Can this be done by an alpha clone or is omega required to advance enough to be able to do this? I have an account but haven't played other than tutorials lol
Late to the party but funfact: In Ye Old days, we had to place a single probe at each planet with a 4 AU radius and scan, and boy did we scan, if you did not get a hit, you could always scan again
I remeber having thousands of bookmarks just for probing and the cans of duplicate copies to share with new alliance members when they joined so we had a scanning network lol 😆 the pain, I miss those days #EveClassic?
Wow. Just wow. Thank you for sharing your EVE knowledge. I am a 2 month old newbro and learned so much from this education session! First off, you're welcome ... I am one of those idiots leaving combat sites unfinished. LOL! I always wondered what the big deal about them was since I rarely got anything good from loot. I feel stupid now, but learned the lesson - thank you. Also, the 4AU trick on scanning ... brilliant! Of course, I am also making the mistake of taking out the towers/batteries first. Geez, no wonder it feels like I'm just unlucky - nope, I'm doing it wrong! I am a month away from your posted fit from a skills standpoint, but am off to practice in my Vexor. Thanks for all the tips!!!!
All this time playing EVE and getting (or not) escalations/farming and I always targeted the towers/batteries first. ALWAYS! Learned something new today and that's the amazing thing about this game. For as long as I've played, I'm still constantly learning new things! Sub/Like smashed. Now I'll need to pilfer through your other vids and see what else I've been doing wrong. lol Not much of a Twitch person but I'll be here for your YT vids! o7
@@BonkersY2K Yeah I had seen in the comments you had some nasty flu-bug or something. Stay safe, rest up and get better, don't push too hard or early YT and your audience will still be here. I do hope your getting better! Really enjoyed the video's I watched!
@@chrisc7425 Thanks I really appreciate your comment, I am feeling much better now, planning on getting back on the bike so to speak this week. need to start looking at what to do for the next video. its hard coming up with this stuff lol
Finally! Something I can do to make good ISK in highsec, I've tried so many things. Triglavian sites (too high risk), Wormholes (finding the right one takes time), LVL4 Missions (slow income), industry (so damn boring and slow)
I have followed this method over the last few months and, though I haven't achieved in a two week period what he did, I've had so much fun and learned how to get the lucrative escalations on a regular basis. This is fun!
It takes a bit to get into my route that I run spans 4 regions and is around 1900 jumps lol its a bit excessive but the speed at running those improves greatly the more use to it you get. Thank you for sharing your feedback though its always nice to hear when people try it and realise it isn't rubbish and can help you fund your game for free!
I'm still here, I just had major surgery so everything is on hold. I dont make much eve content because it just means repeating the same stuff as it never changes, the isk making guides still work, the mission builds still work, and remaking a video for the sake of it I think devalues the point. There is a newer build version using a vedmak you might want to take a look at I think its called 2021 isk guide or something 😉
Change the second Cap Rig to T2 then you can drop the Power Diagnostic. Put 2 Restrained Cap Flux Coils instead of the T2. No more CPU Imp needed and more Cap available :D
That is a fix that will work 😃 my origin setup doesnt require the implant that runs 3 mag stabs but people were having fitting issues so I altered it to try and accommodate.
Because of the speed and efficiency it is able to clear 3/10 some 4/10s watch and lookouts and hideouts faster than anything else out there, the next step up is the Vedmak build which is linked at the end of the video
Its a pretty good time to come back, a new race has invaded our space and is turning off suns and flipping systems to nulls sec and sending storms into null its really interesting!
@@BonkersY2K Cool! I was a carebear, mostly HS, but did wh, and null ratting. Favorite was hauling (freighter & jump freighter). This makes it look pretty easy to plex a couple accounts with only moderate success.
Good video! Random find on the video, the tip about within 4 AU of an orbital body is great. I will try it soon, also I am guilty of not reading the pop-up messages they send haha. I don't do sites very often but I will start again and try my luck. I need to watch the video once more and take notes on what not to kill and so on, because i just target w/e. The amount of money you make on average a week is insane. Even if it was a quarter of that it's good! Thanks again. - Meditrina
Thanks for the feedback, the recent changes to the systems flipping have impacted this total as routing has become more of a pain. That being said I'm still getting great successes averaging about 1-2 bil a run if the lootfairy aligns lol
@@BonkersY2K I just messaged a friend after I saw your video and said the CCP Gods smile on you haha. I've done numerous things to " attempt " to make money. But I don't stick with it. I will try haha. My best money maker is referring my own account and spending real money on plex . Def need to try your way :P
Yeah you will do well just be persistent this tends to be the biggest issue people have they make a 30 jump route and get halfway through and quit. Each system respawns sites every 15 minutes so a big route that doubles back on its is going to yield better numbers 😉
FYSA: When you get a double sig, it is always the further away end point. You can drop to 1, and scan over that end. Same if you get a ring, scan on the further away side of the ring.
I have watched your video and was excited to to give a go so I purchased the recommended fit. I was able to do level 3 DED sites without issue but found a level 4 and entered. That's when it went wrong. I was able to clear the first room but upon entering the second room I was wasted so quickly. All of my modules were active, my speed was up and I did not head directly to the rats in a straight line. It didn't matter...I didn't even have time to escape when I knew things were going south. I keep trying to review where I went wrong. My SP is strong in the related skills needed so I know I am missing something (probably piloting skills lol). Good bye 500m lol
Which level 4 was it, there is only 4/10 you need to worry about which i mentioned and that was Phi-Outpost and for this one you have to break off and pull them in groups to complete it safely. Other than this as long as your in Caldari or Gallente space your fine, if your in amarr or minmatar space then I assume you switched the hardners for their specific damage which needs em and thermal dont know if that helps
Awesome stuff. I'm a little ocd lol so always hang around to kill anything else that the drones will attack ie the big sat dish etc and then obviously loot and then salvage every wreck. ;~) Takes ages lol. I use the agency thing to find spots to scan down and have recieved lots of the extra popups but didn't know about the escalation bit in the agency again after getting the pop ups. I have been getting a couple of mill worth of stuff each time and thought I'd just not hit paydirt yet but now I am seeing where all my isk was really sat waiting for me, damn it. :~) thanks very much. Liked and subbed.
