Flair, I have raised rabbits for the better part of 30 years. From what you have shown, your new bunny is a very curious and happy feller. He's probably never been outside before, English lops can have trouble with overheating in the summer, so most people keep them inside where they can be kept cool with fans or air-conditioning. Also put down some of the hardware cloth like you have on the sides of the kennel and sprinkle a little hay over it and just let the grass grow though it that will keep him in an predators out.

If you get the right set up going on I think you should definitely start raising rabbits for pet's,food and income. As long as you build each female rabbit her own cage with a nice box on it for building her nest for the baby rabbits. Lots of different content also.
lol just a few things: When you pick him up, don't hold him on his back like that, and support his back feet. Rabbits are not rodents. He kicked his back feet all the way back quite a few times which means he didn't like what you were doing (picking him up). He needs way more hay then that, at all times, and unlimited. Not sure if you give him pellets too, but bunnies really like them. Keep them limited to about 1/8 cup per 5 lbs of his weight. Females and males both make good pets. It just depends on the particular rabbit's personality. Rabbits do fine on their own, but I think they do best with a friend, as they are very social animals. If you aren't spending hours with him, then that's another reason to get him a friend. Probably a female, as males will fight. If you do get him a friend, they will have to be neutered/spayed. He will definitely burrow out. He needs a way to cool down in the summer and stay warm in the winter. Please look up RHDV2, as it's a very contagious virus that can kill your rabbit very quickly, if it's in your area.

Anyone else notice that the pigs are always responding to Flair and I don't think he realizes how smart pigs actually are. They're just trainable as some dogs

He may have been an inside rabbit or in a rabbit hutch that was off the ground. One thing you can do to make sure he doesnt did out is run more welded wire around the bottom of the panels you don't need much just 6 inches or so flat on the ground they will start digging and realize they can't get through the wire.

@FLAIR Hey man, you could always ask Brad to build a wooden patio for the kennel and than drop some sod down. Also, plant some herb boxes and planters in there. I use to grow vegetables in pens for rabbits. I use to help build exotic enclosures and stuff...each animal has a personality to cater to for sure.

Am I the only one that kind of watched flair and years ago thought I’m gonna watch lurkers or bamabass or whatever then he started the farm videos (this is coming form someone that grew up on a farm) I was yelling at my tv watching flair but now I hate when he doesn’t post and I’m trying to plan a petting zoo for my son when he’s born and I’m completely in love with flair. He hit his stride and the RUclips world loves it. Watching him learn to hunt, or trap, or farm, or build I’m drawn in to his videos I love it . The wife texts me “flair posted!” I can’t describe the stress that I can relieve my cracking a beer and watching flair! Flair, build the two pregnant pigs a larger building to get use to and sleep in before they give birth. That breed of piglet needs a warm, dry, safe space. Wooden floor covers in lots of straw works great. I just bought a prefabbed shed at home depot, covered the floor with straw, its been great for several years now. Also, please get Ralph a giant exercise ball made for horses, him and the goats will love it.

People are really in rabbit breeds and bettering the breed… that’s pretty cheap actually for some of those breeds! Bucks are wonderful pets and are so loving! Definitely around for the bunny content! Would be cool to see you breed rabbits, for production or to better the breed

I did have a male that came to me in the YARD, and loved to snuggle. The large wire on bottom would keep rabbit from burrowing & predators from getting in. Big Jake (from a John Wayne movie) or BJ (for Big & any J-name). I also made errors & some of my rabbits got out, they stayed nearby, only trouble was when their litters got big, those weren't as tame & to catch either trap of . We did eat our excess males
I think you should keep him inside the house he seems to be scared of the outside you can definitely tell he was a inside pet and well taken care of

You should get the Rabbit a friend you also should get some Lemurs,another Carol,another Donkey,several Lambs,several Mini Horses,a couple Zebra’s,a Yak,a Zebu,several Myotonic Goats,several Rhea’s,several Ostriches,several Emu’s,get a big bird aviary built and get several Peacocks plus you should get a really nice incubator for incase you decide if you want to try to hatch eggs.

