College is not for everybody, although culturally, we are taught in our youth that academia is the only way.
To your point at 13:45 , it’s a great observation and a trait of successful entrepreneurs. Always documenting and reviewing their achievements for feedback, then acting of the lessons learned to not reproduce mistakes or redundancies.
I didn’t go to college and I do better than most of my friends who did...

So I turned 39 the day before this vid came out. I have to say, that looking back over the last 20 years since I was 19, I only wish I could do what you have done. I'm just not out-going enough to put myself out there like that. Just never found the one thing I was passionate about, or made the right connections to make it happen. You should be very proud of yourself and what you have accomplished. You're firing my desire to go and be my own boss again. Maybe this time I'll find something that works out. I've gotten older now and am on my way to a trade school but, still have that dream in the back of my head. I bought a gopro in 2012 to film some fishing videos and daily life stuff and just never invested the time to make it happen. 8 years later it just sits in a shoe box while I do whatever the Army tells me🤦🏻♂️
Couldn’t agree with you more dude. Unless you’re headed to college on your journey to become a doctor or lawyer, it’s not really worth it. Just diving into life and making it on your own is often times the best way to learn.
It’s sad that it’s almost like this country degrades people without a college degree. Basically guilting people into college just because the rest of society is doing so. The education isn’t everything. Sometimes the people who choose not to go to college, and take the road less traveled, are the hardest working, self driving people in the world and I stand by that.
Thank you for bringing this video back to light, and showing people it’s ok to follow your dreams! Hard work really does pay off and you’re an amazing example of that! Awesome to see how far you’ve come man!