Watched this video 4 days ago, did it, and now I've made 1.4 billion and can pay to plex my account, all with a 300m Gila (easily financed by running WH relic sites in a cheap fit Heron) and a 2 month old Alpha account. THIS WORKS.
@@BonkersY2K it definitely took some research! I think people just want something easy, and while this is harder than AFK mining Veldspar it is much more fun (and more lucrative)
Run it straight away if you have time there usually where you biggest money will come from. Just avoid jumping into low sec. As for asking questions if I can help im happy too ☺
Very nice vid and well put together. It seems like you have a great method down to making ISK in high sec. One thing I dont agree with or perhaps misunderstood is when you say killing the turrets removes your chance of an escalation and removes all other ships from spawning. Ive done no where near the amount of sites you have but i do kill the turrets first every time and never has it blocked me from getting an escalation or kept ships from spawning. I have always had the rest of the waves spawn after killing the turrets. Minor thing though, great video dude. Subbed.
Hey thanks for the comment I appreciate the response. So killing the turrets reduces the spawns that follow it they aren't required to complete the site so just send a tick to the server to say its finished. Try running a few and dont kill the turrets leave them be (only in hideaway or refuge) and then wait. You'll see that the site will despawn without the need to kill the turrets and you'll have gotten 1/2 more spawns or ships this ultimately increases your odds of a faction spawn and the accompanying escalation😉 let me know how you get on
@@BonkersY2K For a long time I tried clearing these refuges and hideouts exclusively as fast as possible using a jackdaw without killing the turrets. But since that required targeting manually, I felt like I was loosing quite a bit of time even with sensor boosters. Therefor, I started using a caracal navy issue fitted with auto-targeting light missiles and 5 T2 drones. I can now do a refuge in about 1 - 1.5 minutes depending on the number of spawns. Since I'm using auto-targeting missiles I'll naturally kill the turrets as well at some point. I would have sworn that it doesn't matter at all if you kill the turrets or not. The number of ship spawns always seemed totally random to me. In fact I got most escalations during the 3rd spawn and rarely in the 4th or 5th spawn. This is of course pure escalation farming and has little to do with what you're doing.
@@archiewalters3633 sure thing i have a back log the next video was doing this in minmatar and amarr space but ill do the abyssals next although these can get pricy at teir 5. I currently hold the world record for the teir 5 completions which is cool
For the hecate from New it is about 3 months but you cant do it as an alpha so bear that in mind. The Alpha Video one is 3/4 weeks depending on your attribute distribution
Show info on the location your escalation is at and then on the window that comes up select the 6th tab called route, follow this instead of setting destination 😉
Question, on your way to a escalation do you set it as your destination or waypoint and do you do combat sites on the way there in hopes of getting another escalation and loot. Also can you have more then 1 escalation at a time.
I show info on the location of the escalation system, the last tab then says the route to get to it. You follow this without setting a route this way you don't have to clear anything 😉
Great video, learned a lot, thanks and subscribed! One question please: How do you get your loot into Jita (to get the best price) without getting ganked? The scan 'n gank squads seem to operate round the clock these days.
I use alts to move the loot and do so in ships that don't draw attention. I won't share how I do this entirely as it could impact my ability to do so going forward however using alts and limiting cargo is good advice. I have not lost any of my loot so far
Hello Sir, really good video, thank you! I am a lil bit confused about one part thou: Which sites do you run exactly? Is it Combat Anomalies or Cosmic Signatures-> Combat Sites? I saw you doing Hideaway, Refuge (anoms). But also Hideout, Lookout, Vigil? Could you maybe give a List of which you recommend?
Your video has given me much to think about. I would need to adapt it to my own needs, but there is much you discussed that I would need to learn how to do. Kinda feels like a large puzzle and I am missing several pieces.
AAA video. I've been doing sort of the same thing in a VNI after relearning the game for the past few weeks. Turns out Ive been doing about 50% of the things wrong. Many tutorials are not thorough like this one. Any chance at a similar guide for conduits?
Hi, I can put something together it might take me a week or so. I have 2 other videos to record and then the live streams Thursday Friday and Saturday! but leave it with me
Hey mate, was wondering once an escalation comes out so u go strait for it, or do u keep on your route scanning till u get there? If so how do u go there with out loosing your route you made. Or do u start over once u finish escalation. Sorry hope this makes sense
So I open the escalations window, show info on the system that it is in and then go to the 6th tab on that show info window. This gives you the route. I then follow this as i then can run everything on the way and when finished the route takes me back.
@@BonkersY2K hey sorry mate to bug you again really trying to make this work, lol. Is there a way to save a route? and i looked on EVE university and it looks like the hideaways are for 1/10 but i could of read that wrong. thank you again for your time
@@lucag1175 Route saving you can do but its hard to type, I'm streaming in an hour on twitch come stop by and ill show you that bit. As for the Hideaways, The hidden/Forlorn and so on variations of the hideaway and refuges are for lower level 1/10 and 2/10s but the straight Hideaway and Refuges are a 3/10 and a 4/10 escalation
I’ve been using your method and have had a ton of success. Quick question, I checked out your stream and noticed that you had around 900 dps, I have almost all of the gunnery skills maxed out and the exact fit you use but I’m sitting at 350ish. Any tips?
Hey Carlos, I'm so glad to hear its been going well for you, some people are still struggling to understand i think. With the DPS, Switch to Void and Null ammo. Null for anything not Battleships or Stations and Void for everything else as you get 11km range in sharpshooter. The only other thing that it could be is your support skills for the ship itself. might be worth having a look into them :)
I've been away from EVE for several years wondering if there was anything there for me now. Thought I'd check things out to see what changed. Come across your video and loved it. I guess there is something for me to do. Might see if I can figure out how to get to your live stream thingers. Laughed, liked, subscribed. Be safe.
