    Those comms are pretty tight. I can appreciate the lack of any drama or unnecessary chatter. Took me back to pirating days in placid with my old crew. Well done lads.

    This was my first big fight in EVE after years of PVE and mining. Lost a Jackdaw right off the bat because of a bad warp, but kept the second one alive the rest of the fight. What a fantastic learning experience this one was.

    I watched a bunch of your videos over the last couple weeks and the fights you guys are getting seem pretty amazing. Also huge plus that you don’t have to go potato mode and deal with 10% tidi.
    Then again I have no idea how the jpsace logistics work and all the day to day between the exciting fights. Every time I look at corps and alliances i struggle to find someone who’s actually willing to teach. Was interested in Turbo Pups but they seem to be USTZ exclusive. Looked at two other corps and they got evicted while I was checking them out.
    Do you have any recommendations how to make the jump to jspace for someone how’s been living in null for a couple years?

    • @GKhagah
      @GKhagah  9 месяцев назад +2

      I started in a C4 corp that averaged 5 guys online, was fun. we could max form to like 20 guys (against a eviction or what not) and a lot of us multiboxed so we could attempt to project. Was a great place to learn because we had a C3 and C5 static so best of both ratting options. Theres probably like 50 small wormhole corps out there. I'd join a small corp , active in your TZ, over a feeder corp. Medium sized corps are cool too, when you can depend on 20 people to be around, casually form 20-35 man fleets . Large corps in their TZ should be able to easily put 45+ ships on grid in their peak TZ, i wouldnt recommend large corps if you dont know your wormhole basics.

    What do you mean "bushido?" I am not a wormholer. I just watched that like 6 hour down the rabbit hole video on Eve and I think he mentioned something about Bushido being a reference to the honor system of samurai. Do WH corps generall not fuck with one another or what?

    • @GKhagah
      @GKhagah  6 месяцев назад

      no bushido revolves around the honor of a fight. so if my group sees your group in the chain, and our FCs chat and say hey look lets fight with 25 men, no podding, meet in this system on this sun, if we get 3rd party we switch to shooting the 3rd party. Honoring the agreed terms and then fighting is a bushido.
      could be a 5v5, 25 v25, or 100 vs 100. so long its an agreed upon fight. Once one side starts breaking the rules/terms one would say that is not very bushido of them.
      In the end bushido fights allow wormhole corps to fight each other more frequently and fluidly. Typically a wormhole corp will not deny a request to fight, its not very honorable.

    wow, first time seeing a battle from EVE, i have a question, how hard and time demanding is eve for a newbie?

    • @GKhagah
      @GKhagah  9 месяцев назад +1

      Hard because it's an ocean of stuff you don't know. And not time consuming because you have no commitments , just for in an hour or two when you want

    • @GAMMA47
      @GAMMA47 9 месяцев назад +3

      It can be very daunting to a new player. But don't try to internalize every single information you see. Pick something you wanna do in terms of activity and then pick what kind of ship you want to get in and specialize in that ship so at the very least you have something you can fly while while you train other ships.

    • @aubreyfinn4450
      @aubreyfinn4450 9 месяцев назад +3

      I was in this fight! What you're seeing is the one of the 'deep ends of the pool', which is High Class Wormholes. People have alt characters, have deep knowledge of game mechanics etc. However, Groups in Nullsec or maybe Faction Warfare are more newby friendly and have a similar vibe (but with different builds, slightly different mechanics etc). Wormholes tend to be time demanding, but a Nullsec Bloc such as Goons, Horde etc might be good. For the faction warfare side, I hear lots of secondhand good stuff about Fl33T in Minmatar Faction Warfare. There's also a just-released system where you can play as Pirates for either the Guristas or Angel Cartel that could be a good place to start. All of these are low-commitment, low hours needed. The single most important thing is realize this game relies on group efforts, so find a corporation (guild) that you like to play with and not be afraid of leaving a group if you think it sucks. Hope it helps!

    • @Calavera357
      @Calavera357 9 месяцев назад

      I was also in this fight, and it was my first larger PVP battle. A LOT was going on, I made a big mistake that got me killed, but I was able to get back out there and with the help of the more experienced players I was able to survive the rest of the fight and contribute in a way that felt rewarding to me. This is one of the more advanced areas of the game to fly in, but there are many corporations of players out there willing to take newbies under their wing and train you up regardless of experience, as long as you are willing to learn, ask questions, and participate. And these days, nearly all of the early aspects of making an Eve character are free, and if you decide you want to continue to play past the paywall you can make that decision much later down the road, or continue to play for free and still be able to contribute in battles like this, even in the depths of wormhole space.

    • @Argrathar
      @Argrathar 9 месяцев назад +1

      People often say that, but the reality is that in big fights the typical line member doesn't even need to understand what's going on, ha! most people are not able to fully understand all the things that are happening at the same time. This is why many tasks are delegated to different members, one person calls the shots, another manages logistics, someone else takes care of the protecting the fleet from booshers, a specialist covers us with a firewall. However as mundane or boring it may sound, the most basic (and common) gameplay in EVE boils down to listening to simple commands, selecting a target on top of broadcast list and pressing F1 on keyboard. It's really not that complicated. Sure, the game is complex, but solving it is a group activity, only the best players understand and comprehend everything at once in the heat of battle. Try to find a good training group, Eve University wormhole division or TurboPups, and you will find that this game is great fun, very sociable and really not that difficult.
