I just finished watching one of your older videos… and a new video popped up! Yay! I am always glad to see a video from you & more footage of my beloved Haiti. ❤️
Wow! Thank you for sharing this beautiful cultural event/video with us. Amid all of what is currently going on, it’s nice to see that life is still going on. I miss my country.
SUMMER is here in NYC and if you're not eating Hatian mangoes I don't know what you're doing with your life, I don't mess with DR mangoes nor avocados, they're just tasteless, I'm very happy I scrolled onto this video it makes me happy to see something positive coming out of this beautiful country for a change.....Thanx 4 Sharing🌹
I always enjoy your vlogs, they give me a clean view of my country unlike what I've been seeing and hearing in the news. I left not too long ago, almost 2 decades; I knew and liked mango fransik, mango blan and mango kòn (used to be the most expensive one). I like mango fransik for the tòtòt purpose😊 but mango blan was always my favorite.
This was so beautiful! Thank you for highlighting the events and places ❤️ I’m trying to find creole speaking Haitian content creators, but it’s challenging.
Bravo et félicitations moun Okap yo. Se yon konsa nou min se pa kote yon ap goumin ak pavle wè lòt, divizion, ap fè dèyè, min yon Haiti kap avansé kap progresé pou tout moun ladan l viv alèz
From my experience, things that are exported tend to have better Ingredients then then the things in the US. Certain dyes and chemicals have been removed.
Rutty merci anpil!! Your vlogs are so beautiful!! They give me such a longing to come back home it has been 9 years!!! Too long!! Quick question where did you get your braids done? Who is taking them down??? Love your videos happy you and your husband are safe!! Cannot wait for more videos!!
Thanks hun! I did my braids myself. It took 10 days, but it was worth it. I know I wouldn’t find anyone willing to do them so small & long so I just did them myself.
I was in Haiti 1998. Second day of carnival as I was getting to Shanmas there was a Blackout. People the power outage lasted a good 45 minutes. Everyone stayed calm Pose not even a bottle was thrown. Our people are so much better than advertised. Haiti will be back. Educate the Youngs. We need to depopulate Port-au-Prince.
Out of the 3 I showed, I only like wozali. I thought I had the jan mari one before but it looks similar to another one. I tried it for the first time but don’t like the taste & it detaches too easily from the pit as you bite into it.
Nice little quick trip. I came looking for your channel because someone here in the states just shared a story about how bad things are in Haiti right now. The story went on to say that armed gangs are keeping food from coming in and parts of Haiti are on the verge of a famine as a result. How does this align with what you’re seeing when you are in Port-au-Prince and other places? I only ask because so often the news portrays a situation to be a lot worse than it really is for the sake of a good news story. Now with social media and vloggers, like yourself, there’s no reason we shouldn’t be asking these questions to quickly see if we are being lied to. I hope all is well Sis.
Hey! Yes, most of the entry points into the West have been compromised. Food vendors usually have to pay in order to get into the department. But I don’t think we’ve reached the point of food insecurity because goods end up entering the West someway somehow!

I think my mother was born in port mago not sure if that's the correct way to say it. I left port au prince to the u.s since 1986. Can u visit that City to see how it looks like these days. I'm 50 years old now and I left Haiti when I was 12 years old. Thank you. I'm from New Jersey
i left haiti in 1999 when i was 14 and now i'm 37 living in orlando florida working as a security guard. I'm also into personal development and the mind and i have made a lot of videos on those subjects on my channel. Would love support from the haitian diaspora. if more haitians knew how the mind works then maybe we could become millionaires and billionaires and help our people 5/5/2023
I am confused is this recent? I thought the entire country was in turmoil? It’s looks like it’s only in PAP. It’s like a whole different world than what you see in the media.
Lots of people don’t know that Haiti has 10 departments. Most of the issues are in the West. This video takes place in the North, which is a 5.5 to 6-hour drive from the West.
So glad to see you!!! This type of hair is NOT the proper style for our society. Every time I see a man with it , I always associate it with bad company. I can’t help it . Stay safe out there.
My neighborhood has never had any issues & the places in PV I go to don’t either. So far the issues are on the Meyotte & Malique side. I would never buy a house here cause the building standards aren’t always respected & I need to see the process. Instead, I’d buy land & build.
Serious Question: Who is running Haiti since there is no Gov't? Are there Gov't services in place, who pays the police, maintain the countries public infrastructure, airport, etc? The media is saying there is no Gov't in place, the gangs have taken over the county. So I am a bit confused.
There is a caretaker government in place and people who worked in public administration (airports and other government offices) still have their jobs. As for the gangs the problem is widespread and concentrated only in the West department and the Artibonite department to some extent. The other 8 departments are more safe.

I’m glad you are there 🥺. I’m coming also. Trump said everyone is leaving Haiti and that someone will start buying it and that there won’t be no Haiti in the future if people keep leaving the country. 🥺
Trump has called a lot of things that turned out to be true. Kinda like South Park. I can’t tell people to stay in Haiti but I know that they’re fleeing thinking one day they’ll come back. Truth is they won’t. The majority that is. I’m still in exile tho my situation was different.
Trump was not lying😮 if everyone leaves haiti and it empty some one else will take the island and make it their island, it won't be haiti anymore it will belong to another nationality. Ppl might think trump is crazy but he is not lying about the future for haiti. Everyone can't leave otherwise it won't change

I love the one they sell here in New York, it is called Haitian mango.
That’s most likely mango fransik cause that’s the one that meets the exporting standards.
@@ruttyb Yes it’s Mango Fransik

Wait, so how are the mangoes? That Jan Mari looks like one we have in Brazil, it’s great
Out of the 3 I showed, I only like wozali. I thought I had the jan mari one before but it looks similar to another one. I tried it for the first time but don’t like the taste & it detaches too easily from the pit as you bite into it.
Wozali and batise are my favorites. It is difficult to find them here in Provo where I live, although the vendors bring mangoes here from Haiti
Beautiful content...but i have to say mango batis is my favorite

Port Margot is absolutely beautiful, been there several times.
More than 100. My favorite are mango île et madame francisque
I’m wondering if the export only doesn’t have the dye in it that’s banned in other countries? Might be healthier lol

Is all the gang activity localized in Cite Soleil?
It’s in most of the West Department now.
Is it in Petion Ville? Are you afraid to leave your apartment?

Hi there I am amazed that you're in Haiti with all the crazy gangs. Aren't you afraid?
Haiti is a big country. Everywhere isn't like Port au Prince. There are many very safe provinces and cities.
Reginald Boulous is in charge of the commerce in Haiti. What is he doing with the export only???? That’s weird 👀