Thank man for this guide , this the guide i've been looking for since I started. quick question: I plan to run this in an orthrus (coz I'm alpha , hopefully this ISK pays for omega :) ). I'm posting my fit below , if u hv any suggestion please lemme know. I believe it can handle upto Guristas 4/10. I have 365 DPS with drones and 36K EHP. If your just chaining the 4/10 Guristas sites, this should be fine. Just try to set a long route in Caldari space and make sure your looping the previous systems in to maximises the number of potential sites you find
@@krysis2155 15 minutes on the ticker means that new sites spawn in systems every 15 minutes, so a cleared system previously now is repopped and you can go again
A decently fit (t2 tank) cruiser works decently well, and is not overly expensive. At least for the regular sites. If you're flush with isk, you could use T3Ds.
I'm not sure I understand the leaving the turrets alive thing. What mechanic is that where if they are destroyed it can stifle future spawn waves (if I'm understanding it correctly)? I can't find any info about that and no other guide I've seen mentions that. Is this just an anecdotal superstition thing? I'm inclined to believe you, but it's just a weird tidbit of info I can't seem to find anymore information or corroboration about anywhere else. Also, thanks! Started running these sites now. I always thought they were useless and never realized there was anything more than low bounty rats in the anomalies!
So the turrets are not tied to the npc site and when the site is finished anything not tied to the site is cleared, signature disapeers, structures and space stuff like platforms and such explode to clear the site which is why if you finish the site, bookmark the wreck warp off and back you will see all that's there are wrecks, so by killing the turrets you are triggering the sites cleared mechanic that ccp use to "clean up"
This video is an absolute gold mine of information, thank you for making it. I have a question about sites...Do you do all refuges/hideaways in a system before scanning sigs down, or vice versa? Also, could you possibly reply with the list of sites you mentioned that are worth doing to spawn 3 and 4 out of tens?
So i will run any hideaway or refuge sites in that system while I scan the sigs down bit they are just called hideaway and refuges not hidden or anything like that. Apologies but I'm currently held up in bed trying to get over a horrible flu i will update the description with the site names as soon as I am a bit better 👍
Thanks im working on it been stuck in bed for the last week and the doctors just signed me off for another week :( if it wasn't for the fact I have no voice I'd be working on some content for this 🤒
Nice. Ive been doing this to plex my main account but i missed some details from other faction. man, you're using a tactical destroyer, you can use the defensive mode every time the damage is ramped up. and you can also use the prop mode to get away faster
Thank you so much for your sub, hopefully you find my content enjoyable, just bare with me im learning as i go lol, The ship is the Hecate, its a T3 Destroyer for the gallente.
4au tip earned the sub! ages playing this game and i had no idea about this lol! p.s: an auto targeting jackdaw is alot better at this, no need to lock anything and they just die.
True the auto jackdaw does away with locking but you have to compensate for lost time in flight time for the missiles the guns are instant so you actually clear the sites 50% faster than the jackdaw
Awesome video. All sorts of informative, so thank you very much for this. How often will the site gates have size limits on them do you think? Could you do most of this in a cruiser sized ship too?
@@BonkersY2K Mayhaps you have insane luck, or I just have wretched luck. I've been rocking your method for a few days now and have had some luck, but nothing compared to the numbers you talk about. @@calderjustice5654 I run amarr, gallente and caldari all in the same route I just swap out hardners if I'm in amarr for em. My routes are 430 jumps hope that helps
at around 18:00 you talk about getting a key from a container that is used to activate the gate? Please explain. I was running an escalation 3/10 DED in a confessor and randomly a Gila comes in. I have no idea how to handle this at all, he gets the kill on the end target and I miss out on ~270 mil loot. I had safety on so I couldn't snag it. Could you please explain what happened and how I should approach these things and like general rules that I can follow. How do I know if I have a key? How do I know if I can warp off or do I and the other guy have to "race" or what's going on? Lovely tutorial, btw.
Ok so the key is very clear to see it is usually a round blue disc in your inventory that says passkey, gate code, commanders pass etc. Where these are location in each site varies but that info is listed in the site descriptions on EveUni which is linked in the description 😉 as for the rest of your questions some sites have different ways to the end goal so by using the key your able to bypass some of the gates and can get a head start. Others like the 4/10 commanders outpost, you activate the gate using a key and the gate is only live for 60 seconds, after that window has passed the key is consumed and the gate is locked. The frustration here is if you need to warp out for what ever reason you have lost the site entirely 😢 hope this helps
@@BonkersY2K Wow, thank you for the fast reply. Okay, thank you for taking the time to explain more. Alright, I guess I'll do some more reading about the sites. I get quite stressed when running DED sites, but I guess I will get comfortable as I do more of them. I'm a toon from 2013 and have been on and off but never really done sites or understood them. I learn a lot from your videos, thank you for making them, and thanks again for taking the time to reply. You have gained another subscriber. Fly safe o7.
Do you prefer the Hecate over the Jackdaw? On the paper the Hecate has better dps but the Jackdaw has the shieldresistence bonus in defense mode and with missiles it has a far more better range control. In sharpshooter mode you can kill targets at 53 km distance. So what was the factor that you choose the Hecate? I just lost my 500 mil Jackdaw to a Suicide Ganker Coercer and im unsure if i buy a new Jackdaw, Hecate or use the Vedmak i have in the Hangar and which i saw in one of your videos.
So the Hecate wins out for this task based on the fact the npcs are not alive long enough to cause any significant damage, after the Alpha strike the incoming damage is mitigated by your movement .
You say at the beginning to scan anomalies and only do the Hideaways or Refuses - great. But then at 15:18 you enter a "Lookout". Doesn't that violate your initial premise? What am I missing?
Hi there no it does not i am scanning down signatures while I run the anomalies the o ly anomalies I run are hideaway and refuges the lookout is a signature that is found by scanning down the signatures while your running ghe anomolies your scanning down the signatures looking for combats sites specifically lookout hideout scout outpost vigil anything 3/10 or 4/10. I hope that helps and clears it up
Hey thanks for the video. Quick question - the sites I want to do for a chance at an escalation are "Hideaway", "Refuge", and "Lookout", correct? Any others? I was having a bit of trouble figuring out which sites I do and which sites I skip.
