Not necessarily when it first started when I began my ATG journey. There was zero, dense and standards. Now there are many more programs within ATG that allow for those progressions to happen.
@@VictoriaDorsanoATG develops the “hardware.” Dorsiflexion, knee extension, knee flexion, hip extension, hip flexion. All trained through full range, unlike 99% of other sport training. Ben Patrick said that generally the players he coached who were fastest had the strongest reverse squat/low cable pull-in. Poliquin taught this move, but you simply don’t see it in other strength programs. More generally all the progressions are there (always have been). There’s a bit outside of those programs, for example there is an ATG snatch grip deficit deadlift; but that can be broken down into components. Plyos are just icing on top. “ATG plus sport.”
I have a fully ruptured ACL and meniscus tear. I’m doing my physio but no mention of ACL reco. I’m meeting my consultant end of jan. I still can’t run or jump or play football
Two weeks post op from bucket head meniscus repair. Man it’s hard just the no weight bearing period. But have enjoyed your videos. Thanks. Andy, Madrid.
“Developing speed and power and all those things too…” is definitely part of ATG progressions.
