I had a college exam during this game. I was reviewing my notes in the hallway when all the classes before mine came out checking their phones and going Posey hit a grand slam! Buddy and I finished our exams and ran to his dorm to finish watching it. Awesome day got an a on the exam too!
I was in college for this game as well. It was my sophomore year, and I didn't even try to come up with an excuse for missing class. I told my parents (both die hard giants fans) afterwards that I missed all of my classes for the day in order to watch, and they told me that I would have been crazy not to
I have a similar story. I was in college anatomy lab. I saw Posey hit that slam on my phone and yelled out in a dead silent lab session. I sneaked out to watch the last few innings at home which was close to campus.
Bluejays Sportshouse I’m pretty sure also Latos said something along the lines of he hates San Francisco and their fans are terrible, which makes his losing so much sweeter
@@bluejayssportshouse56 Latos hated the Giants with a passion and even broke Dave Flemming’s car window with a baseball. Guy was just a straight asshole. That grand slam basically ended his career
Pagan's catch to end the 8th might be the greatest Giants postseason defensive play this side of Mays. If he doesn't make that catch, it most likely gets by Pence and the Giants probably don't win.
God this game gives me more anxiety than any other postseason game that the Giants have played in their dynasty. That Jay Bruce AB in the 9th inning was the most nerve-wracking.
If Romo's hanging slider was a quarter of an inch somewhere else, it's amazing to think how different everything would be. I still can't believe we won that game
This was the most stressful game I had ever seen up until that point of my life.. sure we were up 6-0.. but the Reds didn’t give up.. chipping away little by little and it seemed like every inning they had men on. Up til the very end the intensity was so memorable to me.
Being a S.F. Giants fan since I was old enough to feel the pinch of every loss, and I got pinched a lot, especially the 7 game loss to the Angles. When the Giants won their first title in 2010 it was my first experience of a World Series title and the emotions that I felt actually caught me off guard. I knew I would be pumping my fist and jumping for joy, but the tears of happiness , 😢 i never saw it coming. It was special because I will never experience that type of feeling again. You only win your first title as a fan once
Oh my god I totally forgot about the signed baseball thing. That grandy was so great for so many reasons, and this is perhaps the best one. Friggin Latos. Ha!
I remember I was in 8th grade and I left 2nd period and had a cool science teacher playing the game I walk in a few pitches later posey with the slam I’ll never for over that moment
4:23 That home ump was terrible. Most his strike calls were waaaaaaayy outside. MLB really needs robo umps. They got to get these calls right, especially in the playoffs.

Same! Haha bombed the exam just so I could get out quick and watch the game
What city were you in?

Thank you Matt Latos for 2010 and 2012 championship
In your face Latos.
The grand slam is magical. But knowing the backstory is just insane
whats the backstory? I wasn't much of a baseball fan back then

The legendary Posey Grand Slam. Quieted the whole stadium down in an instant. Great work again!
I went ape shit when that happened. I was more excited because it was off Mat Latos.
I never in my life "heard" a stadium get so quiet so quickly.
Listen to all those happy fans.
Absolutely glorious
Just like Craws in 2014 WC
Posey's Grand slam and Crawfords at Pittsburgh LEGEND
Giants should invite Mat Latos to the next 2010 and 2012 Giants Champs team reunions.
This comment 😂😂😂😂
Mat Latos: I hate the giants; Also Mat Latos: gets shelled by the giants every outing

I think Panik’s double play in game 7 was better given circumstances but this one is up there too
It was 6-3 and 2 outs with 2 runners on. Maybe 2 runs score but Pence was right behind Pagan when you watch and was fast with a good arm.

8:14 The reaction of Latos and the catcher are priceless
Sean you've been getting me through this quarantine with these videos man. Thank you
Same, here! Thank you, Sean!

Fuck latos to this day
Thank you Sean, appreciate the effort
Manifesting some good vibes for tonight #BeatLA
glad I'm not alone. GO GIANTS, GO WEBB, BEAT LA!!!!!!!!!!
Buster Posey with that iconic grand slam... but also the iconic getting hung out on the celebratory high fives.
Maaaaaan Latos had that coming! Talk shit, you get HIT
Love the videos bruh so much nostalgia... I watch every one especially as of late, keep grindin 🔥🔥🔥
That one dislike must be Mat Latos.
i was in the 7th grade n checking the score in every class so stressed they still almost blew it
I think the Reds are still trying to recover from this game, they've haven't played well since 2013.
That's right lmao
Happy brithay buster posey 🎉🎉 37 years
My brother and I watch this game... and my gigantes won! Coo stuff yo!
Crawford was just great here bude.
8:27 GRAB SOME PIIIINE MEAT!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
3:25 Bruce strikes out Matt Cain? Did I hear that right?
you did
Mat Latos: 2022 still playing in the minor leagues.
Fun Fact: Latos was the Giants MVP for this game.
Dusty deserved to be fired for that double steal in the 6th. Terrible decision.
Killed the momentum of the whole inning. I like Dusty but that was a boneheaded one.
Edward Ferand he made a lot of questionable decisons in this game when you think about it tbh
Hope they sent Latos another ball!!! Hahaha
Reds manager really screwed up by leaving the pitcher in for posey and by calling that steal w jay bruce.
Payback against Dusty Baker for blowing 2002 Game 6 of the World Series
4:30 what the heck bro
8:04 you missed how Scutaro got on base right here
But idc because I’m just grateful you too the time and uploaded this. Just happened to notice it and I’m OCD 😂

8:15! you're welcome!!!!
Reds blew a 2-0 lead
Sadly that has been Dusty's postseason reputation
Sergio Romo HUNG that slider 😅
Who’s that one thumbs down? Looks...MLatos....yep.
Poor dusty baker. Really good coach, but not when it counts. Perfect example of "over-coaching".