Whenever you pickup a rabbit you gotta hold their feet so they feel secure, they don't like being on their backs. You're right about him burrowing out so you're definitely going to want to secure the enclosement better, something might also burrow in....

Flair, it took our lionhead rabbit several days to adjust to his new environment. We have had both males and females, and so far, the males are much easier to handle and great around the kids. All I know for sure is he's a cutie and your little girl is gonna be very happy with her new bunny.

Just put up a 3 sided pole barn with a fenced in area attached to pole barn. You can partition off half of the barn to store hay.
If you get an old trampoline you can use it for shade you just strap it just like you did with the shade tarp. We do that for our 4H pigs and we have never had it rip unlike the shade tarps

If you were to put a storage shed their for all the grain food everything like that it would be a very similar layout to your last property and I really like the layout of the last property I think that's great idea

For rabbits, males are definitely the easier to deal with, better tempered sex. But, get him neutered at 3 to 4 mo old, and he'll live way longer. Don't forget to clean scent glands near privates monthly. Keep gas-x on hand, all rabbit owners i know do this. And add 1 tbsp. Raw apple cider vinegar to a gallon of water and use that for drinking. For the larger rabbits start the day they get home and it will help their guts just like it does ours, and for all rabbit's gut health is HEALTH!! PLUS for these huge ones, I have the actual world's largest, the record holder for biggest rabbit, the Continental Giant, it helps with inflammation like it does our joints as well. Plus they love it!! Make sure your vet really knows rabbits before you choose it. The breeders, or since you bought at auction, find the best local breeder and use the same vet they choose. Trust me it's worth it to get 8+ yrs out of these guys!!
I agree. Just divide the pen for the pigs. They don’t need much space. Just get them plenty of shade.
Flair buy a bed topper for your truck then you can use the whole bed as a way to transport animals instead of a kennel

I would add some of that square wire fencing across the bottom of the enclosure. It would keep him from digging out.

As far as needing Donuts for the pigs,
I'd suggest going to a Donut Shop and trying to make a deal with them for old Donuts which they'll have to toss in the garbage anyway and pay to get rid of!
A Friend of mine is a Guide for Black Bear hunting here in Canada and he gets his pickup truck bed loaded with 2+ Day Old Donuts prior to a hunt, from Tim Hortons Donuts, at No Cost! He's tried everything and nothing works better for Baiting Black Bear, than Donuts!

Hey flair I got rabbits who love digging and I usually put like them lil square fences yak for the chicken coops and what not just big enough so they can eat grass an don’t get stuck and then you don’t risk the big boy escaping

To keep your pig pen from stinking so much add 1 foot or more of wood chips into the pen. It will compost all the manure and help to keep the pen from stinking. Move them once a year and harvest tons of great compost for a garden or food plot.
We kept rabbits, they went out every day as long as it was raining or snowing or freezing out. Our dog would help us round them up to bring them in otherwise they would hide behind the pond where we couldn’t catch them. We always bring them in at night, otherwise predators could get them, and that is when they would try and escape. They wouldn’t during the day due to predators I guess, they would be in Our yard eating grass but spent a lot of time sleeping and relaxing. But at night was a different story they would dig out under the fence.

We have a male mini rex rabbit and he is the sweetest little boy. Loves attention and is our little baby boy. We litter box trained him in only a day cause they are really smart. Rabbits are curious and like to explore so that was all your rabbit was doing. He looked like he was happy and a loving rabbit that was really taken care of. Make sure y'all give him lots of attention and hold & pet him. Our little boy's name is "Bubby The Bunny." Or just Bubby. I like Lil-Thug for the name LoL but ain't nothing little about him. Maybe you could call him "Thuger" you know kinda like Thumper. I would love it if you got more rabbits and maybe even started breeding them.
Bro you should name him “Bugs” after bugs bunny. Since he’s clever yet calm, like the iconic character.