Hi luca yes I am. I'm testing a build for the amarr mini runs and that will be one. I'm going to make a video dedicated just to scanning it will be short but I get alot of questions on it so jumping on that and then yes gonna do one for trigs sites if needed. I only got back to streaming this week and its been 30+ degrees in the UK so we have been having some horrendous storms that knocked the power out :(
@@BonkersY2K sorry to hear that hope all is okay. I think that you could go far with this channel. You can explain things really well and you know your stuff. PS: Hope you make videos for abyss lv 4 or 5 as well:) cheers and hope to see u soon on the channel.
@@lucag1175 I am recording the footage for this tonight :) all going to plan we will have the scanning video tonight and the trig tomorrow. I hope youve got some isk in your pocket though as my fit is pricey but i will explain why in the video
Null is used for killing the npcs and should be your main dps, this I'm getting around 700dps, when it comes to structures and battleships use void and this will kill them faster with this ammo I'm getting 1093dps. Hope that helps
So the jackdaw can do ot but it requires alot more kiting and you make a mistake it will make you pay for it lol. As for the isobar and gila they work fine for the 4/10s but you won't be able to access the 3s which are faster to run and have a more frequent payout I find
Angel Cartel sites don't seem to escalate, I don't think you covered this. Also you said tank EM/Thermal for Angels, but they deal Explosive/Kinetic. Why do you use a 400m Hecate out of interest? I use an 80mil Jackdaw and it does them faster with less risk.
Thanks for the video, I just subscribed. Also, I must be a bit mentally deficient but I cannot make that 4AU scan tip to work. How do you pick the celestial body to scan? Sometimes there are 3 or 4 of them in a single signature... And does your method also work with combat sites from anomalies or only from cosmic signatures? Sorry if that sounds dumb I just started a week ago.
Hey Bonkers, first of all tyvm about all this, sick content and it’s already helping me a lot! I still had some questions in mind, like what would be the best faction space to do this? Also I had a lot of level 4 wich are pretty bad, is it because i got them on 0.9+? Why are they not level 4+? If I manage to do this in lowsec, is it better money? Tyvm regardless of you answer you already helped a lot!
Ok so best faction for a return on isk/lp is Sisters of Eve, there are level 5 missions too, your social skills will improve the rewards of the level 4s though. Train connections diplomacy and the security connections and so on. These will improve your rewards, LP, standing gain and access to other agents. Thabk you for your feedback on the video im going to try and record a new one tonight but I'm still getting over this bug 😭
@@BonkersY2K Damn that's a fast answer! xD Actually I expressed myself poorly I'm fairly new to pve and such, I meant level 4 escalations, difficulty level. In the video you say we're looking for level 4/10 ones right? Maybe that's another part I missunderstood (english isnt my good language), so I was asking about what faction space to hunt for escalations and what makes me have level 3 escalations sometimes (wich are really bad loot wise) Although I didn't knew mission running could be good isk, I'll def try to look into that when I get some skills to spare! tyvm yet again! Can't wait to see the video though, as I always do, I hope everything works out ^^
Ah ok so space wise you will need to switch hardners but the build works for all of gallente amarr and caldari, aim for systems 0.8 to 0.5 any escalations that go to low sec. Make sure to run the anomolies while scanning down combat sites. Also look in the description for the eve uni wiki for the sites themselves.
So you run ded site in high sec only. Are they 4/10 and lower only?? Is there a better ship the hecate to do so?? Hecate seems almost too weak sometime...but that's based on my very, very limited knowledge on hecate.
I already had the inventory open for the ship the window pops up in that as a wreck instead. When yoir in space click on the open cargo hold button and then pin that windows 😀
can this be done in other ships? cant quite run the t3 yet. Also is an Armor tank ok to run these site or is there more of an advantage to shield tanks? Great video I will subscribe for more.
So I have a build using armour in another video check out the 2021 version 😉 this ship is fitted with a shield tank specifically because of its versatility and output. As it is this does 1000dps but if you put armour mods in instead it drops to 400 and becomes alot more cap dependant
@@BonkersY2K when escalation is finished like in the video killing the griffin will give you the loot but what happens when you fully finish a escalation like go into the gate and continuing the escalation do you get extra loot?
Cracking video, exactly what us newbies need, keep them flowing please. Quick question, I've simulated your fit and my capacitor is ovewrloaded. I have CPU Management to 5, weapon upgrades to 5 and advanced weapon upgrades to 5. Am I missing something?
Some people have said they have an issue with the fitting but a 5% cpu implant has fixed it or a geno implant. Apologises i havent replied im trying to shift a horrible flu that just doesn't want to budge hope that helps
you ignore them in basically every instance unless they are a trigger for the next wave which only exists in 2 sites which i break down in my site by site guides :)
The EVE Workbench Fit you gave for Hecate is not working as the cpu recq are shown as 298 / 287.5 tf i.e. 10.5 tf more than available (I have all my engineering skills maxed out) ?? Has CCP changed Hecate's CPU amount since this video was made??
They did it was in a comment somewhere I found a fix its just a cpu implant and your golden Although I would recommend looking at the more recent one the 2022 guide there is an entirely new build and I promise you, you won't be disappointed! The Dedmak is king
Do you have any recommendations for ships for newer players? T3 destroyers take quite a bit to get into :) I'm vaguely aware that there are some restrictions on fits for some of the gates or something like that?
