ACL Surgery or No Surgery? Important Factors to Consider.
I ordered this a month ago. FreakAthlete shipped it in a timely manor. Fedex delivered it to someone else's house. I contacted Fedex and they confirmed it was their mistake, but told me to contact the shipper for remediation. I have been unable to get anyone from Freak Athlete on the phone or email in two weeks. I'm concerned that this company is a sham.
Update: they called me today and are going to replace the missing package asap. Thanks FA!
seeing this right after my whole family called me an elephant. wow

I never thought of a benefit from having a nap after coffee. Maybe the next trend will be mechanical recliners at coffee shops for quick power naps.
Hahaha little coffee nap pods at Starbucks.
@VictoriaDorsano Starbucks would sell more merch like Starbucks pillows and blankets hahaha
I’m actually struggling with this a lot. I haven’t eaten for 2 days and I don’t feel good. I really want to lose weight because my dad and my sisters are saying I eat too much and are body shaming me. They call me fat and big. I have been crying a lot lately because I’m so insecure. I put tape on my stomach hoping it would make me skinny but it didn’t help. Instead, it gave me hives. I’ve been really sad lately and I’m still starving myself hoping to get skinnier.
Thank you ❤
Thank you for sharing!
From what I am reading most people aren't stopping at IgG. They have already been chewed up and spat out by the medical system and specialists and then done the IGG elimination and supps and their symptoms go away. Even if it was just placebo...placebo works just as well as nocebo works, these are both proven and placebo effect can mimic the positive effect of health interventions and meds. A positive result is a positive result. It seems a frustrating subject because I want to believe peer reviewed journals but it doesn't explain people saying its the test and subsequent actions that helped the most. If the tests are completely inaccurate, then what is causing the remission of symptoms? And I get it, anecdotal evidence is not statistically backed fact but there seems a huge amount of independent anecdotal claims, from people saying they had positive results.
This helps with my recovery, thank you!
You are so welcome!

Hi Ms. Dorsano, Very inspiring video! May I respectfully ask, can drinking 1 gallon of free water a day without electrolytes in it contribute to your initial fatigue? As you know, this can cause low sodium levels in the blood, and cause neurons to swell. Just curious if you seem to tolerate the 1 gallon of free water better as the challenge went on. Very inspiring video! Be well. Nikolas
Great question! I definitely tolerated the water well as I get plenty of electrolytes through other sources in the day (I track it since I sweat so much in my workouts!) My fatigue was purely hormonal for the first 2 days. But I do think a gallon is excessive for most people!
i remeber when i tore mine and couldn’t even lift it for a butt kick😭😭
This is really good.🎉🎉🎉
Trying to be like the show shameless? The show sucked.
Never even seen shameless
L take too bro 😭
What a view! Happy New Year.
Happy new year!
I’m going to try the treadmill, but any tips on tracking those steps? Wondering if it’s worth putting my Apple Watch on my ankle, and lose out on any tracking it would’ve had more accurately (heart rate wise) on my wrist
You not show reverse Hyper with band , please do ! And no sissy squat on this?
I am scheduled for an ACL surgery in 3 days and this video was relieving for sure. I run, getting trained in boxing and martial arts. No major incident took place but I think there was a tear for close to an year which subsided because of regular workouts and strengthening but it got weak now and opened up. The doc said it is a small tear but if I have to resume all the activities again, then surgery is a must. Hopefully, the recovery goes smoother.
Very informative. I am particularly benefitted with the guidance.
What about Thorne?
Very solid company! I don’t know if theirs is micronized but if courser texture doesn’t bother you, it’s a solid pick!
