The Real Kenny G. Kenny Garrett.☺️
@@pauls.7617 this guy is an ufo 🛸 he’s not human .. no wonder Miles Davis him self played with him until he’s last days on earth .. Kenny G in my opinion he’s is the greatest saxophone player ever .. the man has so much style swag beautiful harmonic world very stylish tasteful improvisations 🎷 👑
Wow!! Hadn't heard this live in awhile!

Auf diesem Konzert in Baden-Baden war ich mit dabei. Damals sah ich Marcus Miller zum ersten Mal live. 2019 sah ich ihn bereits schon zum 4. Mal im Tollhaus Karlsruhe.
Bernard Wright having some MIDI issues in Rampage. But yeah - killer concert - true classic after all these years!
Looks like he is dialing in his patches and adjust volume to me.
we lost him - much too much - too soon in May '22 ... what a tragedy
Anyone knew this great fella had been discovered by Michal Urbaniak? Just have got to know this after years of knowing M.Miller's music. Both above musicians are amazing talents and it's a great pleasure to listen to them playing.
Ha, cool.. didn't know that at ALL! Did he tour with Urbaniak in the first years Urbaniak was in the US, or..? I have a few short, but BRILLIANT live recordings from back then.. I believe both recordings are from N.Y. - Really AMAZING powerfull funky jazzrock stuff. I seem to remember it was another bassist on those recordings though! Will check and see, if I can find them!
Best live version of Panther out there in this set !! Killer keyboard bass provided by Mo' Pleasure on this track.
Hooves III I’ve always felt this way too. Other versions are way too fast. Don’t groove like this one.
That's really me
Is that 'nard Wright on keys??
ismite2 yes it's 'Nard
ismite2 It's me!

@ 28:37 - damn if Scoop isn't one of the nastiest jazz funk tracks ever written.
my favorite live version by far
nobody is a patch on patches stewart..!
An electric trumpet??
Akai EWI trumpet. I think it has been discontinued
@@coltoncrawfordjazz cool, thanks!
Terrific! Who's the keyboardist? Also, the drummer and the pocket trumpet dude? Now i see there's a second keyboardist. Kenny Garret is the only other guy i recognize.
James Murray Bernard Wright on keyboards.
