This is so cool i literally dream about studying in NYU but as an international student i think it would be very difficult :( anyway i loved this video! So nice to have a glimpse of what goes on in here
After watching a couple of your videos I kind of feel at peace for finally setting my mind on which University I wish to go to. I love this lifestyle, even though to others it may seem hectic or too busy, I really love it. You're constantly doing something, but that whole process of doing something constantly makes you get the best out of your day. You're never not doing something and I find that amazing. Really am loving this NYU lifestyle.
Loved this video! I'd definitely love to see more about the city just in general...could you maybe do a 'sight seeing day' video? Maybe just walk around the city and look at all the awesome attractions? (Especially central park) haha (:
***** i feel like it looked longer than it actually feels. i find it quite relaxing, and i usually take the bus if it's super super cold. ya it's really nice :)
so cool that you're the editor of the NYU newspaper!!!! i hope that one day i, not only get accepted to NYU, but also be able to be on the newspaper staff and maybe one day be editor!!
Love it!! NYU is the school I want to attend ( I'm majoring in broadcast journalism ). I have the money for it- but it's still so expensive! I really want to go to Brittany Hall.
Hi! I'm going to NYU next year and I was wondering how you like working on the newspaper? I work on mine in high school and I'm unsure if it's something I want to do in college.
Madison Elizabeth hi! congrats and welcome to nyu :D i love working at the paper. it is such great learning experience and certainly a resume builder for the future. i wrote last semester and really enjoyed that, but i have really liked being an editor, especially the fashion editor bc i have gotten some really amazing opportunities. everyone i work with is so nice and its like a little family :) let me know if you have more questions about it!
+Isabela Valdes congrats!! this is palladium! it is no longer open to freshman bc hayden was under construction at the time. in a few months you will get a survey and you can list what residence halls you want in order, and most people get their first or second choice :)
Hi! I will be applying for my upper grade requirements this year. I saw how the dorms are not actually at the campus. How long does it take you to walk there? Also, is every like departments in different buildings that you must walk over too?
Joanna Avalos there are freshman dorms that are on the campus and a bunch of other dorms that are further away. mine was about a 15 minute walk, and there are a couple of random dorms that are a bit further. different schools have their own buildings but most of them are all on washington square park or a block or 2 away :)
I have a weird question. What does the NYU newspaper do if you submit an article late? Is it common? I ask because I'm currently a writer + editor at my high school's newspaper and sometimes I get busy and submit the article a few days late (and I know this is really bad, but if I'm really busy, I just don't write it. This is rare though.). At my school it's not that big of a deal but I'd assume it's probably more serious at a university haha. I'm a junior and I really want to apply to NYU, and if I get in I'm definitely going to join the newspaper (btw, can anyone join or is there a process?) I know I'll be really busy though so I'm just wondering.
+Jenna you cannot submit an article late. the editors will get super pissed at you and likely never let you write another article, and we will have to find other content to publish. it is absolutely not ok. but yes, anyone can join. you start as a contributing writer, then apply to become a staff writer (meaning you have to take an article each week). it is not that much of a time commitment, but definitely don't do it if you don't think you will have time because the editors get very upset (i have had this happen before and it is very stressful). good luck :)
i keep my go pro on a little wrist strap thing that i took off a different camera, but other that that i just held it upright during the walk! got a bit tiring haha
I got accepted to NYU CAS class of 2021 (I'm young I know lol) and I was just wondering what kind of dorm this is? Apartment style or traditional style? It looks pretty big. Thanks!
ada2t yay congrats!!! for a large closet, i would recommend Uhall. that dorm has walk in closets :) it's also next to palladium, which has great food and the gym!
EK Curb congrats!!! i promise the video makes it look longer than it is. it's about 10-15 mins from my dorm depending where on campus you need to get to, and i usually just call my family or listen to podcasts during that time, so it doesn't feel long at all :) it's actually pretty relaxing!
Hi! So I just got accepted into NYU for Media Culture and Communications too!! I saw your video and am wondering how the courses are and just as much information I can get about the major? Advice and other things haha. I heard there is even a minor in business with tisch and business?