Reflecting on 2024's lessons... Here are 5 things that kept me spinning my wheels instead of moving forward ⬇️ 1. Pushing through with minimal sleep (your body keeps receipts, trust me 😅) 2. Going-going-going without proper recovery time (turns out rest isn't just a nice-to-have) 3. Getting caught up in minor details that honestly didn't matter in the big picture 4. Being harsh on myself when I deviated from "the plan" (ironically making it harder to get back on track) 5. Scheduling everything back-to-back without buffer time (because apparently, I thought I could teleport between meetings 🙃) Sometimes doing less actually helps you achieve more. It's not about hustling harder - it's about being smarter with your energy and time. Here's to learning these lessons and taking them into the new year. Because growth isn't just about adding new habits - sometimes it's about letting go of what's not serving us anymore 💫
Great info. Thank you.
I like half starved myself for like two months. I would just eat like 800/1200 calories a day and then a few days just eat much and unhealthy. I dont feel hunger anymore and lost like 6kg. I want to keep this weight but as soon as i eat normally. Like 3 meals and 2 snacks or so, i gain weight like crazy. After some research i think i fucked up my metabolisme. I dont wanna gain weight. Should i keep starving myself or is there any other way. Plss i need help
Slightly add ,like add 100-200cals more in every 3days ..and exercising also increase metabolism, AND THE IMPORTANT ONE CHEAT DAYS OR MEALS!! THEY GIVE KICK TO METABOLISM green tea also slightly increase it.❤so hope it helps!
I tried using your coupon code but it's not working. Is it supposed to still be valid?
Yes! Still valid. I just tried it and it worked on their website.
Can you tell me a guide for a bad hip flexor strain where i can barely walk. 3 weeks later i can ealk and run but its not fully gone
Since you're still having symptoms 3 weeks out, here's what I'd suggest based on general hip flexor rehab principles: 1. First make sure you've gotten it checked by a medical professional if you haven't already - they can confirm it's just a strain and rule out other issues 2. For gradual return to activity: - Start with gentle isometric holds in pain-free ranges - Progress to dynamic stretching only when ready - Focus on hip mobility work that doesn't aggravate it - Gradually build back to running, starting with short distances - Pay attention to your running form and don't push through pain 3. Common mistakes to avoid: - Returning to full activity too quickly - Stretching aggressively when acute - Ignoring pain during activities If you're running but still feeling it, you might need to temporarily scale back and focus on rebuilding strength. A physical therapist can give you a personalized plan and timeline based on your specific situation. Best of luck my friend!
Hallo..
Is your seat wobbly as well? Just got this and everything seems fine but the seat is too damn wobbly. Its irritating
Initially, it kind of felt wobbly but I realized I didn’t have it tightened all the way.
keep the work up
What about creating hmb?
While HMB+creatine products exist, current research hasn't shown any significant benefits over basic creatine monohydrate - and they typically cost a lot more. I recommend sticking with regular creatine monohydrate for both better results and value! 💪
To each their own but imo HMB works, I am taking 3G.
Thanks for this review. Just got the pro M1! Can you recommend a dust cover?
Naked creatine is good imo
Solid brand for sure!
Thanks Victoria. Good info :) I will say tho, I've used Creatine off and on for decades, and I always had water retention issues and bloating with monohydrate and that hasn't been an issue w Hcl. Just my experience. I haven't tried mono in years at this point. Maybe formulas have improved?
Thanks for sharing your experience, Greg!Everyone can respond differently to supplements - and finding what works best for your body is key. The water retention is actually a normal sign that creatine is doing its job (filling up those muscle cells!). As far as bloating and GI upset goes, starting with a lower dose and staying well-hydrated can really help. In any case, glad you found what works for you! 💪
@@VictoriaDorsano Good info victoria. thanks. LIke greg I tried to stick with mono for a very very long time and varied the dose etc and always had GI issues. HCL just works for me so can you speak to how HCL compares bc even tho it costs more some ppl might just need it
Rhank yoi so much for your fhannel. Thank you so much fir your encouragement and inspiration. God bless you
You are so welcome!