@@workingclasshero86 sure wouldn't be as quick because your reliant on the flight times of the drones and you will be locking yourself out of the lookout which can drop a 5 stage escalation that has a faction rat at each stage 😉
Hi, i am pretty new to eve, huge help is this video thx. Do you do drone combat site aswell or do you leave them. I have been running them but the rewards they give are unrewarding
Thanks this is cool, I do the similar thing but no nearly as efficient, will have to try, have you noticed a big drop off on loot drops recently or am I just on a bad luck run spree?
i have noticed a lack of sites but put this down to an increase in runners, I am working on an omni fit that means that the run can be expanded out to all 4 regions and 5 npc's. However Trig sov changes are making planning routes problematic
Hey. This looks very promising. I'm a returning player and could do with an ISK boost. Got a few 'spare' SP to put into Tac Dessie skill but might use an Interdictor instead..... assuming the DPS and tank is enough. May I ask though.... are you scanning every system on your route? and at the begining you said only take Hideaway and Refuge but then you later state that Vigil, Hideout, Lookout, Scout Outpost and Narcotics Warehouse all work. It may be that I'm so long out of the game that I don't understand this and it will all be obvious when I log in but which statement was correct? first or second? (or both that I just don't get) Subbed.... really liked your presentation style.
So the interdictor won't do it it will fail very quickly, regarding the sites, hideaway and refuge are the cosmic anomolies they are found just by having your scanner open, the others are DED rated combat sites and require the use of the core probe launcher and you scanning down signatures, the idea is you run the anoms while you are scanning the sigs. Yes you run every system on your route, but 100% you cannot use the dictor you want to use the hecate, I also have an updated video out that gives you a build that can run every region with no hardner changes
@@BonkersY2K Thanks for so quick a reply. I agree on the Dictors.... just Pyfa'd it.... it doesn't look good!. Despite 116m skills points.... pretty much all combat. I have zero in Tac Dessie. I'll look for you in game but I imagine your probably not BonkersY2K in game.
If you have that many sp, check out the new video and the Dedmak you will like it for sure 👍 Bonkers2000 ingame, I used to have Y2K but the i sold the account 10 years ago on the character bazaar, I've tried to get it back but the guy won't sell it back 😢

Late to the party, but I have a question when it comes to Escalations.. Once you set a destination, your previous route is gone.. Do you just re-plan it from your current position? Or do you finish one, head back to station, sell, rinse repeat?
That would be ideal.. But, I've been out of the game for almost 3 years, and while I did buy Omega, my SP is nowhere near able to fly that absolutely GORGEOUS DedMaw, let alone fit it. I'll have to stick to Alpha methods.. for now.. Back when I used to play all the time, I made no effort to skill up beyond what I needed (All Indy) so I'm playing some massive catchup.. But I just finished the base of the SP Pyramid from Uni, so I can at least fly this version
Of course, This refers to your speed, at the bottom of your capacitor is the speed meter, its broken into 5 sections 0/25/50/75/100, you'll see 3 lines in your speedo too, this means you want to keep your speed above the 3rd line
These guides feature a lot of good tips...however, the downside is the difficulty in actually selling the stuff you collect for enough isk to make all the effort worth your while. Hardly any thing you are able to loot sells for the estimated value on the market...most items only a small fraction of that value!
Man, this has become my main activity now. Not just for the isk, but its fun :) Made about 50mil isk on the first run....far from what you say in your video but still, its better than just rune missions over and over while waiting for your industry to finish producing. Its a good revenue activity. I'm also adding data and relic scanners to do the data sites. But not wasting time the wormholes yeat. But yeah just running down what you say in the video is pretty good.
I'm seeing some negative posts here wich is you're right to do but I've followed the instructions and I'm up 10-15bill per week so say what you want it does work.
Nice video! I copied your fit, first time out, 3 jumps from Jita, accidentally jumped into a Triglavian system and died instantly, then got popped and podded again trying to loot my own wreck while watching someone in a noob ship steal 400M of my loot. Good times!
Newb here. Is there a particular reason you opted for shield tank over armor tank, even though the Hecate gets armor bonuses? Also, what mode do you usually run in?
Sharpshooter, and the hecate might have bonuses to armour but it performs better as a shield tank for this newer players aren't likely to be flying this ship hence the vexor build video I made for Alpha/New players. As an older or more experienced player you learn that the bonuses for a ship don't dictate how it should be fitted. For example the Hull tanked vexor, the laser boat armour tank raven, the nanofiber ac domi, the shield/armour/Hull tank gila, the ship should never and will never dictate the build of a ship 😉
@@BonkersY2K Good to know. I'm a forever-returning player, and I may have used a few skill injectors lol, so I'm still a noob, but a pretty skilled-up noob. Currently I'm making my money from T4 missions, but it's slower going than the returns you are seeing. I'm just starting on training the gallente tactical destroyer and then getting my shield skills to 5 (I armor tank with my BS). Most of my shield skills are at 4, but would you recommend waiting until I get them to 5 to use your fit? Also, my scanning skills are pretty low (3's mainly), should I 5 those up as well before I start on this?
Your scanning skills just define how fast you find a site so this is up to you, as for the skills I beleive that the core skills to 5, magic 14 are key too. I would say use the vexor in the meantime and once in the hecate aim for the new build in the vedmak
Great video! I've just started playing the game and am using this method. I'm going much slower than you but I'm wondering if you only loot the faction spawns in these escalations / sites or do you also loot the containers, etc?
Hey, The speed will come with practice :P As for the loot I only loot the faction npcs or the things that hold the shiny loot like the Satellite Dish in Scout Outpost etc,
I'm having a little bit of confusion. Are you ever doing the combat anomalies or are you only running the actual cosmic signature combat sites? There are combat anomalies called "Angel Hideaway" but checking EVE Uni says they're all class 1 with nothing. Are these the things I'm supposed to be going for or am I only going for the sites that actually require to be scanned down?
So your running the hideaways and refuges while scanning down the combat signatures the reason your running the hideaway and refuge anomalies is because they trigger a specific 3/10 and 4/10 that you want to run i hope that helped
So your running the anomolies while scanning down the combar signatures sorry it was my first video and I will admit I was nervous and stumbling around but yeah hopefully that helps 😉
Morning, was wondering after u get the escalation, how do u set destination there with out loosing you’re whole route? Or do u complete the full route and do escalation later? Thank u
Nope, if a site escalates in the agency tab on the escalations page I will show info on the system it wants me to go to look at the last tab on the info panel that comes up and just follow the route to it with out undoing my long route. It also means that I'm actually increasing my odds as while I am travelling toward the escalation jump for jump I will run the atoms and ded sites. Hope this helps :)
Pretty decent skills. Pictured in use is a tech 3 destroyer, i live in amarr space so i would use a confessor or a worm. Contact me ingame at Atesh Tarsha and i can give you some fits/tips
Hey man, love your videos and the energy, Lol.. One question tho, whats the percentage of getting an escalation because I'm trying the method, maybe I missed something..
hey.. ok .. i think i figured what i was doing wrong... ship type.. that brings me to ask, is there anyway you can out together a cheaper fit for the hecate?