Tiffany Wang CONGRATS!! welcome to mcc :) omg i could talk about this so much haha so first of all, for a list of all of our classes and requirements, you can go to steinhardt.nyu.edu/mcc/. That will have all the info you need. Our core courses are very broad and informative (there are 4: intro to media studies (LOVED), Intro to human comm and culture (hated bc i had a shit professor), history of media and comm (interesting but a lot of info) and media and cultural analysis (kinda weird depending on your prof)). Then you choose 2 fields of study from 6, and the courses in that are all super interesting and specific to what you want to study. I am actually minoring in the thing you're talking about haha. it's called the business of entertainment, media, and technology (bemt) and it involves half stern courses and half tisch/steinhardt courses. it's a very popular minor for mcc kids. let me know if you have more questions!
***** i intend to visit NYU soon but i realize that it's also a high chance I won't be able to go because of school conflicts. Thus, I was wondering all about the campus? Like anything about your experience there? I know words doesn't help much since it's better for myself to visit, but I live in California D: I guess how are the internship opportunities for this major and living there in general? i have so many questions haha. Thanks for taking your time to see it and i'm excited that I was accepted into mcc! (hopefully, the tuition won't be the main reason I cannot commit)
so the campus is obviously not traditional, but personally i don't mind it. if you are looking for a typical college campus, nyu definitely isn't. washington square park definitely feels like campus, and basically everyone you see between union square and WSP and all along university place are all nyu students, so it doesn't feel that weird. i personally love love love love the area of nyc that nyu is located in. the village is gorgeous and quiet (relatively) and it's such a great area to be in. the internship opportunities are awesome. our career net puts up new internships every week, and while i didn't want one as a freshman, i already have one for this summer. you can't get internship credit until you are a junior, but you can still get internships before then if you want them. feel free to keep asking questions! :)
I'm from NYC, born and raised and I'm still debating whether or not to apply to NY schools because I really want to move to another state to experience new things but it would be cheaper to pay in state tuition here... 😬🤔
+Teenagedream29 im afraid i don't have much advice there, seeing as i stayed in state but chose private school! i would suggest choosing a suny if you have a more liberal arts type of major because you can save a lot of money, but if you want to study something more specific def branch out!
Hey! Im a sophomore in High School in Texas and although early, I have ideas for colleges. NYU i am in LOVE with, its freedom and opportunities. I love theater and I want to do theater in college so bad, by my parents want to be to do medicine. Is there a way to do both? I know theater is in TISCH and i think there's a NYU school of medicine, but could I double major in theater and medicine or major/minor? What are the possibilities? THANK YOU!
hi! so i'm not expert, but i believe you can study anything you want in undergrad as long as you remain on a pre-med track so you can go to med school. tisch is a bit different, since the requirements can be quite rigorous and i'm not sure the program allows for a pre-med track, and that's something you would have to ask the school directly. alternatively, you could enter the college of arts and sciences, and take theater classes as electives/join theater clubs. that way you remain pre-med but also get to study and participate in theater at nyu. i recommend visiting nyu if possible and trying to meet with a few advisors to figure out the right path for you :) good luck!
Hey girl! So, I am currently enrolled at community college in New York (not the city). My GPA this semester is a 3.85. It would have been a 4.0 if I had done better in Psychology, ultimately receiving an 88.23 which is a B+. (I am not the best test taker due to anxiety, which ultimately affected my overall grade, even though I received a 95 total on the essays I had to submit each week.) Most of my classes were also online classes, apart from my English classes which I received 100% in both (A's). I was wondering if you think I'd have a chance at getting into NYU after I complete two years at my current college. I am a Creative Writing major, therefore am an aspiring author and would prefer to double major in Journalism and English/Literature, possibly with a minor in Creative Writing if necessary after receiving my associate's degree. I have always dreamed of writing for a huge newspaper and would love to someday write for NYU's as a student. Thanks! :)
I would just like to know if it was easy for you to make friends. I am worried about living away from home someday, which is why I commute to college classes and take some online. I am very hardworking and enjoy academics, especially writing essays, very much. If you have any advice for me, please let me know! :)
+Kelsey Rae hi! i don't really know how nyu's transfer system works, but i personally think you have a good chance with your gpa! you seem passionate about what you want to major in, so make sure to convey that through your application, as that is really what they want to see. also, it isn't as easy to make friends at nyu as a typical college, but most of my friends i have made through my major or the newspaper. you just have to put yourself out there :) hope to see you around campus someday! good luck
+Sophie Lewis Thank you so much for replying, Sophie! And I kinda like being by myself sometimes as well, so maybe not meeting so many people will not be the worst thing :) I hope to make friends at least, but being in the city would be enough for me! Hahaha :) I hope to see you around as well! Maybe I will work for the newspaper someday too!
