Great video man! Thank you I only just learned about this speed healer through some of the Kawasaki forums. It's been driving me absolutely nuts having to do math while I ride. My 2004 V2K seems to be about 10% off. Definitely getting one of these.
Nice job explaining the install; glad it worked out. Two minor quibbles... well, one, really. Turn the background music DOWN!! It's nice to have something to fill the silence, but it's too loud. And then I turn the volume down. And then I can't hear YOU once you're talking again! And PLEASE... we do NOT need background music while you're talking - just makes it hard to hear for a guy who spent 10 years riding without earplugs and damaged his hearing. Other than that, good job. I'm going to see if that gadget is available for my 900 Classic LT.
Sorry for the late reply to the comment, it is annoying having a speedo that's out, I'm not familiar with the Harley's I guess if its and electrical speedo this thing would work, if its cable driven.. well that's above my skill set :)
The Speedo healer works like a charm and is super easy to install. The rear bag gaurds are Stock Nomad ones. what model do you have? I'd have to have a closer look, but the stock Nomad ones may fit other Vulcan models like the classic or meanstreak. Thanks for watching 👍
Great video I'm have the same issue on my 2000 vulcan 1500 classic fi would you know where the sensor for the bike is located? I was told the same place as where yours is but I think yours is a different year than mines help if you can thanks.
+3re Koats Kustoms G'day, cheers for watching, I'm going to assume the sensor would be in the same place, under the left hand side engine cover . In the video description I a link to the free online workshop manual I used to stumble my way through. Have a look at that and see if it's the same. I'm pretty sure the vn1500fi was the same from 2000-2004
@@BigRobMoto I've looked and looked but did not see it anything you can do to point me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. If you need my email address please let me know.

Great video. Hello from America. I’m dealing with the same issue on one of my Harleys. It’s probably a lot less technical lol.

Hell yeah man!! Other than removing a few parts, that made it a simple fix!! Now you don't have to " Math " on the go!!
Wow, never knew that product existed! Awesome.
Cheers, its a great little magic box 🤘
Healtech make wicked products
Awesome mate. Although having it how is was would save my licence haha
Haha yeah, I thought so too, maybe I should have kept it out 🤣
That's great gonna have to get one. Also which rear crash/saddle bag guards do you have. I can't find any rear one's anywhere?

Let’s Go!!! 🤙🏾🔥
Bad ass!! Great share Fam.
IT WORKS!!!
I have a 2015 Vulcan Voyager and it's off..same as my 99 Nomad... actually every Kaw i've owned has been "slow" lol
one thing about my bike which is better in a way. its a cable driven in the rear hub. can change gearin not worry about the speedo changing
That is definitely a bonus, the bucket of bolts truly is a magical beast!
Beautiful out
Cheers mate, it was a great day out there, I was lucky to get a good day amongst all the rain🤘
🤙🏾🔥🤙🏾
Now your bike is faster.
so much faster :)
@@BigRobMoto Unlike your reply (5 days) hehehehehe.
And it's all 100% legal. ADR's allow for a 10% speedo error, also as your tyres wear the speedo changes
+Garry K I never thought of tyre wear having an effect, but that makes sense for sure.
@@BigRobMoto Yeah I had my GPS on my Versys 1000 before and after a tyre change and it made 4 - 5 km/h difference
If the speedo is showing higher than actual speed, then when the tires wear (get smaller) it'll make the speedometer even MORE inaccurate.
What? Something worked on the first go!? But Rob, that's not how we roll...
It surprised me too, normally it's 7 attempts and budget blown
Healtech stuff always just works. They make really good stuff.
look at that amazing Beard
Stop it, flattery will get you everywhere!!
