    I had a foot reconstruction surgery, but in general should I stay in a calorie surplus while healing? Even in a very slight calorie deficit my pain skyrockets for whatever reason

    • @VictoriaDorsano

      Listen to your body! If you feel that being in a slight surplus helps manage the pain, then that’s important to stick with.

    PS: Bread (gluten) and Dairy are super inflammatory, not a good option to heal the body

    • @VictoriaDorsano
      @VictoriaDorsano  Год назад +10

      Gluten and dairy have only been shown to be inflammatory for some populations who have a sensitivity or intolerance to these foods, but not for everyone.
      The education around nutrition that I provide on this channel is what research supports for most of the demographic, but like with anything, there are always exceptions on an individual level.