Do you know if the computer science department is located in the arts and sciences building? I'm planning on attending NYU, and would like to know, thank you!
+Anna Coleman it is different for everyone and for every major. some people like to stack their classes so they aren't as spread out, and most people try to avoid having class fridays. but some majors, like a lot of tisch kids, have really long classes that last all day. it really depends :)
I have a really big doubt about going to study in NYC because I am afraid of the way a foreign student would be treated. But as the big city NY is I was thinking that maybe there must be a lot of foreign students. Do you think life in New York is too complicated? I live in Colombia in a really populated city that is the capital, Bogota, but Im still not sure if I can handle so much life!
Heather Q a laptop is by no means required, but i couldn't imagine coming to college without one. most people take notes on their laptop, because professors tend to move quickly so you would miss things if you had wrote them. macs are lightweight and user friendly, so that's why most people prefer them :)
Hey Sophie NYU is my "dream" school so to speak and I want to be there sooooo bad!!! Im a low A student 90-95 with some high As in courses like world geo and chemistry. But I also have made two Bs while in high school they are both 87.5 (Alg. 2(I'm normally an A student in math this teacher just didn't know how to teach math, literally) and AP Lang) I'm still waiting on my AP scores. I will be a junior in fall 2016 and I am planning to only be making As from now on I'm usually an A student anyways! I am also planning to double major in Chemistry and Theatre (yes I know weird) does NYU offer double majors? And, Just by those grades do you think there is a chance I could get accepted? I take the ACT and SAT this year so that will obviously determine more but I want to know if I'm getting my hopes up or not and need to be realistic. I'm also hoping with those grades I can get somewhat of a scholarship
yes you can double major at nyu! it sounds like you are very passionate and determined so of course you have a chance :) it's all luck anyway unfortunately! i don't think you are being unrealistic, although it is important to remember the importance of junior and senior year above any other year. and it's not just grades that matter, but also test scores, extracurriculars, essays, etc. keep that in mind :) but definitely give it your all, it never hurts to apply :)
thank you so much for responding! Im so stressed on just figuring out a list of where i want to go. if i could apply everywhere i would, but i dont think that is possible XD. thank you so much!
NYU isn't a super prestigious school or anything so it's kind of easy to get into haha. As long as you don't completely screw up your standardized test scores, you'll be fine.
qwertyuiopqwertywert this comment is so unnecessary. everyone has different skills and levels of intelligence and to say that anyone could be accepted to any school is ludicrous. especially because schools care about so many other things over test scores. there are plenty of people that don't get accepted to their dream schools even after "not completely screwing up" anything, so try not to be so insensitive. have a nice day :)
***** I'm not saying NYU is a bad school, it's definitely a good school. It's just not so prestigious where it's a huge struggle to get in if you already have good grades. All I was saying is that Katie has a pretty solid chance of getting into NYU as long as she doesn't score like a 1500 on the SAT or anything. Her gpa sounds solid, and she sounds driven. And yeah college is a crap shoot for schools like stanford or yale where you can be incredible at everything and still not get in. But for NYU, if you have the grades and you have the standardized test scores, you're pretty much guaranteed. Just sprinkle in some extracurriculars and a decent essay, and you're set.
