Juno is a success and it’s simple. She is a support that can add a lot of team value, but has risk. She isn’t free. She doesn’t have any immortality, no get out of jail card that gives her three extra lives, and she doesn’t outright do better damage than the DPS. Good job blizzard.

I don't think she's balanced she has utility and good healing. Usually healers are more focused on one over the other. Having a hero that does both with no downside isn't healthy.

I think that's actualy a good thing. If I think about it besides Zen (dont count brig and mercy because both can heal the self's by either healing or doing dmg) there isn't any other support that can't heal themself making them all often extremely frustrating to kill. Now add her similar to mercy mobility and hitbox. With a self healing ability she would be another character that just has everything at once making her not just extremely hard to balance but also frustrating to play against
That way she's more about positioning awareness and using her mobility to weave in and out of cover, whereas with Lucio sometimes I just straight up tank dmg like bullying a Dva when I have amp. Dva is actually a really good counter to her since you can eat the alt fire and follow her when she flies
she actually has incredibly mobility , i main genji and his jumping and juking around translate to her very well. you just have to do it right. for example, you can save your double jump for your hover. why would you do this? juno gains a speed boost when she activates her hover, similar to echo. so you jump once, hover, juke around, then jump again to quickly move. then you can cancel early so you dont fall slowly.
Blue shield is a way of self healing, plus she has the supp ability that makes her self healing trigger twice as fast than any other role, plus the blue shield recovery and passive self healing stack with eachother, and she's so mobile that it will be like tracer and she won't need that much healing, also she seems barely bigger than kiri but she can fly, so she often be way farther away than any most of the healers, even farther as ana as she will have more lines of sight, and she's quite precise at distance and has more ammo than ana, so... yeah, I hate it already, another almost invincible character @@empty3038

You’re basically giving up all cover and you’re not even gaining an extra axis of movement to compensate. It’s great for traversal and initiating into a fight from a flank route but mid fight it’s almost worthless for escape or avoiding damage.

RE: the ultimate, I imagine the lore of it is that its a large scale version of Mercy's staff, that she gave the tech to overwatch to put in a satellite. So I bet it does same healing and damage boost that mercy does, its like a combined ray
some things i’ve noticed from testing. Jump-dash-double jump+hold is the most optimal for height +movement control. you can also , while gliding using the dash ability, you can go up slanted inclines! it is insane
When i was playing her, it felt a lot like playing the best parts of mercy, where youre moving around a lot to help critical teammates while doing damage (or damage boosting) where you can

the projectile applys the speed buff too, is what i've found, not just the ring once it's deployed, since it comes from Juno she gets affected by the speed the moment she fires it off.
I think Juno might be Echo's support kit before she got moved to dps, i'm sure I remember Jeff or someone mentioning echo had been trialled in all roles with different kits
I really like how they made her only self sustain aside from self regen and sheilds is her mobility, which still isn't a get out of jail free and feels frustrating to play against. And has no self healing cooldowns. She's a good example of a fun support that's not super frustrating to play against. And of course, no cleanse or invicibility
Don't know if its intended but her torps can track a reaper through teleport(if you lock on prior to the tele) and around walls, which makes it a really good finisher on someone running away or flying.
Did this with a Lucio like three times in one game of Lijiang Tower night market. He was trying to skate away on the buildings away from the CP at low health and the torpedo followed him around the corner and killed him 😂 If he had been on heal rather than speed he probably would have been fine though
Her right click locks on faster to anyone that is closer. If you turn off the toggle activation, there may be some situations where you would want to fire your right click early to hit a specific target but can't cuz it won't shoot until it is locked on on everyone on your screen

my only gripe is it feels like it takes 50 years for her lock on to fully lock on and thats assuming you dont lose line of sight for even a second. or atleast it feels like it takes forever

i honestly hope they clean out the dustbins on her right click. it is such a long wait for that heal it can be hard to say it's worth it to stop firing to do it. if they just mapped it to fire on right click release then we could still keep firing our gun while it's out. Also kinda wish the healing element passed through walls, they already have to wait 3 business days to get the heal please don't let my dumbass teammates go through a doorway and escape me saving them.
Juno and Brig combo is crazy work. I genuinely didn’t expect the yield of results I got because Juno does big Heals why Brig plays both in front and behind keeping enemies at bay and protecting Juno

a lot of movement abilities do use the person speed at the moment, so with venture if slowed and tries to dash it isnt as far. same with juno ( atleast with speed boost that I know of)
I can't speak for everyone else, but I don't like them as much because they come off as a combo burst hero like doom used to be and I don't enjoy playing against those as much because I am slow slow and terrible at the game. :(
People were super hyped for Venture from what I remember. The only reason I saw for it dying down slightly is that they released a little hot off the presses and felt too strong. If you want a hero people REALLY didn’t give a shit about for long, just look at Lifeweaver.

Me and my team tried her in a scrum setting and we found she’s amazing in the brawl vs brawl matchup cos you can alternate speed boost with lucio and they can’t keep up

I think they missed the trick to make her shift completely carry her momentum and full direction, effectively turning off gravity for her for a moment.
They finally added another support where shooting teammates heals them. I feel like that's part of what makes Ana so fun to play.

She does have healing fall off. It’s pretty hard to see in the video, but it’s definitely noticeable from longer ranges from when I played it in game.

Cassidy deadeye + Ana primary fire + Mercy dmg boost + Lucio speed amp + Genji double jump + echo float

And old orisa ult combined with a moving life weaver ult

There's a cap on speed at 75% bonus I believe so they do stack but it would be better to cascade them outside special situations imo