After 1 week ACL and meniscus surgery on December 13 I am at 105 Degrees Flexion
The editing is excellent
Thank you for sharing your story, even though it was painful for you. Your journey and advice helps me, as I am trying to become more healthy. Thank you so much! Have you ever thought about publishing a book about wellness?
Glad it helped!! I have thought about it, but I hate writing. So it would be tough for me to crank that out! So for now, videos are the easiest way for me to share :)

1st comment. TY
I just recently had an acl injury and as a young Judo athlete my cardio was a big concern so what ive been doing is stationary air bike sprints only using my arms or the ski, that machine where you pull these two cables just like when your skiing and they have been working really well and i always end up super exhausted
when you did your acl surgery did they take the replaccement out of your hamstring? I just talked to some friends who also had surgery and they say how they cant sit down on their knees butt to ankle because they would just get hamstring cramps and that kind of scared me
Actually, I had a patellar tendon graft for my ACL reconstruction, not a hamstring graft. But I can share what I know - there are several graft options for ACL surgery, with patellar tendon and hamstring being two of the most common. Each has its own pros and cons. The hamstring cramping your friends mentioned can happen with hamstring grafts, especially early in recovery, but it usually improves with proper rehabilitation.
So pretty ❤❤
Best Thank You
I also had ankle surgery and now it's been three months and I still haven't got the confidence. Can I run again please reply ma'am.😢
Thanks for sharing your experience and such a positive message. I’m going to need to do ACL surgery in a few weeks and your message is very encouraging.
Glad it helped. Wishing all goes well!
Do you know how to measure the strength of the tibialis anterior and of the knee? Suppose you measure it before using the tib bar and after using it for 30 days 3 times a day with 10 repetitions. If you had an exact measure you could compare. Otherwise I find most claims about the tibialis to be unsubstantiated.
Great question about measuring strength gains! There are actually several validated methods to quantify tibialis anterior and knee strength: For the tibialis anterior, you can use a handheld dynamometer in a seated position with the ankle at neutral (90 degrees). This gives you a precise measurement in Newtons or pounds of force. Many physical therapy clinics and sports labs have this equipment. For knee strength, you can measure using either an isokinetic dynamometer (gold standard) or a 1RM test on exercises like leg extension for isolated quadriceps strength.
Hello, love the Video, my son has been having lower back pain for over 5 months. And we’re thinking it can be the hip flexors. If hip flexors are weak can that cause lower back pain? Or do they have to be tight to cause lower back pain? Thanks
Thank you for your comment! Yes, both tight AND weak hip flexors can potentially contribute to lower back pain. Here's why: When hip flexors are weak, other muscles often try to compensate, which can stress the lower back. The body may develop poor movement patterns that put extra strain on the spine. When hip flexors are tight, they can pull the pelvis forward, creating an excessive arch in the lower back (anterior pelvic tilt), which can also cause discomfort. Given that your son has been experiencing pain for 5 months, I'd strongly recommend having him evaluated by a healthcare provider - ideally a physical therapist or sports medicine physician who can properly assess his specific situation and develop an appropriate treatment plan. They can determine if the hip flexors are indeed the source of the problem and recommend targeted exercises or stretches if needed.

i wish you would put out a video showing longer durations of you doing the exercises. I'm new to GHD exercises and it would be helpful to see longer GHRs and GHD sit ups while you talk over the video for instance. I'm watching your technique and I think I got it and the video pans back to you speaking so I have to rewind. This would also be helpful on the other exercises.
I had a meniscus surgery. I had a torn meniscus repaired. It’s been almost 5 months and I can still bend my knee only to 140 degrees
Hi Victoria, discovered your channel today and your videos helped me a lot mentally. I torn my ACL Monday this week and I guess the worst part isn't that I can't walk, but the mental burden it becomes. I find myself thinking "Oh man, if I didn't try to cut that guy out on soccer, I would be fine now", and also been unable to walk and be 100% dependent of my wife it's hard. I really appreciate your video and I may also record videos myself to track how I am improving.