StellaBellaVelvet i went to their open house last semester (i saw a sign at the club fest) and became a contributing writer, and i then applied to be a staff writer, and now this semester i am an editor :)
Thank you so much for replying! I would love to go to NYU and my dream job is journalism so I always look forward to your videos especially the ones about your school and career plans! You're amazing and I look up to you so much
***** yeah, I then went on to watch your 1hr video on the whole lifestyle of being a NYU student and I got my answer there, aha sorry for troubling. Anyhow, is it expensive being a student living in dorms at NYU? And also, when did you become an editor at the newspaper company?
yes it is pretty expensive, depending on your dorm and food plan. each dorm costs a different price (you can google nyu housing pdf to find exact pricing). there are cheaper grocery stores which is helpful and i didn't find i had a lot of outside expenses, so the main cost is housing which is super expensive. i was a writer during the fall and then became an editor this past spring :)
***** well thanks for answering and making such videos, they are really helpful for all of us, viewing from all corners of the world ^^ Best of luck in all your endeavours! And keep making videos and living on the internet aha.
haha no problem! i am always here if you have any further questions :) i appreciate your kind words they mean a lot to me! good luck with your university hunt :D
hi sophie..I'm from the caribbean and I'm looking for a college or university my main interest is la and ny.. I don't know which one to pick because I don't know anything about america college or university so I was just asking you if u were me which you would pick...I want to go somewhere sunny and beautiful.thanks
Justice Smith hi! there are a lot of colleges in both la and nyc, so you definitely need to do some research. however, if you are looking for sunny and beautiful nyc is probably not the best choice. it is very cold here for a lot of the year and when it is warm it is humid and rainy. some great schools in la are ucla and usc, but there are tons of other ones too. personally, i much prefer nyc over la, but that's just me!
+Directioner818 i plan to once i'm a bit more settled into this school year! i'll probably film it at some point in the next few weeks :) thanks for watching!
Jacqueline Tubbs i have personally found that the wifi is awesome!! it sometimes disconnects and tries to switch from 'nyu' to 'nyuguest' but its easy to switch it back and i have found that it is super fast :)
+Sophie Lewis is it hard to be accepted in the stern business school? NYU is kind of my dream campus? i hope my parents have enough money to enrolled me for masters degree there if I don't get any scholarship. i'm from Indonesia. In my country, studying in US is considered a prestige. lots and lots affluent parents are sending their children to attend US universities
Ekaterina Vladimirova come to a pitch meeting! they are on sundays, and they are at different times depending on what you want to write. Features pitch meetings, which includes bstyle, dining, violet vision, and features, are on sundays at 5:30. News is at 5. i can find out the times of other sections if you need. let me know if you have any other questions!
+Lilli Helene actually on this particular day i didn't eat dinner! usually i do, but i had to go straight from class to the newspaper and i was stuck there pretty late so i couldn't eat...i probably stuffed my face after i finished filming this :p
Depends on how you look at it. If you are more of a rural person, then yeah. But me, I'm more of a city person. All I see when I look at New York City is life teeming everywhere. Being in NYC makes you feel alive, unlike any place I've ever been before.
evanjaywil wow i don't think so at all! i loved my classes, working at the newspaper, going to the gym, and walking around the city. i suppose if you hate cities than maybe, but depressing is kind of a strong word haha it was just my typical school day
Finally a person who makes a video of life in NYU.
+nelles lol
This is so cool i literally dream about studying in NYU but as an international student i think it would be very difficult :( anyway i loved this video! So nice to have a glimpse of what goes on in here
+pame zuniga thank you! we have 20% international students so don't give up :)
Cristina De la Cuadra i am so glad that you have found my videos helpful! i love that lifestyle as well; it makes me feel productive each day :)
I loved this so much!!! You are very productive!! I miss NYC so much!
LilyBeauty thanks so much!! nyc is the best :)
Busy, but far from boring! Love IT 😇
Loved this video! I'd definitely love to see more about the city just in general...could you maybe do a 'sight seeing day' video? Maybe just walk around the city and look at all the awesome attractions? (Especially central park) haha (:
It did look like you had a really long walk. That's gotta be rough in the winter. Also awesome that you have a nice big gym in your dorm building!
