Also, he tends to fall to his knees a lot, he does not wear knee pads, but the other contestants on the Singer actually bought him a surprise gift, a pair of knee pads because they were worried he would hurt himself. One of my favorite songs he does. You two are so respectful to the performance. I enjoy your reactions. There are some, and I see this a lot, that stop the performance and say what they think. The ones giving accurate and technical information I don’t mind so much. There are some who think they know what they are talking about only for Dimash to show through his performance that they are wrong about him. Its funny when they have to eat their own words. This is because they do not allow the performance to play all they way through. However, your reaction videos are not about teaching people how to sing or how he sings. It really is about your reaction, your feelings towards the performance. I like that Albert will give additional or background information as well. As far as this performance, it was not as epic or exciting as his performance on the Singer program. Please do check out that performance and notice the difference. Be safe you two.
Thank you for the reaction, it's a beautiful performance but unfortunately you chose wrong version because HERE, in Sochi there was a big problem with the microphone and the sound, he didn't hear the music. Dimash was in big trouble, but as a pro he sang to the end and as best he could under these conditions. Dimash had to fight hard to be heard at the expense of his voice, the microphone was too quiet Dears in Sochi were furious with this situation. But Dimash, as always, politely thanked and did not blame anyone. In Singer, the microphone was perfectly functional. I don't know if you want to, but watch the performance in "I am Singer" for comparison, because it's much better. Hugs and stay safe
The "better" version is actually the one from The Singer. Hopefully you will enjoy that one somewhere along the way. I've watched it dozens of times and was never aware of a microphone problem. He must have hidden it well.

When/if you do 'All by Myself it has to be 'the singer' version.. and turn it up! The singer videos have great audio quality, but I would say for daybreak the bastau version is worth the watch because he was sick for singer. Although doing a double for that song is an option. I, personally, think the Singer version is much better, with sub-titles; and it begins with Dimash playing the piano. (If you haven't been told, he plays seven instruments, and sings in twelve different languages.) I have never been aware of a glitch in the Singer performance. You might want to check it out just to compare. It's also more dramatic, if that's even possible. Great reaction, as usual.
I'm pretty sure he had issues with his microphone at this event so when it aired it was faulty but they managed to fix it for his official channel despite the audio being barely audible :P
I would follow the singer versions for starters then branch out. With the singer versions follow Gloria Wu's channel she has made some nice videos of backstage of what is going on behind the scenes and gives you some insight with what the song is about and you get to know a little about Dimash which will enhance your viewing experience greatly.

The other song is "Across Endless Dimensions" which is the main song on a soundtrack for a new Italian movie and that entire song is incredible, but the last note will literally knock you out of your chair.
The performance at Singer 2017 was so much better. No mic dysfunction. There was a mic dysfunction at the duet with Laure Shang for the Tribute to Michael Jackson (medley). And I e at Unforgettable Day at Gakku, though that is a must-watch because of the now legendary D8!!!!

He is super impressive.I really like his vocals on the Sochi version , just different things he does, where he adds weight etc. The thing with Dimash is that everything he does is to the highest standard and just fabulous. The volume of your video seems to be very muted, you might like to turn it up. I think the faulty mic was in a concert he did elsewhere.
