Bro, I literally did the same thing. I hated school. Went to CC for like 2 semesters and bailed. I was always on the honor role but I just hated it. That doesn’t mean you will fail in life. I have a cushy job making 40 a year with plenty of time to fish. Do what makes you happy and you will always be successful.

I went back and watched your past unboxing's. I think the answer you are looking for for why your unboxings where entertaining, is because when you pulled something out of the box you describes when, where, and how you where going to use that gear. I learn most from those unboxings. Great Videos!

I’m in community college right now, taking wildlife and outdoors classes. I’m also playing baseball on top of 20 credit hours a semester. Anytime I get free time, I’m going fishing. And when I run out of day light, im watching googan squad videos, brandon, jake and tons more fishing content. Sometimes I even try to record myself fishing. One of these days, I’m going to make some fishing content and thrive on it. I’ll probably end up finishing college because I don’t have anything to fall back on but man, sometimes it’s tempting. Keep up the great videos man! I look up to you guys 😎

Unless you are going to college for a specific job or an opportunity to network and intern then it is probably not the best choice especially when there are trade schools that are shorter and provide better employment. There is a difference between dropping out and having a plan and dropping out and doing nothing.

I'm not sure he really understands the time, effort and work ethic that it will take. Like you, school is not his thing. He'd rather be fishing or in the outdoors, but his work ethic is still not there. I think this video will give him some insight as to what it actually takes to be successful.

+FLAIR I think you should do a video where you explain more about all these businesses you currently are attached to. Like, I know you are doing things with the Googans, so explaining what the concept behind that is, and how it correlates to the businesses attached to that group (MTB, for instance) Favorite would be a great one to delve into as well, and your DUX stuff too. Generally give your viewers an idea of what your attached to, and why. I just think that would be a good idea, as I would love to know what businesses you, as well as the other Googans, are invested in, and what part you play in those ventures.

That a tough decision. In 2016, I had a choice: finish my graduate degree at Johns Hopkins University or fish the hottest topwater stripped bass bite on the Chesapeake Bay 15 years. I got my degree, but it won't never match that topwater bite by a mile.

I just graduated and I believe that college has definitely changed who I am as a person for the better! Without college I would have not made the friends I have met or the networking connections I have made. It ultimately has shaped my future of where I will work at and who I will spend my life with. This is also with many life decisions though. Go where you believe you are meant to be and life will take you the best route!

On average a 4-year college degree will add 1 million dollars to your lifetime earnings. Flair is a perfect example of an outlier of this statistic and having a college degree probably would not help him much. Everyone must evaluate whether or not college would help them in some way shape or form.

I'm a college graduate. Graduated Paul Smith's College in 2015 with a degree in wildlife management. Absolutely no regrets, this past year I got paid to patrol campgrounds and shoot paint balls and black bears (trying to adverse condition them so that they learn to fear people and avoid campgrounds as a food source)! Next week I'm moving to Florida to survey beaches for sea turtles and shore birds! As awesome as this summer was I would still say college was the best 4 years of my life, not for everybody but I'm sure glad I went and stuck with it, yeah I've got tens of thousands of dollars in loans to pay back but with hard work and perseverance I know I will pay them off just like it took hard work academically to graduate and get to where I am now.

Tom Starcevich I'm sure that position driving a truck was very "lucrative"

I'm going to college because the job I am pursuing usually only works 3 or 4 days a week at most. So I will have sooo much time to fish haha I am. Genius.
Money don't matter. Free time too fish is what is important.

I actually loved the video. Something real coming from somebody. Instead of what you think people want to hear. The world had a place for all types of careers. It's ok if people choose another path other than college. We are all meant to do something. So we should allow our passions to dictate what that is. Not society!! Thanks for another great video!!

Flair and all the googans are incredibly blessed. So many people have college degrees these days, you’ll be screwed without one. Trade school isn’t a bad option if you are willing to do manual labor.