***** i feel like it looked longer than it actually feels. i find it quite relaxing, and i usually take the bus if it's super super cold. ya it's really nice :)
so cool that you're the editor of the NYU newspaper!!!! i hope that one day i, not only get accepted to NYU, but also be able to be on the newspaper staff and maybe one day be editor!!
good luck!
This was so great! Loved seeing your school life💗
+twinklinglena thanks so much!
thanks for the video!!! i am 100% motivated right now, i hope i can get into nyu
YooJin Son i am so glad you enjoyed it! good luck :D
Dream big Casey! My dream school is Yale but I still enjoy this one!😀
You have an insanely busy day! Great video :)
xokferg894 haha it's a good busy, i enjoy it all :) thanks!
+Sophie Lewis wait how many roommates do you have?!?!?
3! 2 bedrooms :)
+Sophie Lewis cool. how is NYU? I hope to go there one day. is tuition super exspensive?
i love nyu :) yes tuition is crazy expensive haha
Love it!! NYU is the school I want to attend ( I'm majoring in broadcast journalism ). I have the money for it- but it's still so expensive! I really want to go to Brittany Hall.
i know it's a crazy amount of money. good luck!
Love this video!! I love day in the life videos :)
Angelic Abbie thanks so much :)
Please do another one of these this is amazing
NEON i will when school starts! thanks :)
Hi Sophie! Love ur video! Starting my own NYU experience in fall at LSP! Hope I can run into u sometime!
Mason Song hi! congrats and welcome to nyu!! feel free to say hi if you see me :)
This was so good!!!!
loved this video, so nice meeting you :)
+Simply Selin thanks so much! loved meeting you too :D

***** Thanks so much! I think I want to either do that or work on the Gallatin Fashion Magazine, do you know anything about that?
i've actually never heard anything about that magazine, but i suggest going to the club fair in the fall and going to the open houses for both :)
I got accepted to NYU last week and I'm really curious about everything! What residence hall is this? Can you choose or is it randomly assigned?
+Isabela Valdes congrats!! this is palladium! it is no longer open to freshman bc hayden was under construction at the time. in a few months you will get a survey and you can list what residence halls you want in order, and most people get their first or second choice :)
If that's your everyday circle, you don't really have free time...
Or am I wrong?
lol you are correct i don't have any free time but i did that to myself!
(although i will say my days are all different bc of classes and interning and such)
Sophie Lewis It's pretty impressive! Hope you get your free time as soon as possible, you deserve it! ;-)
Adib Ahmed aw thanks, appreciate it :)
Sophie Lewis you're welcome. :D
Yay you made the video! Thanks!
Danni Love you're welcome! :D

+Sophie Lewis Is it just news or there are opinion pieces too?
yes, we have a whole opinion section!
How did you hold the camera while walking to class? Do you have like a go pro strap?
i keep my go pro on a little wrist strap thing that i took off a different camera, but other that that i just held it upright during the walk! got a bit tiring haha
I got accepted to NYU CAS class of 2021 (I'm young I know lol) and I was just wondering what kind of dorm this is? Apartment style or traditional style? It looks pretty big. Thanks!
congrats and welcome!! i have always lived in apartment-style dorms :)
omg yes! I was thinking about doing this when I got there! :D How did it feel walking around with the camera all day lol xD
Marilu Duque it was fun! i felt a bit awkward, but since a go pro is so small it didn't feel too weird!
Cool! I planning on doing this too (day in life) but with Poly! :D
can't wait to see!
Hey I'll be attending NYU this fall (TISCH) .....what dorm would you recommend for a freshmen? (I need a lot closet space)
ada2t yay congrats!!! for a large closet, i would recommend Uhall. that dorm has walk in closets :) it's also next to palladium, which has great food and the gym!
***** Great Thank you!!!!!
+Sophie Lewis Are there dorms with ample kitchens?