You can do this in a vexor and I am working on a new build that will do all the sites but its going to need some skills, the alpha video and the vexor though should help you its 80 mill and can do the 3/10s and the 4s but you need to be aware of your surroundings. I am really glad you stuck with this!
I know you sent a link to your fitting, but it won't open for me. So could you please send me the fitting by copying it from in game and pasting it here - thanks! Also a very informative video, will be using to earn more ISK. Also thanks for the tip about the signatures and planets.
Your after the faction npcs they will be named specifically, if you have the eve uni webpage open, look for the ones with a great cargo container next to the name, ie go to guristas watch and in there it will show you which npc has the loot and what to do to trigger an escalation, you make the isk selling the faction items 😉
instructions unclear, ended up in wormhole and became merkat

Glad to hear it!
Jim, might I suggest you consider checking out my newer video, it uses a different ship but gives you alot more versatility
Nice vid mate. I play EVE for years and didn't know about that 4AU thingy :D Liked and subbed :)

Even when he is no longer active his guides are still top content for highsec combat exploration to this date.

Hey, any particular reason why you use that particular ship for these activities?

While it's not technically important, incursion sites, are another form of site that doesn't have to spawn withing 4AU of an orbital body.
Aren't incursion sites always green anyway? No scanning?
Dang! I quit several years ago for reasons :) This is good info and well presented.
Its a pretty good time to come back, a new race has invaded our space and is turning off suns and flipping systems to nulls sec and sending storms into null its really interesting!

Yeah you will do well just be persistent this tends to be the biggest issue people have they make a 30 jump route and get halfway through and quit. Each system respawns sites every 15 minutes so a big route that doubles back on its is going to yield better numbers 😉
This is fantastic content, thank you for breaking it down
Thanks so much that means alot
FYSA: When you get a double sig, it is always the further away end point. You can drop to 1, and scan over that end. Same if you get a ring, scan on the further away side of the ring.
Yup :)
Thank you for a great video. This is very helpful for a returning player.
No problem at all welcome back to Eve
Sorry to keep asking questions. So when you get an escalation from an Anomaly do you run that right away or do you collect a few?
Run it straight away if you have time there usually where you biggest money will come from. Just avoid jumping into low sec. As for asking questions if I can help im happy too ☺
@@BonkersY2K if i set destination and run it straight away it breaks my path i set
Don't set destinations to your escalations instead show info on them click on 6th tab and look at the route just follow that 😉
Very nice vid and well put together.
You'll see that the site will despawn without the need to kill the turrets and you'll have gotten 1/2 more spawns or ships this ultimately increases your odds of a faction spawn and the accompanying escalation😉 let me know how you get on
@@BonkersY2K Will give it a shot! Thanks!
Wow, this is a great, clear and simple to follow guide, thanks so much!
Also, I would love it if you could do a guide for abyssal deadspace

BonkersY2K awesome, one final question, how long does it take to train into this fit, I’m very new and this seems like a good way to make Isk
For the hecate from New it is about 3 months but you cant do it as an alpha so bear that in mind. The Alpha Video one is 3/4 weeks depending on your attribute distribution
Great vid mate, nicely done and very informative for the newbros!
Thanks glad its helpful
I might've missed it in the video, but how do I set a route toward my escalation without losing the route that I already planned?
Show info on the location your escalation is at and then on the window that comes up select the 6th tab called route, follow this instead of setting destination 😉
Question, on your way to a escalation do you set it as your destination or waypoint and do you do combat sites on the way there in hopes of getting another escalation and loot. Also can you have more then 1 escalation at a time.
I show info on the location of the escalation system, the last tab then says the route to get to it. You follow this without setting a route this way you don't have to clear anything 😉

I am a lil bit confused about one part thou:
Which sites do you run exactly? Is it Combat Anomalies or Cosmic Signatures-> Combat Sites?
I saw you doing Hideaway, Refuge (anoms). But also Hideout, Lookout, Vigil?
Could you maybe give a List of which you recommend?
Hi phillip sorry about the confusion so you are running the combat anomolies while scanning for combat signatures.
Your video has given me much to think about. I would need to adapt it to my own needs, but there is much you discussed that I would need to learn how to do. Kinda feels like a large puzzle and I am missing several pieces.

A decently fit (t2 tank) cruiser works decently well, and is not overly expensive. At least for the regular sites.
If you're flush with isk, you could use T3Ds.
Thank you so mucho bro, the 4au thing and how correctly do the sites.
Your most welcome :)
So the turrets are not tied to the npc site and when the site is finished anything not tied to the site is cleared, signature disapeers, structures and space stuff like platforms and such explode to clear the site which is why if you finish the site, bookmark the wreck warp off and back you will see all that's there are wrecks, so by killing the turrets you are triggering the sites cleared mechanic that ccp use to "clean up"
I tend to always be out of cash :) those pesky bpo's are filthy expensive :)

Glad you enjoyed it
at around 18:00 you talk about getting a key from a container that is used to activate the gate?
Thank you very much, glad I could help 😊
Finaly found something to do... my scan skills are shit but i managed to get a exelation and got stuff for 70 mil not bad start! :D
Nice
How did you create the different tabs/folders for your items?
Station Vaults they each hold 1 million m3 each lol
The Vedmak is solid btw it's my favorite
You say at the beginning to scan anomalies and only do the Hideaways or Refuses - great. But then at 15:18 you enter a "Lookout". Doesn't that violate your initial premise? What am I missing?
