Awesome!
I will watch all of them
Bet
Games 1 and 2 of NLCS 2021 thanks. Braves need another Victory lap
@@chaseedwards3325 haha love those games but too recent
Nats fan here. Not forgotten. I vividly remember crying my 11 year-old self to sleep that night. Absolutely devastating.
Thankfully we got our ring seven years later.
I did the same but I was 12. Still havent recovered
@@shanebeyer7794 I'd say I recovered when we won the World Series, but it still stings
I'm just glad we got payback against them in 2019 NLCS
As a Mets fan it was very enjoyable watching the Nats fail in the postseason all those years. But in 2019 I was rooting for y'all especially after Harper left.
nats fans and people from the dmv are rich snobs
I never forgot this game, it tormented me for 7 years
At least you got to see the Nationals win the World Series in 2019
Do you still think of the name Pete Kozma?
@@devlinkeenoy8716 I do whenever I hear it haha
Daniel Descalso was the mvp of that game.
Kozma was the hero
Great video to wake up to. I never knew the Nationals led 6-0 at one point or that the Cardinals were down to their last strike.
HONEY WAKE UP FORGOTTEN CLASSICS IS BACK
2011-2013 Cardinals were some of the greatest teams I'll ever see in my lifetime. Die-hard Yankee fan and was very interested in these games, always wanted the Yankees to match up with the Cardinals, the 2 best teams.
I didn’t know that Kurt Suzuki was part of the 2012 Nationals Squad, so it made it a lot more sweeter when was part of the 2019 squad
Cardinals’ devil magic on full display
No way Drew Storen would've lasted that long in 2021
I tell ya man the Cardinals are always such a resilient team they never ever quit in games God bless them for this is a wonderful mentality to have
No
Yes
love these, keep em coming!
Pete Kozma’s One Shining Moment!
Pete kozma. Cardinals legend
So glad this series is back!!
Heck yes! This is one of my favorite series that you do on this channel. Keep ‘em coming!
Was at the game, heartbreaking but made 2019 much sweeter
And finally been waiting to see if this series would continue
Never could understand how Those Bryce Harper nationals teams couldn’t win a series
Bryce harper was there kryptonite
Then when Bryce Harper signed with the Phillies, the Nationals proceeded to win their first World Series lol
Wow literally just saw this as soon as it uploaded
oh baby i been waiting for this one
I was 5 years old. This was a horrible emotional roller coaster. I cried myself to sleep
I couldn’t forget this one
This game still gives me nightmares.
you're back and its the descalso game lets fkin go
Thanks for reminding me of a series I wanna forget…
The Freese post season of 2011 will always be remembered but that was one heck of a game by Daniel Descalso. And how important was Mott in those postseasons!
Back when Gio Gonzalez was good.
I got a good one for u game 2 of the 2017 World Series
To this very day Nationals fans will always boo Daniel Descalso and Pete Kozma lol
What can be worse for the best team in MLB like the 2012 nationals is by blowing a 6-0 lead in a decisive game at home to be eliminated like it can be the worst loss of the year for them. Also what’s interesting is that they didn’t walk Kozma in the 9th because the Cardinals have the pitcher spot on deck. Also it was some great comeback by the Cardinals
I love my Cardinals!
I was shocked to find out Pete Kozma is still in the MLB. He played in 3 games with the A’s in 2021.
That's a thing we may never see again, a starter giving up 6 runs before being pulled from a series-deciding playoff game.
Pain
I knew how this game ended but I never realized the Nats had a 6 run lead at one point
Good to be on the winning side of this game. Glad you guys could find the way to win and beat those cheating astros.
But these cardinals cheated too. In fact it got a front office guy sent to prison
@@iamjobu6101 Not really - Astros personnel straight up admitted to using/seeing stuff that Luhnow brought over. Read "Winning Fixes Everything" by the same reporter that broke the Astros sign stealing stuff and it more or less vindicates Correa.
@@TrololzillaOG what do you mean not really? The cardinals literally hacked the Astros org. It got a man sent to prison.
@@iamjobu6101 Logging in to a system using a password that hadn't changed from the original system is hardly hacking. Plus it's not like the Astros really had any data the Cardinals didn't already have; Correa did it to see how much they stole from the Cardinals. More than one Astros FO employee has straight up admitted that there was enough on their systems that multiple Astros employees would have also gone to prison if MLB had investigated them at the time, but no one wanted to raise a stink since it would've opened the flood gates to airing every organization's dirty laundry, so Correa was more or less sacrificed to sweep the whole thing under the rug. If anything, the Astros benefitted from the whole ordeal more than anyone was punished for it other than all the other teams in the AL West since the Astros unfairly received two extra picks in the draft.
@@TrololzillaOG a lot of words to try and change the fact that a man from the cardinals organization went to prison… which is literally all I’ve been saying lmao bozo
Dang the nats bullpen choked so much while the offense and Harper produced
Now can you do every comeback of the 2021 season
2020 AL wildcard A’s white Sox game 3
10:24 that easily could’ve been called a strike and ended the game. Tough take on 3-2
It's one thing to get beaten by the best, but it stings all that much more when it's the likes of Descalso and Kozma that rip your heart out.
Alcides Escobar destroyed the Jays in '15 and I will never forgive him.
Idc if we won a WS a couple years later. This still fuckin’ stings like alcohol in a wound.
The Cardinals for 4 years were virtually unkillable in the playoffs. I doubt any team will perform on the edge like this again.
Certainly a classic, but I wouldn’t call it forgotten lol. Everyone knows about this game.
Hey exe I have a recommendation for one coming up, Red Sox Yankees ALCS game 3 1999 at Fenway. Pedro vs Clemens
still waiting for the indians 8-3 comeback agains the yankees in cleveland alds game 2
Great game, wish Dick Stockton didn't call it lol.
2003 ALDS Game 1 Red sox vs A’s
Anyone really not a fan of this commentary?
Cardinals shouldn't have even been in this series.. 3 words... Infield Fly Rule