João Pedro Lang yes, many of the dorms have kitchens, see my dorm tours :)
Got into NYU! I know you said the walk isn't that bad but OMG that seems REAALLYY long. How long does it take to get to most of your classes? Thanks
EK Curb congrats!!! i promise the video makes it look longer than it is. it's about 10-15 mins from my dorm depending where on campus you need to get to, and i usually just call my family or listen to podcasts during that time, so it doesn't feel long at all :) it's actually pretty relaxing!
ok that helps a lot. Thanks! How many classes do you usually have per day for Steinhardt
no problem! i made my schedule so that i have 2 classes each day, but it really changes every semester depending on your courses :)
Is there any place to cook your own meals? I guess there isn't one in the dorm room
+João Pedro Lang yup! many dorms have kitchens in every apartment :) see my dorm tours/video on freshman dorms!
This video is so cool!
+Miss Fashionologist thanks :D
Thank You for making this!
no problem!
everything is so shiny
not sure what this means but thanks? haha
Hi sophie i have a question i would like to know that as a freshman can you bring a car to nyu..?? Great video btw😀😄
+Aminata Dia well there's no parking haha. there is not reason you would ever need a car in nyc and i strongly recommend not taking one :) thanks!

Most of my classes were also online classes, apart from my English classes which I received 100% in both (A's).
Maybe I will work for the newspaper someday too!
good luck with everything!
+Sophie Lewis Thank you! I also have been wanting to start my own RUclips channel. Any advice for that aspect in my life? :)
Do you know if the computer science department is located in the arts and sciences building? I'm planning on attending NYU, and would like to know, thank you!
***** yes, the computer science major is part of the college of arts and sciences :)
Just curious, is two classes a day normal for college?
+Arya Sheffield nyu is about 20% international students! no one cares where you are from :) i actually know someone here from colombia! don't worry :)
What does everyone have macs? (Is a laptop required?)
Heather Q a laptop is by no means required, but i couldn't imagine coming to college without one. most people take notes on their laptop, because professors tend to move quickly so you would miss things if you had wrote them. macs are lightweight and user friendly, so that's why most people prefer them :)
Ah, thank you! Do you see people with other types of laptops? Personally I am just not a big fan of MacBooks :P
yea there are people who use a variety of different devices, macs are just the most common. you won't be judged for not having one though haha
Yes! I see that DFTBA shirt ;)
elizabeth sanford #dftba ;)
What is your collage hours?
My dream is to go to a university in NYC. I live in UK right now so it will be difficult but I won't give up.
good luck with everything
Do ur buildings have like a curfew or can you just come and go as you please
+Dan S you can come and go as you please :)
How did you get involved with the newspaper at NYU?
StellaBellaVelvet i went to their open house last semester (i saw a sign at the club fest) and became a contributing writer, and i then applied to be a staff writer, and now this semester i am an editor :)
Thank you so much for replying! I would love to go to NYU and my dream job is journalism so I always look forward to your videos especially the ones about your school and career plans! You're amazing and I look up to you so much
you're welcome! i hope you come here and write for the paper, we always welcome new writers :) that means so much to me, thank you for being so sweet
What program are you in at NYU? And how competitive is it?
Son M my major is media, culture, and communication in steinhardt. not sure if it's any more or less competitive than any other nyu major :p
***** well thanks for answering and making such videos, they are really helpful for all of us, viewing from all corners of the world ^^
Best of luck in all your endeavours!
Wow class at 2 pm? I have class from 8 am to 3pm 6 days a week with only an hour break in between. Hmm :/
+Randa Abdel Ghaffar those are the times i had class in high school but college is much different and i can choose when i have class :)
ah, college life. i kinda miss it lol
brandilovesbeauty haha i definitely wish jobs let you sleep in like this!

What was your SAT score?
2100 out of 2400, but i didnt even send my SAT to NYU. i sent my ACT, since i got a 34 out of 36.
How expensive was your dorm room?
+Alexander Lee around 17k for the year (nyu dorms are incredibly expensive)
+Sophie Lewis Ok thanks
I love this
Siyema thank you :)
Is it safe to walk home alone that late at night?
+foreverfearless138 i think so. i have never felt unsafe. the city is constantly bustling and filled with people in this area :)
what the name of song that played in 3:50?
i think it was just something from the youtube library!
Hey! I'm probably going to NYU next term and was just wondering how the wifi is in dorms and the classrooms.