Hi there no it does not i am scanning down signatures while I run the anomalies the o ly anomalies I run are hideaway and refuges the lookout is a signature that is found by scanning down the signatures while your running ghe anomolies your scanning down the signatures looking for combats sites specifically lookout hideout scout outpost vigil anything 3/10 or 4/10. I hope that helps and clears it up
@@BonkersY2K Got it. Thanks!
Hey thanks for the video. Quick question - the sites I want to do for a chance at an escalation are "Hideaway", "Refuge", and "Lookout", correct? Any others? I was having a bit of trouble figuring out which sites I do and which sites I skip.
Yup
Morning, are u going to make any more tutorials? They really help!!! Would love to learn triglavian runs and how u run them. Thank u
Are you running the escalations with the same Hecate or are you using a different ship/fit?
Same build as the one in the video bud
Shhiit ctype dropped that much?
I did remember when running sites in hs they cost around 450m
I've averages one in four for ctypes from the outpost
really nice vid. is this also efficient in a jackdaw or would u recommend hecate the most?
The jackdaw has to kite to perform as well and so looses out to the hecate 99% of the time so I'd take the hecate over the jackdaw everytime
@@BonkersY2K okay thank u ^^
Anytime mate 👍
@@BonkersY2K hi i have one more question. how much dps do u have with null/void?
Null is used for killing the npcs and should be your main dps, this I'm getting around 700dps, when it comes to structures and battleships use void and this will kill them faster with this ammo I'm getting 1093dps. Hope that helps
Hey man, great vid.
Do you think the jackdaw can rival the hecate for 4/10ded?
Also what about cruiser size hulls like ishtar or gila?
So the jackdaw can do ot but it requires alot more kiting and you make a mistake it will make you pay for it lol. As for the isobar and gila they work fine for the 4/10s but you won't be able to access the 3s which are faster to run and have a more frequent payout I find
@@BonkersY2K Are you sure about cruisers not being able to enter 3/10? Eve University Wiki says cruisers can go into 3/10s.
T1 can t2 and t3 won't fit
Angel Cartel sites don't seem to escalate, I don't think you covered this. Also you said tank EM/Thermal for Angels, but they deal Explosive/Kinetic. Why do you use a 400m Hecate out of interest? I use an 80mil Jackdaw and it does them faster with less risk.
The reason for the hecate is it can also run the escalations too, so 3/10 and 4/10s as well, the angel sites were not included in the list 😉
Great video, I'll go test it out!
Awesome although depending on your skills you might want to try through 2021 version both still work the Demak is just more versitile
you said you only do Refuge and Hideaways, but in video you show lookout escalation... so ? can you explain ?
I said to run the anomolys (refuge and hideaways) while you scan down the combat signatures (lookout is a combat signature)
Join my discord server its in the descriptin it w
I'll be easier to explain In there
@@BonkersY2K sounds good, cheers.
@@BonkersY2K Damn that's a fast answer! xD
Actually I expressed myself poorly I'm fairly new to pve and such, I meant level 4 escalations, difficulty level. In the video you say we're looking for level 4/10 ones right? Maybe that's another part I missunderstood (english isnt my good language), so I was asking about what faction space to hunt for escalations and what makes me have level 3 escalations sometimes (wich are really bad loot wise)
Although I didn't knew mission running could be good isk, I'll def try to look into that when I get some skills to spare! tyvm yet again!
@@BonkersY2K Roger, you're dope, keep it up! :)
Cheers, thanks for reaching out
So you run ded site in high sec only. Are they 4/10 and lower only?? Is there a better ship the hecate to do so?? Hecate seems almost too weak sometime...but that's based on my very, very limited knowledge on hecate.
The hecate is able to run all the 4/10s and some of the 5/10s but you have to be sensible with the 5/10s its more than capable 😀
At 20:58 when you looted the can you had no windows or anything pop up. how did you loot the can without any kind of ui opening?
I already had the inventory open for the ship the window pops up in that as a wreck instead. When yoir in space click on the open cargo hold button and then pin that windows 😀
can this be done in other ships? cant quite run the t3 yet. Also is an Armor tank ok to run these site or is there more of an advantage to shield tanks? Great video I will subscribe for more.
So I have a build using armour in another video check out the 2021 version 😉 this ship is fitted with a shield tank specifically because of its versatility and output. As it is this does 1000dps but if you put armour mods in instead it drops to 400 and becomes alot more cap dependant
how did you find sites with gates like at 21:14 and how do you get escalation? if you get it what do you do next?
Using the probes to scan it down, as for escalations, I run them depending on the sector of space its in
@@BonkersY2K how do you know what sector of space it is?
@@BonkersY2K when escalation is finished like in the video killing the griffin will give you the loot but what happens when you fully finish a escalation like go into the gate and continuing the escalation do you get extra loot?
No the faction npc is the prize
It tells you in the top right of your screen, citedal, amarr hemitar etc its its in this order, System, Constalation, Region
I've been doing these sorts of DED sites in a tech one frigate and I have to kill the towers first otherwise I can't tank the damage.
Should we ignore turrets in the anoms as well or just the escalation sites?
you ignore them in basically every instance unless they are a trigger for the next wave which only exists in 2 sites which i break down in my site by site guides :)
The EVE Workbench Fit you gave for Hecate is not working as the cpu recq are shown as 298 / 287.5 tf i.e. 10.5 tf more than available (I have all my engineering skills maxed out) ?? Has CCP changed Hecate's CPU amount since this video was made??
They did it was in a comment somewhere I found a fix its just a cpu implant and your golden
Although I would recommend looking at the more recent one the 2022 guide there is an entirely new build and I promise you, you won't be disappointed! The Dedmak is king
Do you have any recommendations for ships for newer players? T3 destroyers take quite a bit to get into :) I'm vaguely aware that there are some restrictions on fits for some of the gates or something like that?
Hi there, i sure do if you look in my videos you will see one for alphas this should help you out alot 😉
@@BonkersY2K thanks!
