This was a great example of how to rat C2 sites. I think I'll watch it again to better cement what I am learning. By the way, your video was not to long when your training fellow capsuleers. Thanks for taking the time to make and edit the video.
Fabulous video, I much prefer longer formats, as you made. In fact, I will not watch anything under 10 minutes for I know very little useful information will be there. In case you are still active, I would love a long format video, or series, on setting up "Mobile Bases" in wormholes, since I'm a bit averse to player corps (burned a few times). Cheers.

How do you keep your cap stable with that XL shield booster active all the time? Sorry, im pretty new, especially to ratting And thank you for all the great content you provide, helped me out a TON!!! Wh space is so fun!
A neut is a module that when activated will destroy the capacitor of whatever ship its being activated on. NPCs sometimes have neuts and will neut you making it so your capacity will run dry if the pressure is too much. you can counter nuets with a large cap battery which gives a ~25% resistance to neuts + Give you well more cap.
For these C2 sites I don't recommend the HAMs as you saw I had issues where most of the site I straight up wasn't shooting due to how far the waves spawn. Heavies fix this issue
I've done some of these sites, by accident, with a Stratios (doing other things, find a site and decide to run it), in almost all cases I was attacked by players (my Stratios is a "Vampire", mostly PVP fit, which so far has allowed me to get away before the whole "party" arrives, I am also always aligned to one of my safes, whenever possible). My question is, shouldn't I always run ships with a least a prototype cloak? I normally create 2/3 safes in space, can the cloak be ignored?
@@GKhagah Thanks for the response, I'm now trying out T3s (sorta PVP fits, trying to find the perfect hybrid). I'm always an "unwanted guest" :) which is fine by me. I create 3 safes and 1 refit (usually 30ks from some structure, like NPC towers). The issue I find with not being a local is that I have to do every signature (found a Jaguar with 3 friends yesterday outside an Astrahus). I don't think, aside from the Stratios that I can escalate to C3s (I am proficient at all of them and am now trying a Proteus and a Loki, the Proteus just doesn't have the range for solo C3s, just takes too long). Anyway, just to let u know that I love your content, and am really having fun soloing WHs, even though I generally can only run 1 in 4. My only concern with any game is to have fun, could care less about ISK/hour, and if I die, I die, Cheers.
I'm just being a bad example, overly comfortable in wormhole space when I 'feel' safe. Wasn't that many connecting holes and most were eol, the cost is also very low to replace. but you should dscan, it has saved me and it can save you!
45:37 you warped off from the fight to a bookmark to save yourself from either tank failing or neuts. My question is, how did you get that bookmark there? I cant remember you placing it in the video.
Great observation, don't know if I showed it or not but if you press Crtl+B you can save a location in space. As I start my warp I click Crtl+B to get the window up, set a name, and get ready to click save. above your capacitor you will see the warp distance to your warp target so as I'm warping to a combat site it will go some distance in AU and then it'll go 200,000 Km then 50,000km and so forth. You gotta sit on the ready watching the distance, once you see sub 8,000 KM click save and you will now have a warpable combat ping on your site. Always double-check and look at your combat ping and check to make sure it's more than 150km so you can warp to it. any gooood combat ping is at least 300 km
@@GKhagah thank you very much for explaining how you are sitting at the ready to click save once the distance is where you want it. thats a fantastic idea. tricks like that would take me forever to figure out, if I ever would have thought of it haha. great videos by the way!
If i wanna get into wormhole ratting and am not in a big corp do i need to scan down those locations myself and does the wormhole class play a factor in the difficulty or do i just have to look at the data, relic or combat sites lvl on the map? I have for the most part done alot of exploration and from what i noticed rats only spawn on 2 specific named sites and they have to be lvl 3 regardless of the wormhole being C1-3.
To eat in wormhole space you have to find the hole. Doesn't matter if you live in a hole or live in k-space, you need to scan down a hole. Once you scan a hole down and find it you need to scan down all the know signatures , you'll find that there are other wormholes connected , it's important to jump those holes check out there other side , see if you see anything on dscan that would indicate activity . Wormhole class 100% plays a factor in site difficulty , check out rikkis guide to see the difference. This c2 is far easier than a c3. C3 is generally the ratting goal because at c3 you're going to be making 150+ m isk an hour. For relic and data sites there are two different types , there sleeper relic and data and faction relic and data. The faction ones say the factions name like sansha abandoned relic site or something , these have no hostiles and can be found in c1-c3 . Sleeper relic and data start with the term forgotten or unsecured and are basically just big ass combat sites.
Gotta sell it to npc buy orders. An NPC buy order can be identified by the really long expiration date (365 days or something ). I believe I broke down in the video identifying the difference . Once you sell to npc buy orders that's the best value you can get for the blue loot. You can increase it a bit by training accounting therefore reducing the broker fee . But the npc buy order is the cream of the crop for the value of your blue loot
5:30 i go into pyfa, you'll see my EHP/s (Effective Hit points/s) is 345. EHP/s takes into consideration both resistances and damage you wish to resist, by default pyfa has it set to omni damage and sleepers also do omni damage so yay.
@@william-tm yes so I hold Q , which then allows me to select a vector in the x and y plane , first click locks in this plane then I move the mouse to select the angle , second click locks in the angle and the ship goes . A which double click is all that's needed if you don't need to go up or down
@@GKhagah Also, not to say I know your business, but I looked for some basic tutorials that answer this "kind" of question and couldn't find any. So that might be solid content? Again, thanks and cheers. o7
Terms be terms , can't expect ya to know everything !!!!!! So if I were to punch you once , that's my alpha. If I punch you many times divided by time so you get damage per second that's DPS. These sites do 2 - 5 K of alpha meaning if your ship had less EHP than they had alpha you would be blown off the field before your reper could ever kick in. Minmitae ships are known for having High alpha meaning if you get a couple of them together to target the same ship you can blow hostiles off the field before logi ever gets a chance to put their reps on them. You can see your alpha in the damage section if the fitting window !
Signature tanking is much like speed tanking . The whole premise of whatever doesn't hit you doesn't damage you. Speed tanks need to go really fast so they are normally mwd, they have to go really fast because the mwd also blooms the size of their signature . Sig tanking uses an afterburner cause they don't want the sig blood a mwd causes . In my mind they are the same , you know try not to get hit . But there is an under the hood difference that purists would know more about
sig tanking is more about each ship and class has a signature range sig tanking is basically keeping the signature radius of a ship as low as possible to take less potential damage basically it works in 2 ways different weapons apply damage. even in a slow ship if your sig is low % of applied damage is lowered as you speed up weapons don't apply damage or cant track so you take either no damage or only occasional glancing blows sig tanking becomes a balancing act as armour reduces speed shield increases sig modules that increase speed and manoeuvrability in general removes tank in general its a more complex game and speed tanking is a much easier thing to understand and do where as sig tanking requires the same but also greater fitting ability and understanding it also calls for watching more things .
