Great job!! When this pandemic is over we will come visit! My mom is from Petion Ville😊 She would love to visit! Would love to have a family reunion here. Thank you for representing Haiti well😊❤
I'm an RN and would love to connect with you to maybe organize a health screening in Haiti. I've been wanting to do that for a long time but I don't know where to begin.
Hi Alicia...I am an RN as well and have been going to Haïti almost every year with my church for medical mission trips...I can definitely connect you if you’re interested
@@myrthanormil9447 that would be great!! Let me know what form of communication is best for you. Maybe an email then we can exchange contact info. My email is alicia5008@yahoo.com.
Myrtha Normil sorry to butt in, have guys ever thought about building clinics then train local nurses to do some of the work ? I’ve met a lotta medical folks who come down here (to do missions ) although I like the idea but the only way to make a real impact on the country is by building and train the locals to take care of their own just in case something happen and y’all can’t go down there

Hi. I have been to VT a couple of times. It’s a great place. I like the vintage style of the property. VT is quiet and nicely situated at the center of PV with great views. I will only hope for a switch to platform beds in the future. I do love the place. ❤️
Been there....very nice hotel..reasonable price. ❤. We stay there for about a week...The food was on point... beside the restaurant hours....I have no complain....America spoiled us...we like to eat late lol Nonetheless teenagers enjoyed the mangos & the pool.😁

I want to tell all Diaspora Visiting Haiti, Do not take no shit from no one, if their customer service is not up to standard, make noise, don't say oh its haiti. Their prices are more than US prices while they paying their employees in gourdes. The Racism in Haiti is worst than the US, and once they have your money, its hard for them to refund you, and that is unacceptable. Let's say you give deposit of 300 dollars, and you checking out, its hard for them to give you back your money. All the hotel in Haiti take the Diaspora for idiot, please let's show them how shit gets done, how customer service gets done. And the prices for their food, is ridiculous.
@@njjjjjjjjhhhs What Media, you want the Dallas Morning News to go down to Haiti to advertise a 20/30 rooms hotel? Where are the haitian media, Haitian Tourism and Haitian culture ministries. Last heard from the media, national and international that kidnapping, innocent killings, govt corruption flooding due to lack of infrastructure are quite rampant in mighty Haiti. As long as You folks remain in power, Haiti is doomed.
How much do you pay your Haitian employees? I mean, you are in Haiti creating jobs right ? I won't make the assumption that your someone typing up a storm on RUclips while doing absolutely nothing to really help the country yourself per your beliefs and just lobbying judgemental comments to those who are... Starting the conversation with what you've done and how others can do it too is the only productive means of conversation when it comes Haiti....
@@SeeJeanty well for your information , I pay my employees well for my business. I own a landscaping company in south Florida, look it up jp lawn service. The reason I asked that is because so call haitians want to open busnisses to charge high fees but seems to not understand one of the biggest problems in haiti is not paying haitians a living wage and you wonder why haitians have to their homeland to go to work in countrys that are not towards us. that's why i ask how they pay? Because if they people haitians a living wage you wouldn't be here being all defensive
OVERPRICED. this is one of the main reasons diasporas are unwilling to travel to Haiti . They average 150 to 200 a night. That’s ridiculous, especially during a pandemic.
Yes and no. You have to be willing to see it another way. The city doesn't provide electricity. The hotel has to buy a giant generator and put gas in it and run it basically 24/7. The city doesn't provide water. The hotel has to have huge water safes and they either buy water or have a special system to capture, filter and treat rain water. The local police is weak, the hotel has to contract a private security firm for 24/7 rounds. Everything that you can think of, that normally would be a bill with the City or not even a concern elsewhere, in Haiti needs to be built from the ground up by setting up expensive systems and running them. People think that because it's a poor country, everything should be cheaper, and it's true in terms of human labor and local groceries, but not true for everything that we have to get from the US or create to fill the void created by lack of proper governance. Washing machines, dinnerware, ovens, AC units, all of it is paid twice the price because it's bought in the US, and shipped to us by plane, which cost almost the same as the appliance. Please ask any family member of yours living there to check the price of a phone and compare it to the price of that same phone in the US. It is at least a 50% markup.
So what?? D.R hotels are going thru the same thing yet there prices are much lower. Haitians need to stop trying to get rich in a one day. Even rental cars are so much expensive in Haiti. We Haitians need to stop price gouging and allow tourists to come and enjoy Haiti.
The prices range from as low as $75 a night to $300 a night a different hotels. These hotels are very beautiful. Two things that are holding me back right now are insecurity and COVID-19. If not, I would be taking a trip to lakay.
If you can’t afford this hotel that’s fine. @seejeanty also presents other hotels that may be in your price range, if not just keep frequenting DR. This channel is about uplifting HaIti, that opportunity isn’t for everyone.
esther archange I go where I get more bang for my buck., mwen pa la pou ashte figuy moun ok. I was there last year, the prices are ridiculous, you wouldn’t know this because you never travel to Haiti or anywhere.
Wow. Nice. But it is empty. Most hotels in Haiti are failing and are not making a profit. They do not invest in political stability or security which are the drivers of their losses. Haitian investors seem to have no real knowledge of economic efficiency.