Thanks ((:
Jacqueline Tubbs i have personally found that the wifi is awesome!! it sometimes disconnects and tries to switch from 'nyu' to 'nyuguest' but its easy to switch it back and i have found that it is super fast :)
hello, what major are you studying in NYU?
MCC: media, culture, and communication :)
+Sophie Lewis is it hard to be accepted in the stern business school? NYU is kind of my dream campus? i hope my parents have enough money to enrolled me for masters degree there if I don't get any scholarship.
i'm from Indonesia. In my country, studying in US is considered a prestige. lots and lots affluent parents are sending their children to attend US universities
astrid wibowo yes stern is extremely competitive! good luck :)
regret never going to college but i rather would have taken an accelerated course lol 4 years is too long
+RR the game tech i actually think having the 4 years is a really good amount of time to transition to being an adult :)
can you help me with questins about nyu?
yes!
any advice for freshmen who want to write for WSN?
Ekaterina Vladimirova come to a pitch meeting! they are on sundays, and they are at different times depending on what you want to write. Features pitch meetings, which includes bstyle, dining, violet vision, and features, are on sundays at 5:30. News is at 5. i can find out the times of other sections if you need. let me know if you have any other questions!
thanks!
also they are at 838 broadway :)
omg i have that DFTBA shirt!
nyu nyu! we all bleed purple!
💜
Awesome video and shirt! Haha :) #DFTBA
Amy Morales haha thank you! #dftba :D
Is you room a Part of the nyu And also the gym ?
the dorm i lived in had one of the NYU gyms in the basement!
how hard is it to get into NYU????
+Sophie Duffy it's pretty hard haha
+Sophie Lewis heyy, i was wondering is it possible to ask you a couple of questions about the university maybe on Instagram or something :)
How much do you pay for your dorm
google "NYU housing pdf" to find different dorm prices :)
Princeton University is mydream school and I hope to study EEB (Ecology and Evolutionary Biology)
good luck with everything! make sure you have some back up schools that you love equally as much so that you could be happy anywhere you apply! :)
+Sophie Lewis ok thank you :)
OMG, my name is also Lou! :D
XOXOLove192 woo! :D
3:46 thought it said with [ass]

Emily Herrera aw thank you :)
I'm hoping to transfer to NYU...hopefully I get in! *crosses fingers
LifeOfLiz good luck!
Is NYU diverse?
extremely diverse! 20% international students :)
☺☺☺
:)
this was helpful!
i also created an NYU video :)
gamer alert
a girl walking alone at night in the streets of New York, that seems dangerous.... i'm kinda scared.......
i've personally never felt unsafe, new york is a very safe city, there is always lots of people everywhere :)
aoko sakano the part of nyc that nyu is in is very safe. manhattan overall is too. as long as she steers clear of certain neighborhoods she'll be fine
Awesome video! But don't you eat dinner?
+Lilli Helene actually on this particular day i didn't eat dinner! usually i do, but i had to go straight from class to the newspaper and i was stuck there pretty late so i couldn't eat...i probably stuffed my face after i finished filming this :p
Waaaaaaa? You do soooo much walking during the day. But you still go to the gym too? Ha, all that walking would of been enough cardio for me lol
+True Heart haha it's really not as much walking as you think, but i'm not a healthy eater so i try to go to the gym as much as i have time for!
Jesus Christ you walk a lot
v important to get exercise when all you eat is ice cream
+Sophie Lewis yup lmao
My bro goes to nyu lmao
that looks incredibly depressing
Depends on how you look at it. If you are more of a rural person, then yeah. But me, I'm more of a city person. All I see when I look at New York City is life teeming everywhere. Being in NYC makes you feel alive, unlike any place I've ever been before.
evanjaywil wow i don't think so at all! i loved my classes, working at the newspaper, going to the gym, and walking around the city. i suppose if you hate cities than maybe, but depressing is kind of a strong word haha it was just my typical school day
***** i totally agree :)
DFTBA :)
Here's the best advice you'll ever get..
GET A BIKE
lol i find biking in nyc very scary, i dont want to get to class sweaty, and they are hard to store. ill stick to walking :)
