Not a giants fan. But often you see a team make a season turn off of one game. A game like this happens and they ride the wave. They believe in themselves afterward. I watched this video not knowing anything about this game or even when it was played. But I knew the Giants had been slumping pretty hard. This just had the feel of one of those games I mentioned. Sure enough I see they took this and then the next two from Milwaukee. It will be interesting to see if they keep it going after the break.
They show Hader's last outing giving up a walk off homer after a single and walk, then almost the same thing happens here. Couldn't have set it all up more perfectly
Goes to show you, even All-Star closers can get rocked when you are a one-pitch pitcher. Helluva comeback by the Giants. Stole that one for sure. You have to wonder why Hader only threw one breaking ball the ENTIRE inning?

What many people don't realize about this game was that prior to the 9th inning the Giants had been playing terribly. Their defense was absolutely awful. That's part of what made this come back so unexpected. And as previous posts have said, that's what makes this game so great!

Good thing I started to watch the 9th inning, I didn't start watching till after Slater got a single. To be honest I thought the game was over when It was 5-3 heading into the bottom of the 9th inning, when Bart hit the home run, I still thought that they were going to lose, but after Ruf hit the hr and then Slater with a single I started to watch the game and as a giants fan I nearly had a heart attack watching it. Feels like in every game the 9th inning is the most interesting one.

Nice, aggressive at bats. Love to see the hitters getting on early count strikes. Not to mention the marbles on the basepaths there. That is a finish, for sure!
He has some worries on the home front. I believe his wife had complications with the birth of their child, and was the reason he wasn’t going to pitch in the ASG, opening a spot for Rodon. It certainly could have been a factor, although he seemed to be throwing the same heat.
I was a fan of Mike Yastrzemski's grandfather Carl who played for the Boston Red Sox. This was an incredible comeback for the Giants, so nice to see Carls grandson so such an incredible job in this game. His grandad Yaz would be proud !
I haven't seen their City Connect jerseys yet. I'm guessing it depicts homeless camps or images of mountains of used syringes? That would be pretty cool.

The stars in this game were the fans. All you guys breathed life into that team in those final innings. You were loud and cheered for the club even when you were down. Respect to those fans. Never quit. Never give up.

