Wow, what a great concert! I Loves You Porgy is probably my favorite of the bunch, overall. Marcus gives an awesome demonstration of what FUNK is all about. His facial expressions as he plays says it all... unbelievable performance!
Alex´s Hylife solo here is just amazing man!! So fucking technically skilled and musically creative and emotional at the same time - he just seems to always know what´s supposed to be played in any given moment

I honestly don’t know much about jazz and there are some that I cannot bear to listen to. However, I am an artist and I could not help but listen, to an entire album, which was so awesome and calming while painting. I enjoy the background of violins, piano, trumpet/saxophone especially. Well, that’s just about describes the whole band! Saying that, I enjoy solo of violin, violin and piano, trumpet solo especially when the trumpet echoes. There are different kinds of jazz and I want to know which is which. Is this contemporary jazz, or what? Keep up the good “Music!”
You’re right. To my knowledge it is the coolest performance of Marcus Miller band. Everything is sweet’and touchy. Very pleasant, but Marcus is always an event for me. A great composer, a human to be known with a lot’of qualities. An UNESCO ambassador too. Enjoy and enjoy again, I’ll do the same ! Best
