The writer of the song (woman) heard about this story and wrote the song from the perspective of the young boy, and eventually she adopted the boy. Around 35,000 fans came to Astana, Kazakhstan from many different countries to see this fantastic concert in 2017. This was one of his best performances of the night, Thank you!!!!

It made me cry though I can´t understand chinese and the video had not subs.
This is the first Chinese song Dimash heard when he was a boy. He was very moved by the story and Han Hung the composer/songwriter who sang it originally is now his friend. Han Hung was invited to attend the Bastau concert and was in the audience as he sang her song. They are still good friends.
The story behind this song is the following. Han Hong is a renowned songwriter and singer in China. She was very moved by a serious accident involving a cable car that fell to the ground in 1999, which occurred in the province of Guizhou, China, with loss of human life. A child survived and she adopted him, continuing the path of her parents who sacrificed themselves saving the life of her two-year-old son on that fateful day. She composed the song from the child's perspective in which she honored her parents for their sacrifice. This performance of Dimash is stunning, jaw dropping, sooo emotional, and more. It is one of my very favorites. Dimash had performed this on the Chinese show 'I Am Singer' in 2017, but was severely ill at the time and lost his voice. He had throat injections before that painful performance and again lost his voice after it was done. It is very good and emotional and brought tears. So, when he had his 1st solo concert in Bastau he was in fine health and he did this. It is an incredible performance and his vocals are beyond words. Thank you for your reaction and words to this one! This is a true story of a mother/father/young boy on a crowded cable car. The cables broke and before the parents plunged to their deaths, they lifted their young child to safety. There was a cable car in China that crashed down, as a result of being over-filled fell, killing 14 people. One young couple held their infant son above their heads, sacrificing themselves to save their child.
"Daybreak" is the tribute and lament of that young boy for the parents he'll never know. The song's creator later adopted that young boy. The first time I heard this song was this same rendition in the Bastau concert. It made me cry though I can´t understand chinese and the video had not subs.
This is the first Chinese song Dimash heard when he was a boy. He was very moved by the story and Han Hung the composer/songwriter who sang it originally is now his friend. Han Hung was invited to attend the Bastau concert and was in the audience as he sang her song. They are still good friends.

The story behind this song is the following.
Han Hong is a renowned songwriter and singer in China. She was very moved by a serious accident involving a cable car that fell to the ground in 1999, which occurred in the province of Guizhou, China, with loss of human life. A child survived and she adopted him, continuing the path of her parents who sacrificed themselves saving the life of her two-year-old son on that fateful day. She composed the song from the child's perspective in which she honored her parents for their sacrifice. Dimash collected that story, which she had heard since she was a child, and dramatized it with her voice and humanizing spirit. Greetings from Panama.

This performance of Dimash is stunning, jaw dropping, sooo emotional, and more. It is one of my very favorites. Dimash had performed this on the Chinese show 'I Am Singer' in 2017, but was severely ill at the time and lost his voice. He had throat injections before that painful performance and again lost his voice after it was done. It is very good and emotional and brought tears. So, when he had his 1st solo concert in Bastau he was in fine health and he did this. It is an incredible performance and his vocals are beyond words. Thank you for your reaction and words to this one! This is a true story of a mother/father/young boy on a crowded cable car. The cables broke and before the parents plunged to their deaths, they lifted their young child to safety. Han Hung, a well known Chinese singer, heard about this accident and adopted the little boy and wrote this song. Dimash knew of this and was deeply moved by it. The goosebumps and hypnosis induced by Dimash are the characteristics of his concerts and appearance on stage, which are shaped by his endless beauty, sometimes translucent, sometimes sensual, sometimes angelic !!! Dimash's cerebral hemisphere are like the mathematics of song. The precision, the climax of the pieces, the breath control, all are mathematical. Nothing higher, nothing lower. Absolute accuracy !!!
