This is the best 30 minute fishing video I've ever seen. Perfect footage. Huge wild fish. Excellent music. So chill but exciting. This video should have over a million views. Great work!
It's been 10-12 yrs since I was able to head south of the border to enjoy and backwater fly fishing for Tarpon. Alas, old age is creeping up on me and I don't know if Id be up for the fight but the next best is watching the video! Really gets the wonderlust going. Thanks for your hard work, brother. So enjoyable!
Unreal man. Haven’t seen a fly film with such heart coupled with outrageous technical skill. Catching hundred plus pound tarpon in backwater jungle estuaries is simply incredible- out of a goddamn float tube ! An all time GOAT fly fishing film.
10 years ago! Time passes and yet when you have a giant poon on the other end it seems to pause. Great video 10 years later. For beginners, it doesn’t matter if it’s 2010 or 2050, hooking a big tarpon on a float tube is HARD sh*t.
That was absolutely outrageous, can't believe he never broke a rod ! That fellas wouldn't get intimated with a Salmon hook up ! That was some great rod/fish handling techniques. What a rush that must of been.
I was wondering too, I love Tarpon fishing but have always been freaked out by crocs, great to know there are places where the hunter doesn’t become the hunted !
Wow, that reminds me of the Atlantic coast of Nicaragua. Where exactly was this filmed? I remember my father about fishing for tarpons on the rivers. Never had the chance to do it though.
@@tapamthemovie I watched your movie many times and for many years I dreamed of catching tarpon with a fly in this way. This year in October I will be there, I hope that I will feel the freedom that I see in your film. Is there anything you can advise? greetings from Norway Waldemar

AMAZING video! Why it doesn’t have 1 million views is beyond me. Thanks for sharing and your conservation work!

The last clip around 29min is maybe the best of the entire film. Laughed out loud. Great film guys!

I own the DVD and this has some more scenes, different editing, different music.
28:33 Love the "tabano" in the shot !!! lol

Where is this generally? One of the coolest fishing videos I have ever seen. Freakin’ awesome
Inland upriver from Bluefields, Nicaragua.
I was wondering too, I love Tarpon fishing but have always been freaked out by crocs, great to know there are places where the hunter doesn’t become the hunted !
Awesome guys - I really enjoyed watching the film and “which I was there”! Looking forward to the next one🤞
Very Nice Film......
and what did you guys find out regarding the tarpon tacking programm the fish after all those years - any results ?
Epic video!
Daniel helped jeremy wade in catching tarpon what a legend.
Good fight.. I like this video.. Nice job
Amazing fishing dude..
Must be the best pirate I has ever seen
Come and fish with me here in Nicaragua TARPONS, I know all the same spots in this video and even more better unique spots
Wow! Awesome
Still some best footage
Legendary!
Amazing boys I'm so jealous 😂👍
Love this!!!!!
I love the "dirt bag" approach to your fishing. What weight rods and lines do you like?
Howdy, we pretty much only used 12 WT rods from Scott w/ Mako reels. Lines were mostly Leviathan lines from Rio w/ their strong core.
Ok thanks@@tapamthemovie
Great footage
Doesn’t need the music
The nature sounds are better
Yes, no music in fisch movies
incredible, just incredible.
Double handed retrieve..... See us northeastern folk aren't crazy after all.
Its called roly-poly (atleast here hehe) and it’s widely used for pike and trout aswell :)
keren banget!!!!!vidio yg meng inspirasi gw!!!!
Kind of interesting after he plays that big fish into a coma and then declares it will be fine, that it doesn’t then show a successful revival
anybody know the name of the song that starts at 9:40 in the video? i’ve been searching for 30 min now
Awesome
Didn’t realize the scale of these fish in the thumbnail, blew my mind on that first full breach.
That’s a damn dinosaur… what an incredible fish.
...awesome, where was that ?
These guys blow
Kanon film. God underholdning og så er den skruet godt sammen
well Done! no Sharks?
Amazing film, but I would be terrified of bull sharks and caimans..
Wow, that reminds me of the Atlantic coast of Nicaragua. Where exactly was this filmed? I remember my father about fishing for tarpons on the rivers. Never had the chance to do it though.
I float tube for trout and bass. This guys unreal.
Un... Reel...! 😲
wow id love to catch a tarpon your asome.
🔝🔝🔝
nice videos
anyone know what kind of rod that is?
Scott Rods
I wanna know the soundtrack ! Calling out your name was a killer song. Who sings it?
Pretty much all the music stems from Danish musician Anders Frank
Is this Costa Rica tortuguero?
My jaw just dropped and I can't get it up again...
So where can I sign up to do this at?
not worried about bull sharks taking your legs?
Epic
Thanks for sharing!! I hope they don't have alligators there..!
All good, the locals are in the water all the time, there are no reported incidents.
There are bull sharks though! But what are the odds? Very slim probably

U can't keep enough pressure on them to tire them out ,%90 of all lost fish is because the line went slack ,awesome fishing though 👍
Where do people get the money to do these types of things.
No worries about crocodiles?
There are crocs there, but after many talks w/ locals (who also swim) none of them could report any kind of attack on humans.
I have no idea how this works lol fly fishing is so alien
Eso sí es vida
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻
COOL. I CAUGHT A 200LB ON MY 10 WEIGHT..IN COSTA RICA
👍👍👍🎣🎣🎣🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷
show
CROCODILE..............
My......god......
Tagging…… more human intervention. Look what it did for the Atlantic Salmon in the 60’s. Brilliant footage tho’.
Just wondering if there r Tarpon surely there are bull sharks🦈☠️ as well???🤔💩
Hello? looks like the miskito coast of Nicaragua!!!
Yes, it is.
Sabe qdo eu vou pescar assim, com as pernas dentro d água nunquinha 😨
This seems like a horrible idea 😂