@@workingclasshero86 absolutely not a problen
would this work in a gila? i can already get into one of those as i was ratting out in null with it
@@workingclasshero86 sure wouldn't be as quick because your reliant on the flight times of the drones and you will be locking yourself out of the lookout which can drop a 5 stage escalation that has a faction rat at each stage 😉
Hi, i am pretty new to eve, huge help is this video thx. Do you do drone combat site aswell or do you leave them. I have been running them but the rewards they give are unrewarding
I dont touch them they have a 3% chance to drop a nexus key for a astero but ots just not worth it.
@@BonkersY2K and i assume you also dont do lvl 2 and higher? xD
(or both that I just don't get)
Subbed.... really liked your presentation style.
However I've got some spare for some reason and will apply them to the Hecate.
I'm logging in now to start this ball rolling. I'll look for the newer video too.
Again... thanks for the quick reply. I'll look for you in game but I imagine your probably not BonkersY2K in game.
If you have that many sp, check out the new video and the Dedmak you will like it for sure 👍
Bonkers2000 ingame, I used to have Y2K but the i sold the account 10 years ago on the character bazaar, I've tried to get it back but the guy won't sell it back 😢
@@BonkersY2K Choices choice....... more videos or get in game......... just can't resist a great RUclips tutorial :)
I'll check that video out now and see what this Demak is......
What kind of EHP do you have in the Hecate? Also I’m speced minmitar, could the svipul do it or maybe a cane?
Cane is too big, svipal lacks the dps. The Hecate has 11kehp and does just shy of 1000 dps
@@BonkersY2K Nice Im running a rapture doing these right now and it gets hairy in 3/10. Not enough dps to gun down the waves. 14k ehp ~300dps
Late to the party, but I have a question when it comes to Escalations.. Once you set a destination, your previous route is gone.. Do you just re-plan it from your current position? Or do you finish one, head back to station, sell, rinse repeat?
Nope so instead u use the show information on the location and click on the route tab and just follow the gates from that
Also might be worth checking out the 2021 version it uses a newer ship gives you more options and an insane tank 😉
There is some new stuff with the agency and stuff that gives you sp now plus all the daily sp bonuses
Really good explanation . well done
Thanks alot 😊
Is there an alpha clone fit for t1 ships to run those escalation in gallente/caldari?
Yep I released a video on it 😉
@@BonkersY2K Thanks! Your tutoring is perfect! I wished I had the same charm! XD
I try lol
i didn't get the part about keeping 75% momentum. could you explain this in more detail, plase ?
Cheers
Of course, This refers to your speed, at the bottom of your capacitor is the speed meter, its broken into 5 sections 0/25/50/75/100, you'll see 3 lines in your speedo too, this means you want to keep your speed above the 3rd line
@@BonkersY2K Thanks for the swift reply mate! As it turns out, i was just overthinking it and i got it right in the first place :D
Cheers!
Absolutely, glad I could help
These guides feature a lot of good tips...however, the downside is the difficulty in actually selling the stuff you collect for enough isk to make all the effort worth your while. Hardly any thing you are able to loot sells for the estimated value on the market...most items only a small fraction of that value!
No they sell very well, very very well, dont just limit yourself to Jita though, that is just nonsensical
Nice glad its given you some extra stuff to do
I'm seeing some negative posts here wich is you're right to do but I've followed the instructions and I'm up 10-15bill per week so say what you want it does work.
Haha genau
?
Nice video! I copied your fit, first time out, 3 jumps from Jita, accidentally jumped into a Triglavian system and died instantly, then got popped and podded again trying to loot my own wreck while watching someone in a noob ship steal 400M of my loot. Good times!
shit happens
I'm also a little confused in the video he says he only runs hideaways and refuges but these are anomalies not signatures
So your running the anomolies while scanning down the combar signatures sorry it was my first video and I will admit I was nervous and stumbling around but yeah hopefully that helps 😉
@@BonkersY2K yep I get it now tried a dry 40 jump run in a Gila and made about 250mil in 4 hours thanks for the video
Nice job 👏 glad its helped
Morning, was wondering after u get the escalation, how do u set destination there with out loosing you’re whole route? Or do u complete the full route and do escalation later? Thank u
Nope, if a site escalates in the agency tab on the escalations page I will show info on the system it wants me to go to look at the last tab on the info panel that comes up and just follow the route to it with out undoing my long route. It also means that I'm actually increasing my odds as while I am travelling toward the escalation jump for jump I will run the atoms and ded sites. Hope this helps :)
Great tutorial but one question: what kind of ship and stats do i need to use for these sites?
Pretty decent skills. Pictured in use is a tech 3 destroyer, i live in amarr space so i would use a confessor or a worm. Contact me ingame at Atesh Tarsha and i can give you some fits/tips
Watch the video lol its all in there
Hey man, love your videos and the energy, Lol.. One question tho, whats the percentage of getting an escalation because I'm trying the method, maybe I missed something..
Don't depend on the refuge and hideaway escalations they are a supplement to the combat signatures so scanning down those at the same time
@@BonkersY2K ahh I see the error of my ways, thank you Obi Wan ^^,
Lol not a problem 👌
@@relaxyourmind6838 I was doing the same thing as you lol
hey.. ok .. i think i figured what i was doing wrong... ship type.. that brings me to ask, is there anyway you can out together a cheaper fit for the hecate?
You can do this in a vexor and I am working on a new build that will do all the sites but its going to need some skills, the alpha video and the vexor though should help you its 80 mill and can do the 3/10s and the 4s but you need to be aware of your surroundings. I am really glad you stuck with this!
@@BonkersY2K ok will try that. Thanks Bud.
Sure thing
I know you sent a link to your fitting, but it won't open for me. So could you please send me the fitting by copying it from in game and pasting it here - thanks! Also a very informative video, will be using to earn more ISK. Also thanks for the tip about the signatures and planets.
Its in the description it opens an eve workbench and you just copy it from there 😉
Great video! How do I actually collect isk, do I have to search each cargo wreck of the npc's or do I have to loot the structures?
Your after the faction npcs they will be named specifically, if you have the eve uni webpage open, look for the ones with a great cargo container next to the name, ie go to guristas watch and in there it will show you which npc has the loot and what to do to trigger an escalation, you make the isk selling the faction items 😉
