Definitely call the dealers of those tags. If sales doesn’t recognize the cars you’ll know they’re up to no good using dealer tags to sneak around. If they do recognize the cars, cops should be able to track down the owners through sales records.

Quick tip.. always remember to lock your deadbolt. You can "unlock" the knob with a credit card or ID so easily. Also good to remember if you ever lock your keys in the house.

My dad encountered a guy who called him and his friends dirty mike and the boys, and they left beer in the lean to he when to and a note that said thanks for the f shack love, dirty mike and the boys, and this is in the Adirondacks in New York State lol
Some people might think that's a dirt/gravel road going back in there, so the first thing I would do is put up two private property no trespassing signs on each front corner of that property. because you've gotta be careful with squatters. There are people that will stake out houses that are vacant and they will just move in and the only way you can make them leave is to legally evict them, which can take months if they fight it and refuse to leave. That happens a lot, so put up no trespassing signs and video the signs being there so that anyone including squatters will/can be arrested for being on your property if you choose to press charges. Squatters can not legally squat on posted property because just by them trespassing onto posted property is illegal.
I know some people don't like posting no trespassing signs, but in a case like this you need to in order to protect yourself at least until you move into your new house, and at that point, you'll be there to protect it yourself.
If only Flair knew someone who had earth moving equipment that would dig holes deep enough to, I don't know put something down in there to never be found again. You know like old trash or construction materials or stuff like that. 😉

If the Jelly Man knows your house is empty, make it look like your moving in. Put a whole bunch of moving boxes and such by a garbage bucket, and give them another reason to go back in and check it out.
Also, try calling the dealership. They take notes of who drove what, and you would think they would know who took their car for an hour long test drive.

From a cop- they left the doors open so they could come back in a few days to see if the doors where closed. If they were left open they knew the property owner doesn’t come by frequently. If the doors were closed they knew someone came and checked it out and it wasn’t an “abandoned” home.

I agree with everyone else's comments about spots for the cameras and the signs. An idea I had is use some empty boxes that look expensive (more appealing) but put like rocks or something to make it sound like the item is actually in there. And maybe look into smaller cameras that can do the same job. Also love all you videos look forward to each and everyone of them! Keep up the great work and stay safe

Flair what sucks is honestly you may not catch them. I have worked in home security for 8 years and to be honest petty crimes like theft are normally hard to prove they did anything most of the time having cameras up and make some of them visible may be enough of a deterrent. Also if you have lights you can have turn on and go off at certain times during the day it can make it look like someone is at least on the property. It can go along way and keep the property safe.

Two cement post and one chain between the post with a do not trespass sign. Obviously the neighbors with the horses can drive around the side with a mule. But either one they would have to get out to unhook the chain great amount of time to get a few snapshots in. Plus your camera batteries should last longer not photographing wild life. Plus if they remove the chain with a no trespassing sign that's enough to charge them. If they don't see the chain ever see what that does to a vehicle when they hit it.

Once the Jelly man found out there was nothing to steal...he has no reason to return. Hopefully you have a BOATLOAD of No Trespassing signs out and visible. I’m thinking it was a construction worker that’s working on your new house and had to poop really bad the he sat down in the living room and ate his lunch
Measure the width of the tire tracks and subtract by 2 and you get the size of rims on someone's car or truck, (the reason for that is typically tires stick out an inch or so on both sides of the rim when a wheel is filled to factory spec air levels.) The tracks look like 18 inchers to me, but that could be the camera lens blowing shit up or the angle, but if they are, mid to large pickup trucks use 18's to mount larger tires for better traction control and a longer range between maintenance, the depth of the pits however suggest a pretty heavy vehicle, but there's no visible mud or tearing to the ground so not large enough to require high levels of torque to get the wheels moving and there's obviously only one line of tracks so not a dually either. I'm a mechanic and I'm in training to be a criminal investigator so little details like that go a long way. However the 17 Jetta and 12 equinox are highly suspicious, because didn't you mention that there are no dealerships near this location? Why do they have dealer plates? Who the hell were the people walking around? The shit's weird, shit's really fucking weird. You know what that's another question, who the fuck breaks into a house, shits in the toilet and leaves it, that's leaving DNA evidence as repulsive as that sounds the police could ID your ass (pun intended) just by testing the shit alone. #WorldsDumbestCriminals

Maybe get an Amazon box and put some random stuff in it for weight. Then put an apple air tag in the box so you can track where they go.
I would recommend putting a sensor or something hidden in the front doorway so if the door is opened you get alerted plus you should put sticks across the gravel and if the get moved then you also know that someone had been there.

Put a broken machine/a machine you don’t mind being stolen in the new-looking box and put one of them apple air tags in the box and let it get lifted. Then just follow the gps signal to where it may ends up at. At the same time just have some cams around in case it does catch anything. As for the “say cheese” camera, put it inside the house looking at the door so when they open the door and enter, it’ll capture them as they turn and dip.

Put one inside facing the door at the house that hasn't been broken into and just keep dropping random packages on the porch. They'll eventually get comfortable and slip up. That's also coming from someone who broke into many houses and garages when I was a teen.
