go give your monsters five-billion attack.
You really only need to release 1 cyber dragon and 3 other machine monsters. Chimeratech Overdragon's effect allows it to attack for each card that was removed
Well, because it can launch an array of attacks, you don't neccesarily have to remove your opps monsters if the aren't annoying. Two monsters with average ATK and a Chimeratech at 8000+ would do everything nicely.

i have the pleasure to start to play yugioh using a chimeratech overdragon otk til the banlist comes and ban future fusion but i keep playing the overdragon
with new support for cyber dragon konami could go on a different road (like always) and make future fusion return making this something people should be afraid once more

What if your opponent activates Magic Cylinder? Then you just KO yourself. What if they activate Mirror Force? Then Chimeratech gets destroyed and you have no monsters in your deck since they are removed from play by Overload Fusion. It's best to have a Trap Stun or Royal Decree set first turn so you can be safe.
In today's meta, if Future Fusion and Heavy Storm was limited. This could happen. Activate Heavy Storm. Activate Foolish Burial, send Blackwing - Zephyros the Elite to the graveyard. Activate Future Fusion, send all the Cyber Dragon cards (15 cards) to the graveyard. Activate Blackwing - Zephyros the Elite effect, bounce Future Fusion. Activate Overload Fusion. Banish 10 Cyber Dragons. Summon Chimeratech Overdragon with 8000 ATK Activate Cybernetic Fusion Support. Activate Power Bond. Summon Cyber End Dragon with 8000 ATK or Cyber Twin Dragon with 5600 ATK. Finally, Activate Troll Face.
Personally I think banning future fusion was really stupid. They could have easily changed its ruling to match how e hero prisma works and make it so it can only send materials that are specifically named on the fusion monster. That literally wouldve solved like all of its balancing issues.
Yeah except then you couldnt use it to summon things like Absolute Zero (my favorite E hero) or The Shining. I still think Future Fusion shouldnt be banned, but changing the ruling like that wouldnt make it much better either.
with the way the ruiling is on it now it has to be banned. if they changed the ruling to what i said it wouldnt have to be banned. its rpetty much your choice of either the card is completely op and banned or way less op but still playable.

It's not hard to understand what future fusion does or how to use it right. It's just how can you get rid of something if you don't have a MST in your hand or anything to destroy it on the field. Plus this OTK is you need future fusion to send cards to the graveyard then with overload fusion you can just reveal the same fusion and summon it. The real trick is that if you did summon it with future fusion you destroy the card and Chimeratech Overdragon the main reason why Overload fusion was the second card to use. You can still use the Chimeratech Overdragon OTK but with a different card.
It can attack your opponent's monsters equal to the amount of materials used, so if your opponent has monsters all in attack mode, you win anyway. And that's why I still hate OverDragon. Terrible effect design.

There are a lot of different ways one could do this OTK now, but this video series is here to show how the OTKs were preformed in the past.

You don't need to dump 10 cuz Chimera tech can attack once for every fusion material so you really only need 4
Aren't 4 machine Monsters enough? Chimera could attack 4 times with 3200. That would be already enough won't it?
Overload Fusion is still unlimited, so why is it that people don't use this strategy for late game Chimeratech damage?

Well it only gets an array of attacks if it is attacking your opponents monsters. If you are attacking directly than it only gets the one attack.
