did this job yesterday. Found the harness plug in the dash from this video. thanks!! for the comments about reliability…the Lexus I’m doing has 79,000 miles. The nipple on the upper hose broke off and the customer drove it until it quit. it’s got a plastic T in the upper hose. It’s a common failure part. So is the nipple on the radiator itself.

Holy cow, a 2WD RX350 in the wild! I don't think I've ever seen one but I know they exist in the lowest trim level.
BTW, both holes you used for lift brackets are 1.25 pitch threads. And there are brackets specifically designed for balanced lifting you can buy, they are in the regular OEM parts catalog. They've been saving money on preinstalled V6 brackets since the 3MZ-FE or 1MZ-FE, I can't remember.

There is no lowest trim level. An rx350 is an rx350

@@GivingItAllIGotToGive I understand your pedantry, but I just tossed out the word "trim" on a casual social media platform. Lexus's technical specs found in Model Code list the "grade" as 2WD or AWD for 2007 RX350 (specific to this video). Their technical service info uses the term grade to mean trim. When shopping for your next "rx350", tell the salesperson he's wrong for suggesting there are base, F-Sport, Premium, Premium Plus, Luxury, etc grades depending on year/destination.

I am in the process of removal of engine Day 1, along with removal of struts did you have to remove the 3 bolts to release the ball joint for removal of hub assembly from the axle?

After all the disconnections did he lift the lexus body up thereby dropping the subframe.? Didnt show that part...

    • @TechnicianRed

Yes that's how I did it. Don't forget to strap the body onto the lift or it can fall off the rear of the lift due to the reduced weight in the front.

@@TechnicianRed Am gonna remove engine off my 2009 RX350 in a day or 2, so tryin to get this right, I lift the entire front n rear body in stages with the jack, place jack stands in increments. Once that gives me clearance at the bottom front I can dolly the engine/tranny out the bottom front.? Thanks

      Until they aren't.

Most likely transmission issues. These vehicles are extremely reliable. They install the same way as removal from factory.
