Hi Victoria,
I am planning my surgery date for torn acl and I am having difficulty selecting a graft. I am leaning towards a quad or hamstring. What's your thoughts on those and are you happy with your btb graft? I am also 33, in shape, and play soccer and basketball in rec leagues. Thanks
Super happy with my graft! But I say go with whatever your surgeon is most comfortable with combined with what you feel is best for your circumstances
can you do a full range of motion ass to grass squat without pain ?? how long did it take to achieve that ?
Yes! Probably about 1 year after surgery for no pain at all
How is your knee doing compared to the nonsurgical knee? Till now
It’s about 95-98% most days. Still a little discomfort if I push it too hard, but it holds up really well and doesn’t slow me down in my sports or activities at all?
