- It's no secret that we love Tarpon at Dorsal Outdoors. From that monsterous, crushing eat... to the insane acrobatic jumps. There's just so much to love about tarpon.
In Episode 3 of our series, George and David take a tip from Nick to hike through the jungle of Mexico to fish a lagoon that hasn't been fished in a long long time.
The catch? You need a boat to fish from.
The double catch? The trail is super narrow. Only inflatable paddleboards will do. Thankfully there are 2 @BoteBoard s in the trunk of the car.
What comes next is the most insane fishing footage we've ever captured.

That was likely the most amazing tarpon jump captured on video that I've seen! Getting the full fish in the foreground with the angler still in the background is extremely difficult. So awesome.
