Poulter is inspiring but the athlete that struck me the most is Sarah Fahr from the italian women national team. She had a first acl injury as a middle blocker and then a second one a few months after being back on court. She almost quit volleyball until she randomly met a semiparalised man on the train who insipired her to move forward and never give up. This year she and the italian team won the gold medal at the Paris Olympics 2024. The first gold medal ever for the team. She is my inspiration!
Vinesh phogat from India is one more great example of tremendous comeback, although things do not go in her favor and she was ruled out due to 100g overweight for gold medal match. But the comeback was outstanding.
Great inspiring video!!
Missed out on Carolina Marin (badminton).
Snapped her ACL in semifinals, but was one of medal contenders in her event
Thanks for sharing. I just read up about her -- wow that must've been so unfortunate. Hope she recovers well!
Thank you for the research🙏🏼 means a lot for me who is on the road to recovery after ACL reconstruction 😊
You got it ❤️
