That would be just under a quarter of the entire Minecraft world if he did, it takes 60,000,000 blocks to get from 0,0 to the border means it's 120,000,000 from one side to the other no matter which side you choose. If he started directly from the center at 0,0 and did 50,000,000 in total, that is 25,000,000 from one side to another (12,500,000 going from the center to reach each side). To really put that into perspective, if the corner of that was put at 0,0, he'd almost reach two sides of the world border.
