Yeah I work on a goat farm and the same thing happens to some of our old goats. We treat the eye, but I don’t have any clue what the medicine Is called.

Bunnies are indoor animals although having an outdoor enclosure for them when its nice out is okay. Honestly rabbits are incredibly expensive long term and I'm not sure you'll want to bunny proof your whole home and have them free roam the house

Also about the inconsistent layers, I would say put some boxes filled with some hay in the open. Our chickens don’t like laying in cramped areas or in boxes that have like a like a roof or cover over them, if that makes any sense. For instance, we took some old drawers( the drawers were nice and deep so we could put lots of hay in them) out of a cabinet in our shed, put them on the ground, filled them with hay, plopped a couple gold balls in and they lay in those boxes every day.

Also to help your laying hens, put some straw or hay into their laying box cause it feels nice to snuggle in and it's a good spot to drop an egg and have it be safe from your chooks perspective. they like nests.

I live in Massachusetts and ive had an outdoor rabbit for over 12 years now. He started out indoors but I put him outside within the first year or two. No idea how he's still alive "knock on wood" but he's still completely healthy. Just keep up on food/water and have plenty of hay and they'll be fine throughout the winter
Rabbits thump when they're angry, annoyed, unhappy, etc. Hopefully you got them their shots, if they're outside they can get diseases without proper vaccines. Also hopefully you made the fence go into the ground so they don't dig and escape. Plenty of research before getting animals is the way to go
