Would you say Biology and Chemistry HL really prepare you and help you the first year of med school? I'm taking them currently and I find it super fun and useful. It's interesting learning about how insulin is produced in the pharmaceutical industry etc. :D

I have some questions about applying to college & studying in the states as an international student and I would be forever grateful if you could answer them. Does it make it easier to apply and get in if you are from an ib school? Is the pre-med program at NYU great? Did you apply to any other schools than NYU? Do you know if there are any scholarships for international students in NYU (or in general) and if there are, did you get one? How were you able pay the tuition? Thanks! I love your guys' channel!

How's the work load? Is it really a lot? I go to a community college and was wondering. I'm mostly referring to all the science classes.
I think about the IB thing, it's not that IB makes uni easy for us, but maybe relatively easier than to people who went to the standard Finnish high school. At least that's how it seems to be here in UK. Most UK students have never written a report or done scientific referencing, so they definitely did struggle more in the beginning. :P
Haha good point Kalle! IB definitely helped when adjusting to uni but the workload wasn't really comparable despite hearing from a lot of people that "IB is actually harder than uni".

My major is neuroscience and I'm on the premed track! I'm also minoring in chemistry, and I want to minor in something else as well but I haven't decided yet haha!
