WOW! I had the same patellar tendon graft ACL reconstruction just like you. Any insight I need on recovery I'm watching your videos. Your journey has been so inspiring and I can't wait to get back to the gym.
Appreciate these ACL vids! Recently found out I'll be needing surgery due to a high grade ACL tear. Trying to watch as much content as possible to have better understanding of what to expect.
Of course! I have several other ACL vids on my channel too. Hopefully they help! I also have an ACL course I just realized with more video content to prep for surgery, heal faster, and tips for the whole journey. You’ll be able to find the course at www.aclsecrets.com/ Happy to give you 50% off too. Just use promo code ACL50 🙌🏽👊🏼 You got this!
Had quad tendon repair surgery 5 months ago that partially failed 😣 So now getting ready for revision surgery that will involve a tendon graft. Thanks for the nutrition info! Helps to stay positive and focused on healing
Thanks for the great info, my husband just had an acl and meniscus surgery 2 weeks ago and I have been looking for ways to help him more then I came across your videos which have been helpful. A question though, do you take all these supplements at a go or different times through the day please? Thanks ❤
I had a foot reconstruction surgery, but in general should I stay in a calorie surplus while healing? Even in a very slight calorie deficit my pain skyrockets for whatever reason
@@VictoriaDorsano hello ma'am how are you, ma'am can I take any supplement like glucosamine or termeric extract for faster recovery, or not, I m already taking calcium tablets.
got surgery for my ankle (brostrom) about 12 weeks ago, and i gained a lot of fat when in bed. Is it ok for me to try to cut down now? Great video btw.
Gluten and dairy have only been shown to be inflammatory for some populations who have a sensitivity or intolerance to these foods, but not for everyone. The education around nutrition that I provide on this channel is what research supports for most of the demographic, but like with anything, there are always exceptions on an individual level.
Haha Victoria your right! was just about to tell this guy that! I'm half Dutch and we have TONS of lactase. Used to drink literally a gallon of milk a day
The human body is so crappy and fragile, i wonder why people do fitness, weightlifting, sports etc? That's asking for trouble. I wouldn't go further than mild jogging in the park.

I’m so glad you’ve been enjoying the videos!
There's good Research on NAC to help with recovery from anesthesic and to support the liver, manage free radical damage etc
Your recovery insights are always a joy to watch!☺️
So glad to hear that! 🙌🏽❤️

Listen to your body! If you feel that being in a slight surplus helps manage the pain, then that’s important to stick with.

Hello ma'am, I have completed 4 months of acl and meniscus surgery but there is still swelling in my knee is this Normal or not??
It can be normal! I still had some swelling at that point as well. Keep elevating your leg during the day and while sleeping. That will help.
@@VictoriaDorsano yess ma'am sure I will use pillow for elevation, thanks for replying me

@@animeshsrivastava3608 yes! I mentioned a few in this video you can try - but please be sure to check with your doctor first!
Can you tell more or less how long after the surgery each phase begins..
This will give you a decent generalization. www.emoryhealthcare.org/centers-programs/acl-program/recovery/rehab-timeline

The human body is the most advanced machine on earth.
If it’s not working right, it’s because your feeding it garbage and sitting around.