Good sarcasm there. I like how your comment describes what happened in the video. Nice insight
@@strawberrydaiquiri6730 thanks
Not a giants fan but it hits everytime I hear that “Out of here”
Good thing I started to watch the 9th inning, I didn't start watching till after Slater got a single.
Giants fan on the east coast and had to go to bed in the 6th inning. Imagine my surprise seeing the score and the 6 run 9th the next morning, glad I got to watch the half inning in its entirety even if it wasn’t live. This team has fight for sure, just missing a couple pieces and a couple guys *cough Bart/Crawford to hit to their potential. Go Giants!
It was 5-2 going into Bottom 9th!
Sports moment of the year so far.
Kruk & Kuip are the best broadcast duo in baseball
No doubt. And the gap between them and the second best duo is WIDE
Pretty boring imo
Not even close lmao
John miller is the best too
@@geebee380 nah he’s not very good imo bc he gets too side tracked
I will NEVER get tired of Kuip say "IT IS OUTAAAA HEERRREEE!!!" 🥲
I love the supportive heckler in the background 😂
Nice, aggressive at bats. Love to see the hitters getting on early count strikes. Not to mention the marbles on the basepaths there. That is a finish, for sure!
That is why I love the sf giants fan forever. Never gave up and are patient waiting for their pitch
Outta here! That never gets old!😃
Bart, Ruff, and Yaz were so clutch. Amazing
I'm a Giants fan and was happy to see them come back and win. That said I think there's something wrong with Hader, his stuff use to be unhittable.
The pitch he hit Mercedes with was 98, so it doesn't seem like it's a physical problem.
He has some worries on the home front. I believe his wife had complications with the birth of their child, and was the reason he wasn’t going to pitch in the ASG, opening a spot for Rodon. It certainly could have been a factor, although he seemed to be throwing the same heat.
Seems like vintage Edwin Diaz. This “comeback” is on the pitcher.
I was a fan of Mike Yastrzemski's grandfather Carl who played for the Boston Red Sox. This was an incredible comeback for the Giants, so nice to see Carls grandson so such an incredible job in this game. His grandad Yaz would be proud !
no one deserves this more than the young man in the front row (nice city connect jersey too, my personal favorite out of all of the connect series)
As a Giants fan I think the city connect jerseys look horrible, but we always win in them so I guess they can stay
I haven't seen their City Connect jerseys yet. I'm guessing it depicts homeless camps or images of mountains of used syringes? That would be pretty cool.
@@sawmill035 wow so edgy bro
@@JS-st9gs I mean, is that wrong though?
@@sawmill035 nah it's a white jersey with half of a G on it
This is why i LOVE BASEBALL... its never over till its over...
Bro the crowd…some of the best sports fans I’ve seen
Long time Dodger fan and I have seen many a game against the Dodgers and other teams where the Giants make a huge comeback and win in late innings. Part of what makes baseball ⚾️ fun to watch.
Wow, Hader gave up six runs.😳 Great comeback by SF.
The stars in this game were the fans. All you guys breathed life into that team in those final innings. You were loud and cheered for the club even when you were down. Respect to those fans. Never quit. Never give up.
I AM A YANKEES FAN BUT LETS GOOO GIANTS!! MIKE YASTRZEMSKI OUR MAN!! HE WAS SO CALM AND LOOKED SO HAPPY! WAY TO GO GIANTS!!🧡🖤🧡🖤
Now that was a SPECTAULAR finish! Not really a Giants fan but this game or the walk-off win against the Mets might be their best games of the season!
I’m a dodgers fan but I love the team sf has. I always find myself cheering for them I was shouting last night what a game
Same
I always say I'm a baseball fan first, as a Giants fan I hate the Dodgers, but they got some guys that I really like to watch play, specifically Chris Taylor
@@ferrisxd1656 id say the same thing about myself. I don’t hate anyone… except the Astros
@@ferrisxd1656Nice to see CT3 get some recognition outside of people who are Dodger fans.
What an epic comeback by the Giants. Awesome!
I'm not a Chicago Bulls fan but wow what a comeback win
It's pretty good but the Giants vs Mets game was insane with both teams coming back repeatedly.
yeah this 49ers vs the San Jose Sharks game was amazing glad I was there to watch it.
@@ajpvxx I will actually give you the benefit of the doubt since I was not there myself --- but I must say, if you are totally convinced that you were at a 49ers / Sharks game, then I would say that sometime during that amazing sporting event you must have been hit with either a very hard tackle or a Slapshot straight to the noggin. Maybe both.
Mary Lou Rettons routine on the parallel bars really changed the outcome of this match
I AM A GIANTS FAN AND I WAS ON THE EDGE OF MY SEAT WATCHING THE LAST INNING LETS GO GIANTS
Just one more reason why baseball is an amazing sport
This is the magic that makes Baseball special!
I love how the GS ball goes right in the brewers bullpen and no one reacts at all LMAO
13:40
Never even turned!!🤣
Just sitting down 🤣🤣😴
Gotta love a great comeback! Giants really needed this one.
And to do this against Hader! Wow. I m a Dodger fan and I can say, I admire the Giants on this one
Hader , so overrated
They said it couldn’t be done. They said no team could ever come back from a 3-run deficit in the 9th inning.
Truly an ending for the ages.
What a moment for kid Yaz!!!
I almost left my boys house thinking the Giants had lost…little did I know I was about to witness some of the best baseball a person can see.
Edit: I am a fool for ever doubting the Giants, and as I Bay Area resident I apologize profusely.

Blue Jays fan here. Yaz was before my time, so it's great to see a Yastrzemski playing in the majors for anybody. Baseball's the best for stuff like that IMHO.
Absolutely amazing. I've never seen 6 runs in an inning before!
Good sarcasm there. Should anyone be interested, the modern record (modern meaning post World War I) for most runs in 1 inning was set by the Boston Red Sox almost 70 years ago in 1953 --- the scored "18" runs in a single inning against the Detroit Tigers and it was in a game that Ted Williams did not even play in (he was off fighting the Korean War).
I’ve never seen 6 runs in the bottom of the 9th before.
This isn't football and Basketball when you KNOW the game is over. In this sport, it isn't over until you make 27 outs.
Hader’s confidence has take a blow (no pun intended) the last few days. The giants absolutely destroyed him
It was great but it wasn’t UNBELIEVABLE. It’s just a blown save.
OMG WHAT A GAME! GO GIANTS!
Yes sir
Now they are only 13 games back from the Dodgers….lol
@@mikem3789 I’d hope so the dodgers have an all star team 😂😭
@@tjjj.j1 great team. Terrible Manager.
@@mikem3789 Roberts isn’t horrible but he’s not the best for sure
I've watched this 5-6 times......goosebumps.
Haha, right?

Thank you MLB, for doing this. I can only listen to the radio and watch highlights here so this was a special special treat with the added bonus of hearing Kruk and Kuip call it.
